n0m0705: This is not about a team being better than the other, it is about tactics, this present barcelona is better than arsenal yet arsenal got a 2-0 victory at the same ground where barca got spanked 4 nil. IF you really think man u will go all out attack against a team like bayern in an away fixture them you know nothing about this present man utd.Thank you. I was just about to point out the same thing...sometimes, it is not about who is better; it is about going out there and doing our own homework. We all saw how for long periods, over two-legs, we rendered a far superior Real Madrid impotent. Dortmund just only carried on from where that g.a.y, CR7-lusting Turkish ref stopped us! |
when a woman does "tangible things" for you; especially when you do not ask or cajole her to, then she is in love with you. Anything else, na wash! |
OLAMIDE... |
When asked, "where do you see yourself 5 years from now?" or something akin to that - what are the interviewers/recruiters looking to establish precisely? what is the aim of such questions? |
I don't know why all the noise about Giggs. . .the fact that he still played this many games should be a slap on the face of the youngsters we have. The endeavor, vigor, attitude and passion that 40yr old man shows when he is on the field is the total embodiment of what UTD signifies, demands of its stars; and which clearly is lacking in many of our young guns! |
Is this eyesight, spelling and pronunciation problem or just plain dumbness!!? Her last name is D A M A S U S. . .not D A M A S C U S |
dolphinife: i think the person that wrote this trash should be incarcerated. from the above pix, it is very clear and evident that the chinese is a guy while the Kenyan is a lady.Wrong man. Men, women competitors all run together. They start together, run the same course but its two different contests. Eventually there will be two winners. One male, one female. |
StarBoard: I think he's similar to RvP. So adding him might offset the balance of the attack.I agree with you...unless we lose a striker or two, we don't have to go chasing BVB for him; maybe we can look at one or two of their midfielders. Upfront for now, we are alright. |
Did you know? The Lord sure works in mysterious ways. . .look where you are now, son! ![]() |
coogar: he's really on his game tonight! If you'd watched observed him closely against Real in the group stages, you'd understand better why I was raving about him then. Dude scared the sh*t out of Pepe, Arbeloa and Ramos back then; I am sure Ramos must have heaved a huge sigh of relief when he heard he was playing R.B. Lewandowski is the white-man's version of Didier Drogba, only a touch "skillful-er". While he doesn't look so much of a physical specimen, don't be fooled, that dude strong die! Facing the opponents goal or not, as long as he is in the opposition area from the half-way line upwards, he is a threat - directly or indirectly - we all saw that last night. Last but not least, the dude can finish! He's like Drogba + Pipo + a bit of trickery for good measure all rolled in one. Wish we had him. . .but we have RvP and he'll do for now! |
You are flirting with bankruptcy this guy! How many bets have you lost now?
Easy bro. Just the one. . .I ain't that stew.pid ![]() But I love to put my money where my mouth is, especially when I strongly believe. . . and seriously, I am up for any takers on this one - Barcelona will play in Wembley come May! |
eyoniggar: I blv in a comeback next week, sentiments aside, as a Barca faithful, i am obliged to remain confident regardless of whatever goes down. Plus why was messi declared fully fit while he wasnt? I doubt his full fitness nxt week, and why Barta instead of abidal?I am far from a faithful but I am sure; if there is any team in this world, on their day, that can over-turn such a deficit. . .this team is it. They love to break records and this is another one just waiting to be smashed! |
carr96: ...anyhow sha...his church is a "walkable" distance frm my crib in lag....|| FFO (for food only)Ok nah. I go dey wait you just after ***** Grammar school, make we join go together ![]() |
I'd still bet my house on Barcelona going through. Adriano L-B, Abidal C-B, Tello L-attack. . .and they will be just fine! |
To me, the result over both leg depends massively on which "Barcelona side" shows up - the Barca side vs PSG, then Bayern are through. The Barca side vs Milan (2nd leg), bye-bye Bayern! But I still maintain that the advantage is with Barcelona; they don't have to change much about their game (not like they ever do actually). . .but Bayern have a lot of thinking to do! |

4llerbuntu: apparently they are the only ones who have worked and fought? they are level/behind three other teams. are u insinuating those teams were simply lounging whilst spurs was toiling? Each man to his own. . .year in year our, I don't see what Arsenal does with the same fourth spot either! |
There is an odd mixture about this game. . .on current form and recent results, Barcelona come to this game as "slight under-dogs"; yet this will be Bayern's "stiffest" challenge this season. Bayern have a problem. They have big quality, players who are used to being in control of the ball, constantly on the offensive, the "dominant side". But against Barca, they face a side who almost always likely to dominant possession of the football even if they do nothing meaningful with it. Now the question is. . . how do a rampaging Bayern, who are so used to pouring forward in numbers literally bombarding the opposition goal, transform into a "bodies behind the ball", "keep the defensive shape", "close down the spaces" Stoke, Reading or Osasuna over-night!!? |
I hope we can return Spurs the favour by taking significant points off Arsenal and Chelsea respectively. . . they have worked and fought ever so hard for this UCL spot, you can't help but have empathy for 'em! |
manmustwac: All his substitutes played a part in our 3 goals in 7 minutesHe is a good manager...people just refuse to acknwoledge that. |
@ OP, Point of correction, it is women who have this mind-set, not men! |
Where the fvck is Handanovic!? ![]() |
Thank you Spurs. . . Thank you AVB (The New Special One). . . ![]() |

Please show here sharpenly and school this novice! ![]() |
montelik: Anyways Welbeck made the shortlist for young player of the award. They clearly do not have that many outstanding "young players" in the EPL that is why DW19 is even on that short-list. . .if na for Bundesliga, who born am well! ![]() |
mekula: What you are looking for is intrigue! I a very much like you. I never got intimate with any girl more than 5-10 times before I got bored no matter how long the chase...until I met one girl. She has an intriguing personality. What people like us need is adventure and we need someone to give it to us to the fullest. Spontaeneity is the key, never knowing what to expect each time u are with her. You wanna get up and do stuff sometimes, without having to plan ahead. A lot of folks think there is a playbook on how relationships should be structured, you are a non conformist. The moment you can seemingly anticipate her every move, boredom creeps in. Nothing for you to conquer again. Some women are just natural at this, while others study u closely and adjust but redundancy sets in after some time. I guess you are an adrenaline junkie of some sort(in a good way though). Believe me, when you find that one person, you will get stuck like glue. I dated mine for 4yrs, lived with her for most of the duration. the only relationship I have ever been in. I call others flings because they never lasted beyond 3months.Spot on! |
I feel you man, at a point it begins to get irritating, because you want to settle down but can't seem to. . . that said, there is nothing wrong with you dude. . . some of us are just like that; but eventually, we get stuck on one! |
For me, I won't the topic is misleading oh because as long as the matter don reach where baba alawo dey involved, anything can happen oh. So, for all you folks shouting down the OP; we can never be sure what their intentions were - best we all be careful, alert and on our guard all the time. We cannot just assume that they are "mere fraudsters" because they are using "familiar lines or format". It is usually people who feel they are too skilled, exposed or experienced that run a higher risk of being complacent - as the popular saying "na over-skill dey kill Monkey". Thank you OP for this topic. Let us just be very vigilant and extricate ourselves from such situations as quickly as possible! My humble opinion! |
maclatunji: I have said it before, many of you suffer from Complicit Victim Syndrome (CVS). You guys need Boko Haram to do evil things to satisfy your misplaced hate of Islam and Muslims. Especially those of Northern extraction. Please, save the rhetorics for those who will fall at your feet for 'em - which part of my initial post suggests a "hatred", misplaced or otherwise for Islam, Muslims or people of Northern extraction"!? |
