Health › Re: I Finally Took The Hiv Test And The Result Is.... by saajus: 10:35am On Nov 01, 2020
It is possible for a man not to contract HIV after sleeping with HIV positive lady. It is almost impossible for women not to contract it after sleeping with HIV+ men without protection even if the man didn't drop his semen inside. There is something called precum. That carries enough virus to infect a woman. Many men that withdraw only think of semen. I've heard of many cases where men don't contract after sleeping with HIV+ women. There is a guy who slept consistently with HIV+ lady for almost two years and he didn't contract. That's why our women need to be careful. They are prone to infectious diseases more than men because of the wide-area they got. They shouldn't be managing promiscuity in relationships cos STI's will affect them more.

The reason is the way man genital organ is designed. You know men shoot, women receive. So the chance of the female private fluid entering man's little genital hole at one attempt is not very high. Some men are unlucky, just once they have contracted it. Also, sex styles will increase the chance;

Missionary: Low
A lady on top: very high
Doggy: Low
Any position that does not put a lady on top reduces the chances.

This is not a license to start misbehaving cos some men will not have a second chance. Aside, HIV+ is not a death sentence.

kennyflames:
U get luck my bro
But HIV can not only be contracted from sex

There are possible ways of her contracting it

Meanwhile there is no how u would have sex with an infected lady and not be infected

Oga your story no join abi u dey wyne us grin

Yes, PrEP works but you don't want to be filling your body with drugs that could be avoided. Remember every drug has one side effect or the other. Don't overwork your liver especially when it's avoidable. Why not go protection (condom) or abstinence or marriage (one partner) route.
faithful2911:
Congrats!

I now fvck raw because I'm on Prep since last two months. cool

You can get the drug in pharmacy is just 5k, you can also get the drug for free if you have connections otherwise they only give it to health workers.

Goodluck.

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (or PrEP) is when people at risk for HIV take daily medicine to prevent HIV. PrEP can stop HIV from taking hold and spreading throughout your body. When taken daily, PrEP is highly effective for preventing HIV from sex or injection drug use. PrEP is much less effective when it is not taken consistently.
Studies have shown that PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV from sex by about 99% when taken daily. Among people who inject drugs, PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV by at least 74% when taken daily.

emtricitabine/tenofovir (truvada ).

The same drug is also used to prevent HIV.

modified
For those quoting me out of ignorance. There's a difference between PreP and PEP. PreP is 99.9% effective against HIV even couples use it to produce negative babies when one partner is positive.
Also there is a very strong PEP against all bacterial infections.

Oral se.x only carries hypothetical risk(theoretical risk), in reality the risk is almost zero.
Even if you kiss 1000 people you can't contract HIV.

We've neglected the poor for too long. We see them every day on our way to work, church, parties, and clubs. We are all paying the price of silence. I've always said it, when the poor revolt, the people wey no buy go pay.
Let's go back to our ways, let's continue building gigantic Church structures, let's continue riding Lambo on roads battered with potholes, let's order more Champaign. But Guys, don't forget to raise the height of your fences, buy more bulletproof cars, increase your security details cos the next rage will be more brutal if we don't change collectively as a people.
Family › Re: 'I Don't Help Single Mothers' - Reno Omokri by saajus: 11:01am On Oct 26, 2020
Oga Reno, how do you separate deliberate singles mothers from indeliberate ones. Even if it's deliberate, we've all at one point in our lives did something we are not proud of. This is one of the reasons why many women would prefer dying in marriages to getting out. Also, I don't encourage online begging cos many people lie, but there are still a few genuine ones.

How do you know a single mother is paying for data she used to post. There is free wifi in some public places. There are some good friends that could share their hotspots. She can even borrow from her phone service provider.

The problem is that most of our Pastors are not humble. In fact, some critique do reach out to them but they don't get an audience from our GO's, Bishops, and Co. How many Naija Pastors have you seen that will come up to the pulpit and correct some errors in his previous messages. Whereas he has seen the truth.

Base on the video circulating, they are on semi-automatic mode. If you watch the video, the shooting is going tau......tau........ tau. They are pausing, reloading their magazines. I would have turned to Usain Bolt when they even started shooting into the air. According to DJ switch, they started shooting into the air before they face it directly on protesters. Protesters thought they just want to chase people away with tear gas or shot into the air. While they are shooting, some of them are even shouting sit-down, wave your flag. Some are singing National Anthem. Because it's dark, they are not seeing heroes falling.
I warned ppl when I saw a message circulating on social that soldiers cannot shoot anyone waving Nigerian flag. I said these are not normal people.

bro, I'm not defending the soldiers oo
they did a very wrong thing. but if they shot directly at them, don't you think the number of people killed will me more than 200.
I mean, an AK-47 fires 600 rounds per minute

Noted. Do you mean penetrate too? I am specifically on AK that our Police use
Neddstark:
Falling bullets can pierce into the body.
Crime › Re: Where Do Bullets Go When Fired Straight Into The Air? by saajus:
They are captured when they were shooting into the air but they later fired straight to people. If they only shot into the air, nobody will die but falling bullet from AK (150miles/hr) can still cause some injuries but won't penetrate.

If you shot into the air, it will come down after reaching its maximum velocity. It's the same if you shoot straight, the bullet will get tired along the way if it doesn't hit any physical body. AK47 that our Police use can travel 800meters. But, it's maximum effective range is 400meters. After 400meters, the effect will be dropping.

Once you are hearing gunshots, if not crowded go straight down, find cover and start crawling. If it is crowded like the Tues Lekki event and to avoid a stampede, keep finding the nearest space that will allow you to crawl and find a cover asap. Once you are in a safe area, remove all your cloth and check your body or ask someone nearby to check for you. Some people are hit and won't know instantly.

Soldiers always say “You never hear the one that hits you”. The bullet is faster than the speed of sound. So, people are getting hit before they hear it. Once you hear gunshot sound just once, japa.
Crime › Re: Aftermath Of Lekki Shootings & Looting: Lekki Becomes A Shadow Of Itself (Video) by saajus: 11:46am On Oct 23, 2020
That's what happened when you have dumb leaders who can't be humbled to listen to their citizens.

The youths just wanted to see sincerity that the promise of the Govt will be kept and the protest would have ended after 4 or 5 days. Imagine Buhari March with Abuja protesters. Make a very good speech. Fake a story about how his daughter was abused by a SARS officer because his children like to go out sometimes without security details. If you have some sleeky moves as a leader, you will always find your way. I encourage leaders to be genuine but a little diplomacy can help them avoid mayhem.

I love Sowore. He didn't deserve that. The guy was grounded because he asked for revolution. Whether we like it or not, he played some role waking up our youths. This act is also a good sign that this is beyond Sowore. It's good for him. If some youths decide to start blowing Govt buildings, nobody can pinpoint it Sowore. So, it's good that the movement is leaderless for now.

Too much resources sometimes reduce critical thinking.

Our people need to change their attitudes toward single mothers.

We are all part of the problem. Some Landlords won't rent out their houses for single mothers or single ladies. Some men don't want to marry single mothers, whereas, some single mothers mileage is far better than so called single ladies. That's why most of them are dying there.

As much as I acknowledge rapture, I don't think we should be scaring people with that. This new stubborn, intelligent generation of guys are not scared of an event that people have been waiting for almost 2000 years. You know some disciples thought it would happen during their time.

There has never been a very peaceful world, and I doubt it will happen. Life is a cycle, do your best, pass the baton, and die. Hurricanes, shooting, wildfires, terrorism, weapon testing have always been around. Some are natural. Our reckless behaviors cause some. Those events are also adapting to human development. Before it was armour, spear, and horses. Now it is war planes, missiles, and machine guns. Why not tell people that their rapture, which is death, can happen in the next hour. Some people say goodnight, and they won't wake up. Some people just want to pick groceries nearby, but that's their end. Some people just went to the gym to exercise, but they won't return. People should be ready all the time.

That's why I don't like the idea of burying the dead at home. What's the purpose of cementary. All states must make laws against that.

If the land is in a choice area, develop the land. If the money realize from half plot can develop the other half plot, go for that option. That grave might still be a clog in the wheel if you want to sell half. If it is, exhume it and relocate. Rental property is a great asset, tell your sister to think more about the future.
