I am not a Dr but we are in d same situation (hyperprolactinemia) but mine is not high to d extent of producing milk. I will suggest u use dostinex one dose per week since bromocriptine didn't work for u and some people use perlodel and it works. Body react to drug differently I guess. Although, my doc prescribe bromocriptine and ovacare for me. You can also check TTC thread for more idea on how to treat it

Good evening to u all, pls I want to ask of d normal range for Prolactin because, I av been seeing diff number for d maximum level.
My Prolactin is 26 and on my hormonal assay report, it is written dat normal range is 1-20, I read online dat normal range is 2-29 and on @mamakendra report, normal range is 5-35
Pls, I really want to know.

Have you been ovulating? The indices of the test suggests to me that, you have not been ovulating. That makes me wonder about the other hormonal profiles you've done.
Normal estrogen and prolactin levels? They will normalise as soon as you begin treatment to regularise your prolactin levels.
What you can use for your estrogen? I'd advice you do the former first and not worry about the estrogen, but if you must, your doctor can prescribes estrogen pill for you.

A problem known is half solved. Visit a clinic and request treatment for the HYPERPROLACTINAEMIA, everything else will fall into place.
I recommend Dorstinex, you'll be administered as appropriate.

From d result, does it mean I av not been ovulating or ovulating poorly because my estrogen is below normal too.
Pls dr, how long will it take for my estrogen and Prolactin to normalise and wat can I use for my estrogen cos d normal range starts from 30 and mine is 21.

@hotmomma, thnx for d suggestion but can d folliculometry scan be done with high Prolactin level measuring 26.
I also want to know how long it will take for my Prolactin to normalise since it's not really high

Pls, wen is d perfect day of d circle to do d scan. I av a 25 day circle, wen shld I do d scan.
What type of scan shld I do cos I av done pelvic scan abt 2 months ago and d result was normal except for a left cyclical cyst and doc said I shldnt worry dat it will shrink cos I did it during my ovulation period.

@Fvine u said pineapple core shld be taken a day after ovulation for 5 days, how do I know day 1 after my ovulation cos it's confusing. Some pple said ovulation is for 5 days while some said 7 days.
I have a 25 day circle and I know I ovulate from cd10 but i start d deed from cd9. Pls, how do I know wen my ovulation ends

Day 3 is for FSH, LH and d likes while day 21 is for progesterone to determine if ovulation has taken place. Some drs are only interested in day 21 while some wrk with both days. IMO go for both days as they work together. Best of luck dear.

try do hormonal profile test to b sure ur hormones are at optimal range. Its done on day 3 n 21 of ur cycle. Ask d lab more questions.
Also do ecs/mcs.....endocervical swab culture to rule out infection
ur hubby to do sfa/mcs....seminal fluid analysis n culture to check spe.rm count n infection
for egg white cervical mucus buy omega 369 supplements n take thru out ur cycle.
or
take grapefruit juice n epo (evening primrose oil) 1000 m.g twice a day from d day menses stop to just b4 ur ovulation
some supplements do regulate menstrual cycle e.g fertilaid for women, evergreen woman, m2tone. And use in addition to royal jelly, pollen, propolis n maca. Dey improve fertility.
eat more fruits n veggies , exercise n massage

Lets not be dismayed, just yet. Firstly, I'll like you to observe this menses of yours. Colour, volume, duration.
While on that, follow through with DONATEE'S advice.
Although am not so comfortable with the supplements.
What I'd do for you is to takeout time and investigate them both in and out of the clinics.

My menses last 3 to 4 days and sometimes, it stains my pant on d 5th day. it's a normal flow and sometimes I feel d quantity is below normal but someone tld me it's not something to be worried abt. it's a normal menstrual colour and der is blood clot in it too sometime
