Family › Re: Is It Right For My Niece's Boyfriend To Visit Her In My House? by saajus: 1:47am On Dec 26, 2020
Don't be angry. Just talk to her about life. She has already started, all you can do to help now is advice. Just laugh with her, form a similar story about your past that will make her relax to talk to you. Even if you are not a bad guy when you are at that age, just cook a story. After that, advise her about sex. Let her know how her moves now can affect her future. Don't tell her not to have boyfriend cos she has started already.
Tell her the kind of guys she should be rolling with - Cook a story about how a lady was unknowingly dating a cultist and she was killed by a rival gang one night that she slept over in his house.
Tell her about heartbreaks - Cook a story of a lady friend of yours that ran mad after a heartbreak and she couldn't continue school.
Tell her about STI's - Cook a story about how a strong Christian sister you know got HIV through her first sexual intercourse.

Right now, you want to be her best friend, not uncle. After leaving, make sure you keep good contact with her and always advice her. Every time you call her, ask how many boyfriends she has now. Be her friend, she will trust you.

Nigerians are the easiest to defraud. Our greed is killing us. If I start the same program today, many dingbats will still invest. They've been using forex to dupe Naija from time immemorial. If I can remember, as far back as 2006.

Forex is not a child's play. I had my first training in 2005 with an America returnee in Ibadan. The days of Marketiva, FXCM, Alpari, and Fxsol. Being successful while trading your money does not mean you will be successful when you are trading people's money. Guys, pls read the rise and fall of a great Fx trader call Jay Lakhani. Jay was doing well when he was trading for himself, so his performance history attracted an organization. He got a contract to trade with $10m capital. His failure started from there. He said his emotions changed. Some trade that he will leave to overturn in his favour when he was trading his small account, he can't do it any longer when he was using a large amount of money to trade. He failed woefully. He later bounced back and wrote several books on Forex Psychology.

I'm tired of hearing this kind of news. Don't give your money to anyone, spend time to learn, don't be lazy, take the risk by yourself. If you fail, you fail. RIP boy.
Celebrities › Re: Afrocandy: JT Tom West Shot Dead On A Movie Set, He Didn't Die In Car Accident by saajus: 10:18am On Dec 22, 2020
You are right. Sometimes, if I want to complain about the industry, I remember they achieve everything they got today with zero help from the Govt. No security, bad roads, area boys extortions, no access to loans, can't access Govt facilities for filming. For Govt to give them permission to film in our airport, na wahala. Sometimes, movies want to include the real people, that's why they want to use the real facilities. If you have access, it's even difficult in Nigeria because many are jobless. Our people will wait and be starring cos they have nothing tangible to do with their time.

I know what you mean about actresses richer than actors. Trust me, the majority of them does not involve in shady things. Our actresses are more humble than our actors. Go to Instagram and see those ladies begging people to buy products from them. Whereas, our actors are forming big boys by showing us champagne and club vibing all the time. Those ladies are wiser. They use their influence to sell products when they are reigning.

I appreciate the industry but there is room for improvement. I have seen a lot of improvement in recent years. If they can find ways to stop piracy and be sure of a good return on investment, I am very sure they will be taking the risk by investing a lot of money in their movies.

naijadrivablog:
Nollywood sef. Afrocondom, sorry Afrocandy may be right after all.

Even with their knock out gun shot, they forgot bullet on the gun that killed JT sad

They should learn from Hollywood.

Areas of Improvement in Nollywood/Kannywood/Yorubawood(sorry, I forgot what they are called):
1. An industry where actresses are successful than 90% of actors. I know many actors in Abuja that are just managing life but the actresses are buying exotic cars, travelling abroad and building houses. Are actresses paid more than Actorshuh (Pretending I don't know what else they do).

2. Always writing scripts along "King, Prince, Kingdom" lines. Watch 1000 movies and most are along that story line. Pls, where is the creativity. How many real life kings do we have in Nigeria? Nigeria is about 200million people with less than 3000 kings, Emirs, Obas, etc, so why are the movies centered on "kingdoms"huh

3. Always bringing in diabolic depictions in movies. Please, Africans have other aspects of life. (Gbonkan just left this group).

4. Always using costumes that don't depict our way of dressingsad

5. Shooting a full season (1-5) in one or two days, thereby breeding repeating scenes, poor editing, irrevant, delayed scenes (showing us when a character treks from her house in the village to Lagos tongue)

6. Always repeating locations. Make una de try de redesign the locations small. I know the Government is not helping but since you have built that successful industry, be more creative.

7. Why the disparity in nomenclature of Nigerian movie industry? Why Kannywood, Cally wood (CrossRiver own), Nollywood, etchuh

8. Why is there no " centralised shooting location in Nigeria " (HQ of movie industry, if you like)?

9. Why are the bodies (AGN, etc) always fighting themselves, even going the "extra mile" to do so?

10. Why no contributory fund to cater for ailing actors?

In as much as we are better than the movie industry of most countries as well as one of the biggest in the world, our creative industry (movie makers) should upgrade. I know they face a lot of challenges but they will overcome.

Many strategies are Good on paper. Trade this method for 6 months and show us your trade spreadsheet.

You have to factor in many conditions. First, you have to cover your 2-4p of spread before you target your 1pip. Sometimes the spread could be higher if it's during a volatile period like Economic News or Political news. I have seen situation when you will enter a trade and it will start going against you immediately. It won't come back to starting position for a while. Imagine you experience such situation once a week. That will wipe out the 4 pips you've made that week.

Also, your calculation 2kUSD @ standard lot on 1pip per day is $220 - $230 per month (22-23 days). I use $10/standard pip cos I assume you are trading pair like EUR/USD or GBP/USD. Other pairs are not even $10/pip.

showafrica:
2KUSD capital @ 1.00 is the game. 200usd is for 0.01. 1k usd is for 0.05. Bro 1 pip is simple, start by tokyo time, watch the trend and place your trade. However, 0.01 for 100usd and 1.00 for 1k is still good to go and thats 22% profit monthly.

Sports › Re: Are Non-african Professional Footballers Really Innocent Of Age Fraud? by saajus:
Football is different from football. If you play competitive football for 3 years, it's like playing for 10 years on the streets. How many street soccer do people trackback, slide tackle, and play like their lives depend on the game. How many km do you cover per street game? Do we even play street games on the standard pitch dimension?

In competitive football, you will pull muscles, break bones, pick diverse injuries. In the long run, those wear and tear will have huge effects on your body. According to research, football players start declining when they are 30. Remember, there are always exceptions, like Messi, Zlatan, Ronaldo, and many defenders. Central defenders (not LB or RB) and Goalies last longer because they don't run like midfielders and forwards.. 30yr old and above players have small values and some clubs won't give them long term contracts. Arsenal thought Chelsea is stupid not to give Willian a 3-yr contract. Now, they know why. The guy will be unsellable and they will pay him in full even if he's no longer contributing anything reasonable to their team.

Most of our shining stars in under 17 or under 20 that we always thought we kill it in the world of football don't last for 5yrs because they are already in their mid or late 20's when they represent.

creolehunt:
Lol. They all lie about their age, whether African, Asian or European. Just very few of them are innocent of this. Come to my street and see 40yr old men playing almost every evening. Despite the rough tackles and bruises.

Good analysis. I think Fx is a better option, Crypto is too volatile. Sometimes Bitcoin against USD loses 20% of its value in just a single day. If you must trade Crypto, trade crypto against crypto not against USD. Don't trust many Naija guys telling you they are trading crypto. Na cover-up. Some of them are into fraud. They are converting their victims CC to Crypto.

MY INVESTMENT EXPERIENCE THIS YEAR 2020

50% Capital - Low risk but at least my capital is safe.
Piggyvest use to give 10% p.a but now gives 8% p.a.

30% capital- Mid Risk
1 diversified into about 2 agro techs.

Farmcrowdy- so far so good. payment to be next year
Agropartnerships - so far so good. payment next year

20% capital - high risks

Quintessential: Gotten paid twice with no stress. Highly recommended. Let me know if you interested.

MBA - I joined July offline so my Nov payment was delayed. Got paid 3/6.
-

Things I'm looking forward to next year 2021

Probably do more of high risk investment cause have grown my risk appetite. Will definitely continue with piggyvest and Agropatnership cause they have been very reliable and almost risk free.

All my savings will be in stable coin like USDT so I can beat inflation.

I'm looking to invest more in Quintessential and TonsoElite cause of the compound interest.

I will avoid MBA moving forward until they're very much stable.

Finally, I will start learning cryptotradimg instead of Forex. E get why....

Investment › Re: Share Your Investment Mistakes Of 2020, Lessons and plans for 2021 by saajus: 1:01pm On Dec 16, 2020
How can you make 22% with just 1pip daily? A standard lot is $8-$10. Assuming the currency pair you are trading is $10/pip, for 22 working days, that's $220. A good Fx money manager won't trade a standard account with capital less than $10k. Experience guys won't expose more than 1 or 2% of their account to trade. As you can gain 1pip per day, you can also lose 1pip per day.
showafrica:
MBA is people's nightmare this 2020. As they survived Coro everyone trusted them, hopefully they will make profit and settle everyone gradually. This is the time they need to prove they are into forex trading. There will be no more new investors so, they should trade the forex and pay everybody otherwise, they are scammers.

The thing opened my eye self... All you need to make 22% profit monthly from forex is just 1 pip daily from EURUSD @ 1.00 lot. Simple thing that is 95% certain... Na wao

Do you trust the poor guy? It is one thing that you love him, it's another thing for him to love you as you love him. Verify this before you go with the poor guy that you love. Also, make sure he's not humble because of poverty. Also, make sure he has a dream. Some people are poor and lazy. Make sure he's making moves to deliver himself from poverty. Like, trying new biz ideas, making connections that could land him a job, or attempting to check out of the country, etc.

I don't know what you guys call a wedding. For me, I can use 50k Naira to do a wedding. I won't feed the public. Go for Court wedding and continue your life. Before the wedding, you guys will need comfortable accommodation and at least a source of income that can take care of you, him and a child.

The game is still two months away. Many things might change positively or negatively for either team. Chelsea might gel better and be very clinical.
Remember when Chelsea got Bayern last December, we thought it would be a balance draw cos Bayern was struggling. They are in 4th position in the Bundesliga. Unfortunately for us, they got a new manager and that changed the tide for them. I watched Atletico last 4 games, they are very beatable.

Bamz:
FL' s team is too naive to face an experienced Athleti side. I'm a Chelsea fan and I don't see us getting through except through a tactical brilliance from FL. With FL, you just never know what to expect. I see Chelsea having a lot of possession but not being clinical, however, anything can happen in football. Fingers crossed.

Did you say N2500? That's a ridiculus price. Op said Island, not Ajegunle or Ajagbandi. If Ikoyi, Op can't charge less than N30k/hr. If other Island areas, the Op can't charge less than N15k/hr
payloader:
Do it. Clients do massage every single day, and the charge is per massage. The least amount is N2500.00. Imagine having over 20 clients, times 2500, daily? 2500x20=N50000. Just arrange handsome male, and beautiful female massagers, discuss percentage with him/her, and presto, business don start. Put ACs and plasma inside the reception hall and cool, ambient jazz music and plasma inside the massage rooms. Also include sauna. It won't be long before celebs, big business men, women and politicians, start patronizing you big time. Body pain and stress is an ever present issue with these class of people.

To be honest, massage centres make a lot of money on the Island but you might have to compromise professionalism in some instances. Your masseuse may be rendering some additional unprofessional services which you be aware of but technically ignore if you want booming biz.

Please, the first step is to see a Counsellor. A trained professional Counsellor, not your Pastor or Imam o. Open up to the Counsellor. Tell the Counsellor everything on your mind. The Counsellor may refer you to a psychologist if necessary. Cos you can't pull yourself away from some depression especially when suicidal thought has been surfacing. You might need some drugs and therapy

After consulting a Counsellor, you can also go the faith route (spiritual). Open up to your Pastor if you can trust him. Please, if you are tired, leave the marriage instead of killing yourself. If your marriage is the main trigger of your depression, leaving may be the best option. Document all your findings so that the Court will see reasons to grant you custody of your children cos I think you love them so much.

Ratedgang:
ok boss but let me give a little insight. Golf courses are built according to terrains. All courses are not and can never be the same. I have played golf courses around the world. Some leave the course rough till 200 or 150 meters to the green. If you go to smoking hills now at Illara mukin you’ll know what I’m saying. I was at the opening of the Tukur Burutai golf course opening last weekend at Abuja and it’s not looking fantastic as you’ll think. What matters is the watering and maintenance of the greens. For now you can only get a lush green course in the south cos it’s still raining. By January you’ll meet an entire dry grass. So it follows time and seasons.

I got you. I am not a golfer but, I know there are several ways to keep your grass green even during the dry season. There is no excuse for average. If they don't know how to do it, they should research how other places with similar weather are doing it. Will UAE with similar weather give weather excuse for a poor looking golf course grass. If they've exhausted their minds and can't make natural grass look good in the dry season, why not go turf.

Ratedgang:
lol. If you’re a golfer you’ll know that during dry seasons all golf courses across the country gets dry but all the greens are being maintained for putt outs.
