coogar: united fans criticised them more than the fans of our rivals. they were never world class materials - o'shea was better in his early years....fortune was just a pleb!Actually, I wanted that other fella to respond to the poser. UTD has never been stockpiled with "superstars" as such; average, squad players like cleverly are also very crucial to our stability, consistency and success...so I know not what he means when he says "united material"! |
In other news, massive help...coming from So'ton off all clubs. Fortune truly favors UTD this term; weak midfield, shaky-shaky keeper or not ![]() |
Ok. To quell this argument... I need sincere answers -John O'shea, Quinton Fortune etc. Were they ever considered "world class" Man Utd materials? |
Might just be the guy that scores the decider in the final ![]() |
The fans are the architect of whatever misfortune befalls the team... The issue with chelsea us purely psychological. How do you expect the psyche or morale if the team to be high when they can't determine if the fans are for or against 'em!!? Same situation post-mourinho; JM apologists willed, prayed and even fasted for Grant's failure just to protect the "sanctity of their so called special one". Now, it is Rafa; nothing he ever does is good enough...meanwhile, the root cause isn't getting any stick - Abi Una dey fear am!? When the team wins, you scour heaven and hell for what to attribute the victory to; when they lose, you suddenly remember rafa and Torres. The sooner y'all realize its all about the interest of the team first over any individual, the better. |
If Carrick isn't going to start un the bernabeu, then peeps like coogar and starboard berra have a well-equipped ambulance close by cuz giggsy go surely start ![]() But on the real, I am more concerned with what we'll throw at 'em offensively...i'd love to see us line out 4-4-2. Rooney out on the left, RvP and hernandez in attack. Every other position, I leave to the gaffer! ![]() |
Please. What's with the doom and gloom!!? We're stuck with players we have now, mediocre or not, its how we mold 'em together as a unit that determines how good the team is. Come Feb13...Madrid is going down right there in the Bernabeu. I've already dubbed it - The Valentine Eve Massacre ![]() |
kandiikane: LMAO! Na wa ooo. Im shocked, If Ellen was a man and gay, she would have gotten battered here but since she's a lesbian it's all peace and love.I don't think the "peace and love" you speak of is because it is a woman involved... Ellen is a wonderful person (at least the lady I see on the tv show is). Funny as hell and always with a big smile on her face that is hardly cosmetic. Her larger than life personality and generosity makes it very easy to like her inspire of the fact that she is gay. |
sweetguy10: Meaning :Yeah, its an open secret... I recall the ucl game messi copped 5; alves had a 1v1 with the German goalie right at the edge of the 6-yard box but delayed till messi, who was running from deep, got in the box before laying it in his path. I remember vividly 'cos I almost screamed myself hoarse that night... I thought alves had lost his mind. |
coogar: another premier league side in the fa cup draw...In a sense, I think it's better we play these sides; Baba tends to take 'em more seriously and fields stronger teams...just imagine if we're given Oldham or MK Dons, I can bet you that Giggs, Scholes, Jones will be the first names on the list and will play the full minutes...and we all know what you think about this ![]() All in all, I think the draw is favorable and for the first time in years, we stand a big chance of lifting the FA cup. |
that rafinha kid looks special...both b-teams play like mirror images of their senior sides! |
I only added jara about the crying part but she likes Torres a lot and till this day I'm not sure why
I think Torres just needs to know there's folks out there that still love him...and I bet he'll be scoring freely again! |
El Nino...spares their blushes. FT haters, fix face Jor ![]() |
Ahem please tomorrow is my little cousin/niece's birthday she's only 2 and a die-hard Chelsea fan. Her favorite player is Fernando Torres, when I told her that her best player is yet to score in 2013 she broke into tears and it broke my heart to see her crying. So please make una helep me beg Torres make he score today so she can enjoy her birthday tomorrow
She's got her birthday wish!![]() |
Ok. Any more FT bashing tonight!? |
Congrats TA. Just name him Lewandowski...and the kid will know no dull moments through his growing up years! ![]() |
I don't think our ever tire of saying this...yours is a special, special side. Breath-taking stuff! |
Absolutely no excuse for hazard to do that... Its no different from cantona's infamous flying drop-kick or zeezou's headbutt. A pro sportsman has to try and keep his cool and put up good behavior at all times, hard as it may be, they just have to. How would he feel if that was his kid!!? |
Ok. Fernando Torres didn't play, MAZACARBA did...so who are we blaming tonight!? ![]() |
Hazard is a disgrace...big DISGRACE! |
coogar: that's not all....Ok. The only response I will give to this is - Thank God we bought RvP, thank God some more that Rooney and Hernandez are fit. . .! I just don't want to imagine a situation where Dw19 is the only available striker - na only PRESS we go dey PRESS till season end! |
debosky: Shebi Ba played the 90 minutes? Why didn't Chelski win?I tire oh. . . .Its either Torres or Rafa. |
coogar: welbeck has more potential than theo walcott....welbeck's only problem is his composure and decision making in the opponent's penalty box. his workrate is exemplary. he pressed the liverpool defence so much the brendan rodgers tiki-taka couldn't be deployed. welbeck kept forcing reina to hit it long thus losing possession! however, fergie should have replaced him with hernandez in the 70th minute!Dude. . .for real - ONLY! That is ALL the problem a striker can ever have and after how many years at UTD, learning at the feet of some of the game's best finishers, he still has the same problems. Nucca please! |
dayokanu: “The love and admiration that our Club feels for Bayern and its supporters has once again been demonstrated through the historic bond between these two players who have set new standards and generated such sentiment among our respective fans”, said the Barça president.Well, well. . .why am I not surprised!? Ever since I read that bit there, I sensed some form of business was going to go down between these two establishments! |
Like I never loved before --- Phil Vassar (I swear I will sing this song to my wifey on our wedding day) Tonight I wanna cry --- Keith Urban Please remember --- Le Ann Rimes Please remember me --- Tim McGraw Moving on --- Rascal Flatts |
debosky: Danny Welbeck - MOTM.Perhaps we should trade him for TW14 + some cash too - since you seem to regard him so highly! |
StarBoard: Avoiding the elephant in the room, are you. (Master Yoda)I am not avoiding anything. . .the first half performance was top notch, we should been three or four goals ahead if we'd taken our chances. Second half was very poor, I accept. after the second goal, we switched off and gave 'em more than we should. Their goal brought a bit of nervousness too. All in all, I am okay with the performance. . .the way we marked in the first half - thats how we will cater for our defensive issues in the short-term - we have struck a balance here (might not be perfection) but it works and continuity will only help; making changes now, might not be beneficial! |
That was a harsh decision by the ref jare! |
You guys might just be celebrating a tad too early oh! |
The game should have been done and dusted in the first half. Liverpool made mistakes we should have capitalised on. Oh, how I long that Hernandez was on the field! |
Franz, 53, holds a law degree, is a Czech drama professor, a painter and a prolific opera and theater composer.I look at him and this is all I see. . .seems he's got creds! |
dayokanu: “The love and admiration that our Club feels for Bayern and its supporters has once again been demonstrated through the historic bond between these two players who have set new standards and generated such sentiment among our respective fans”, said the Barça president.I think what the Barca presido simply saying is "Thank you, we appreciate what you did last season in the UCL semi-final, you have our complete support. . .please don't hesitate to do it again!" ![]() |
