gusto12: Hello everyone,
I recently received request for POF and the time very short. Pls what is the best pof? Just converted an investment to cash. Can I do fixed deposit as at today or credit my spouse account with the funds? Or do anyone have any advice? Please! You can send it to your spouse and they back up with a little explanation that you liquidated some investments. You don't need a fixed deposit thingy and it will still kinda need an explanation if it is so new anyway. Some will suggest you do a gift deed and have the funds transferred back to you guys by a parent or sibling but I think that's unnecessary. ...Your choice. |

fadeofresh: Most certainly & You can keep it in a DOM account. If you are on this journey I strongly advise POF be changed to USD.
Please who can assist with affordable airlines, Ethiopian airlines appear to have stopped all flights from Nigeria. I couldn't book on their website. Why couldn't you book on their website? If your card isn't working, book on hold and pay at their office. For some reason, their site has been doing that for years... You can also pay by transfer online instead of using a card, this way, you avoid having to go to their office. So, pick the transfer option when you get to the payment page, I don't believe you can book on hold in this case though. |

P4perissos: I'm in a dilemma. I have LLB (law). I have evaluated my certificate with IQAS. However, I have masters in project management that I haven't evaluated. Should I evaluate it instead and backdate my experience as a project manager? Because I got the masters this year. Or I should just continue with the law thingy. Thank you What is your need for another ECA if you can use the one you already have? |

Adex2442: Tanks took just 18 days. Do I need to upload my certificate on that no.4 Yes, you should upload the certificate as they describe on the website. Some people never did that or had to. It depends on the institution involved. For number 3, the ball is in WES' court and there is no further action from you or your institution |

ireneayeni: @Dimple10 @Allegory Thank you so much for your response. its clearer now I will rather go with lagos then, However, where and how do you make payment for transmission fee? A little Backstory: I did my Biometrics since last year but it was for my Study Visa. I was denied the visa However I did not have to do the biometrics again. So I do not have access to a yellow slip. What I have is a "White Slip, Passport biodata Page and the Consent Form I had Filled from Last Year". Do I Include the white Slip Instead?
Also, If You do not Mind, Please can I have your whatsapp number so I can just send you a DM directly or give you a call? Thanks a lot Okay, I think you should include the white slip then, that I believe is what is needed in your case. |

ireneayeni: Thank you for your response rume. I had done biometrics when I wanted to do Study route. However, my Study application was declined. I am not sure I still have access to a yellow Biometrics Slip.Hence, what do you advise as regards not having the Yellow Slip. Also do I just book an appointment to go Drop the listed Documents or I can just do a walk in to drop them. I will really appreciate your response. Thank you I am not entirely sure what they will require if you don't have the biometrics slip. If you aren't sending the documents through the Lagos VFS office and instead directly to Accra then you will definitely need to pay the transmission fee. If you did give your biometrics in Lagos and decide to send your passport through Lagos, you could send them what you have (without the biometrics slip) and they may or may not request the transmission fee from you. I believe @Dimple10 has covered everything else. |

Bibitayo2: Please I still need opinions concerning this.
Thank you. Mention both the Master's and the first degree when creating your WES profile and application. Go ahead and process your transcript, when you eventually finish the other degree, request for the transcript to be sent to WES. WES will wait to receive both transcripts before completing your assessment. If you don't include both qualifications at the start and decide to add the second degree later, you'd have to pay more, but your assessment for the first degree may be ready before January if you can get the transcript (and verification) to them in good time. |

Teluv: Good day my special people, We received an email today from CIC with the Subject title visa Ready with instructions on how to submit our passport, there is no update on our application . Family of 4 PNP New Brunswick- December 2021 AOR - December 2021 Application submitted January 2022 Medicals done - December 2021 Medicals passed - March 2022 Visa Ready email May 2022
Pls my dear people which fees is VAC Passport Transmission fee and how is it made to the VAC. We already made all payment at application submission. Abeg make una no vex. Guide a learner please.
Thank You It is the fee one pays for their passport to be transmitted by VFS. Usually, you won't have to pay if you send your passport to the same VFS office where you had your biometric details taken (you would need to attach the receipt you were given when you did the biometrics thingy). |

imarrpopson: Biko people, I have questions concerning my NYSC work experience. I worked Nov 2019 - Oct 2020 but the last credit from the government was in Sep 2020(they paid for Sep and Oct at the same time-this was 66k).
I intend submitting my salary statement of account to show the last 6 salary payments. I hope them seeing the last payment was made in Sep wouldn't raise eyebrows?
And apart from the reference letter and SOA, is there anything else to submit. No payslips for NYSC job. I have few pictures of me while I worked at the school tho.
PS: No ITA yet o. Just gathering my documents against July or whenever they resume. I don too wait since early 2021. Assume I know nothing about NYSC and decide to compare your reference letter with your submitted account statement. If you think I'd question the claims on your letter and maybe reduce the period I think you worked there then maybe avoid creating such a possibility. You can show other months instead, it must not be six months. That said, I don't think you'd be in problems if you go ahead and submit it the way you mentioned but if you are the kind of person who analyses things and asks these kind of questions you have asked, for your own peace of mind, show other months. |

Lemmi repeat again, pls pple with nysc work experience with government school that of cause dint pay them during nysc service should pls help. How did u state ur in ur reference letter that u where bn paid nysc money instead of the school u taught. Is it acceptable by ircc standard State the pay (allowance) from the government. You don't have to say "NYSC paid me 15000 naira per month". There are a thousand ways to have that drafted into the letter without saying, "We at Ore Grammar School did not pay him directly." You can be resuming at company A daily, and yet have Company B as your employer who pays you your wages. You can even suggest bullet points to the school Conditions of employment: Employment period: Hours per week: Salary: Be smart and yet honest |

TemTon: Good morning,
Please I would like to find out if I worked in a family business in the past, do I need to submit a letter of explanation, payment receipts/payslips to support my claim. I have letter of employment and I can only find evidence of two payments in my bank statement showing my salary in my last two months at the business. You can submit your reference letter with all the required details. If you wish, indicate in an LOE that it was a family business, I don't believe you must do this. Also, add the last two months bank statements and the payslips that you have. |

Agapemade: ADVICE URGENTLY NEEDED!!!
Please my seniors in the house, kindly advice me. I am the principal applicant and we are considering applying with the 'spouse not accompanying' option. We are aware that this doesn't change the required POF for our family size, but just that my CRS is higher if my spouse is not accompanying (476) as opposed to 465 if he is accompanying (his ielts was a bit low).
We just need advice about the pros and cons of following this option. I clock 31 in December and will be loosing 5 points if I don't get ITA before then.
Kindly advice please. Thanks You'd lose 6 points when you turn 31 not 5, and by then, your 465 would be...well you do the calculation. He needs to take the test again. |

CokeBar: Hello guys, QQ:
If the reference letter provided by the bank includes:
- account number - date account was opened - current balance of account - average balance for the past 6 months - no debts and funds are readily available to me.
If there a need to attach a 6 months bank statement?
@Ednut1 No, it was never stated that this was a necessity. However, most people include statements. If you want to, go ahead and include the statement, especially if it makes you sleep better at night. A few stories on here involve ADRs for statements but I have never come across a refusal based solely on an omission of statements (something that wasn't asked for in the first place). |
