You be wise guy, my Brother. Imagine if you can do strong marketing and acquire just 20 - 30 Churches in Nigeria. Thank God, most of our Churches are rich.
Lordpeckxy:
You know I made 100k every 3 - 4months from the app I built for my church, they don't know really, it was a free app, app is not even hosted but ads running inside, brings me the money, its a good thing when you can create something a community can benefit from, when the community benefits, you benefits as well...
Programming › Re: Wht Is CSS Very Complicating...!!!!!!!!!! by saajus: 1:39pm On Nov 18, 2020
I know many people here might say CSS is simple. Yes, I think so. Sometimes I discovered some people find things that seem easy, difficult and the ones that seem difficult, easy. You may try Javascript, Python, PHP and be killing things there.
Remember, there are different areas of programming or computing in general. Attempt many and you will naturally discover your area of strength. Like myself, HTML, CSS, graphics and Co don't fascinate me. I can barely combine two colours to look good, that's why I left website interface development for other people. I fascinate the backend better like database, system designs for programmers, algorithms and program optimization. If you see an end product, different people handle different parts.
Programming › Re: The Most Financially Rewarding Areas In Programing. by saajus:
It is a great question. I think there are a lot of opportunities in Mobile development. Many organization in Nigeria has not tapped into that. I still discover very low percentages of Churches have mobile apps while over 90% of their members are using smartphones. Mobile apps are easy to code. There are many free advance codes online to help jumpstart the career. Many schools, businesses don't have apps too.
Also, as you know web applications development will forever be hotcake. Most companies want people to easily access their applications through the web.

To be honest, all programming areas inter-twine. If you can code, you can code. You will be learning new skills every day.

Business › Re: Cosmas Maduka: I Used Rubber Band To Tie & Hold My Phone - Coscahris Motors CEO by saajus:
It's a choice. In as much as I don't believe in high luxury, there are some things I won't do in the name of saving cost. A Billionaire using rubber to hold his phone. Thank God for his wife. I guess his business does not require the use of technology or he has employed enough people to do everything for him.

Nigerians, beware of motivational speakers. If you can afford a good phone, go for it. For people that know the use, it's an investment. You can store a whole library on your phone. As bad as electricity is in Nigeria, with 3 good power banks, you can study like a mad man for one week without electricity. You can code on your phone. You can use Ms word, excel on your phone. You can remotely access your home laptop/PC on your phone. You can connect your phone to monitor to make the screen bigger. Your phone can do a lot.

Family › Re: Wife's Action Without Husband's Notice by saajus:
Oga, if this is the first time she's doing that, gently iron it out with her. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. The problem is maybe you scare your wife too much, and she's afraid to tell you cos you may not agree with her to use the family car. You have to change if you are a type that always carries fire on your head at home like Sango. Make your wife and children your friends so that they can tell you anything. Your presence should command respect, not fear.
Calm down and correct her in love. Let her know she can always trust your judgements.
Politics › Re: Lagos Prominent Indigenes Seek End To NURTW Activities by saajus: 11:42am On Nov 15, 2020
I've been saying this for so long. NURTW breeds criminals. Most of the core criminals in Lagos have their roots in NURTW. Lagos state that used to be classy in the 70s and 80s has turned to a hub of criminals. Great Isale Eko is now a shadow of itself. The real Lagosians must wake and not allow Tinubu to finish that state. Ibadan is far safer than Lagos after Seyi Makinde clamped the wings of those guys.
Lagos Govt can give train them and give them jobs. Maybe become BRT drivers or upcoming Lagos light-rail drivers.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Biden Inches Nearer To Victory As Trump Launches Lawsuit Blitz To Slow Him Down by saajus:
Who called Arizona for Biden when there are still over 400k votes to count. Anyways, Biden will still win. Trump should start packing his stuff. Instead of filing lawsuits up and down, he should be grateful for the chance God gave someone like him to lead America for 4 years.

American youths too should start getting involve in politics. Imagine Biden does 8 years, he will be American President till 85. Pelosi is 80. Mitch McConnell 78. Thank God, they have smart elders. Imagine if they are unlucky like us.

How? It makes the race more competitive but it's still very much open. Biden is doing well. At least he has flipped Arizona and a Congressional District. Some people are expecting a blow out cos of those stupid poll numbers. Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin will determine the winner. Let's keep watching them.

Those polls companies need to fix their systems. They are getting figures inflated. I never thought it will be this close. I thought Biden will take Florida and that will immediately be the end of the road for Trump.

Guyman02:
I pity the guys at CNN who have been claiming that Biden is leading by 98% in the polls, they are losing their minds as the results filter in, I can feel their exasperation in the studios

RIP, Doctor. COVID 19 still dey o. It's just God that is helping Africa. Many countries in Europe will shut down again. America may have to shut down again too cos their hospitals are getting filled up. Trump is hiding a lot of information about recent COVID-19 development because of his selfish re-election.
Not all well-built people have a strong immune system and not all fat people have a bad immune system. Although too much fat can trigger something else, it's not encouraged.
