I know the sorry states of those roads before the GEJ administration. Okigwe-PHC was a TOTAL eye sour, Jalingo-Wukari road was simply bandit country particularly close to Wukari. TERRIBLE was the only word I could describe the Jalingo-Numan-Yola road, Gboko-Otukpo road- pathetic, and every Cross-Riveian who have plied the Okoja-Ikom road can attest to how terrible it wAs. Overall, a trip from Jalingo-PHC took me over 12 solid-painful-backbreaking hours on a very good day. But everything changed in the first quarter of this year, 2013. Thanks to GEJ my last trip took almost half its time and roads were SMOOTH.
