Politics › Re: Why So Much Emphasis On The Niger Delta And Boro? by sageb: 10:38pm On Jun 15, 2021 |
Afriifa: I've been observing with keen interests, how some propaganda mercenaries are creating threads incessantly about the Niger-Delta ethnic nationalities, particularly the Ijaws, with malicious attempts to undermine their disposition on the 'Biafra' discourse. I've assessed so many derogatory comments made against the Niger Delta people on this faceless forum. I have also evaluated the 'divide and rule' antics demonstrated by Biafra promulgators on this forum as they try to pitch other ethnic nationalities in the Niger Delta against the Ijaws in their act of desperation. Finally, I've also acknowledge their collective efforts in distorting truths that underscores their role in Boro's trial as a Niger Delta revolutionist. Also, in their quest to re-write history, I've also examined their attempts in ridiculing Boro's legacies as a Niger Deltan, and as a National hero as well as to the Ijaw People. Thus, I have the following submission. i. You all need to acknowledge that the Niger Delta (South-South) People are politically and economically conscious of their position in Nigeria, and that includes Biafra, as such, we don't appreciate you telling us what is best for us. We Know What's Best for Our Interest. ii. Secondly, we are conscious of our history, and we are not some lost tribe of Jew. Thus, your attempts to re-write our histories to advance your ethnic interests in the South-South is well noticed. Have some decorum. You can't be enforcing your own version people's history on them. iii. The treacherous and swindling nature of the average Igbo man is duly acknowledged by all ethnic nationalities in the Niger Delta. No amount of romantic histories written by you is going to salvage that. Its an Igbo syndrome, and like a virus that has no cure, the result is there for everyone to see. iv. Insulting the Ijaw people by calling them lazy, ogogoro drinkers, i.e labeling them all sort of derogatory terms and creating one thread here and there to rubbish Boro's legacies because of their opposing views only underscores your desperation. v. The Niger Delta (South-South) people have all the resources to vie for a separate republic of their own, either collectively as one or seperately as two-three countries as they deem necessary. Respect that! You are not UN. Stop asking for their CV! vi. You are in no moral, economic, political or intellectual position to tell us what to do, as Niger Deltans. Our name is of no meaning, leave it! Now my questions; i. If Boro was used by the caliphate and killed, who was then using Iguiyi Ironsi? And any story about his dishonourable death? ii. If Ojukwu who cowardly scrammed after leading millions to death could be celebrated as a Biafran Hero despite coming back to romance with the same people he fought against; had his former ranks restored to him, retired as a Nigerian Army, receiving pensions, and concentrated his biggest investment in the same north. Why so much emphasis on Boro and how the Ijaws celebrates him as a Hero? lucidly said Binaowei ndi potopoto will never learn |

adonis89: Ekpeye has nothing to do with Izon. They are Ahoada east. Ahoada west are Izon kinsmen. There is no Igbo speaking ppl in Bayelsa. Ppl in Sagbama speak Ijaw and some part Isoko which are d Ofoni ppl. Ekeremor, Southern Ijaw, Kolokuma Opokuma, they all speak Ijaw. Brass and Nembe speak light Ijaw which sounds like Okirika and Kalabari. Ogbia people speak Ogbia language with little similarities of Ijaw language. Yenagoa which are Epie ppl speak Epie language which sounds like Engenni . so no Igbo speaking ppl in Bayelsa. Though I support IPOB as an Ijaw man it is so funny for someone to create a thread linking Bayelsa with Igbo Delusion of grandeur |

Igboid: Osinakachukwu Ideozu no try if that is the truth. Maka why should he step down nah
Yes, Ekpeye people are laid back.
I like your Ogbumadube masquerade. Very interesting masquerade. I haven't seen it live though. Next time I would visit Ekpeye I would time my visit to your masquerade season. Which town in Ekpeye are you from?
Abua/Odual people are supposed to be Edoid speakers and independent minority group, like the Engenni and Udekeme (Degema). All these people speak distinct Edoid languages, yet somehow, Ijaws have used the lure of crude oil politics (oil protection deals contract) that they are in charge of to attract them into joining INC and IYC, thereby swelling Ijaw numbers.
What do your Abua/Odual friends feel about their newly acquired Ijaw political tag? this your claim is false osinachukwu did not step down. Apc lost in. their bid to contest the election in Rivers State via Supreme Court ruling Abua/odual.is an Ijaw LGA in Rivers state there are two Ijaw senators from Rivers State in. the national Assembly e. g George Sekibo and Betty. pocohantas: There is nobody without someone who wants them. Even if you are disabled, if you join a group of your fellow disabled people, you will see the one that likes you. Let alone a complete human.
People saying it applies to ladies are just being s****. When a lady says she hasn’t seen husband, it is not that she has never been approached by a man for relationship/marriage. It is because she hasn’t been approached by the one she desires. If she goes to site where boys are carrying block, she will definitely see one.
So if at all you find yourself in this situation, what some ladies do (and have been doing) is to marry the available. Whether that works for them is not my business. poco on the beat |

This was where I did my Brain Surgery after a ghastly motor accident in Akwa Ibom where the bike guy died. I hit my head on the coal tar and my skull cracked into the brain. I survived because of their topnotch medical facilities. One of the best in Africa. God bless our former Governor, Barr. Godswill Obot Akpabio. Maybe I would have kicked the bucket if I was taken to normal federal medical center.
Their nurses behaves as if you are in overseas hospital. Nobody yells at a patient. My bed even had a remote control... What an experience. thank God for your life |

richmond500: Good day guys, the question is very direct, why are most of u Nigerians still poor considering the fact that u are in a country where there are opportunities even on the street and u can easily find something legal to do and start making that money even without a certificate. Why are people poor in such a Greenland like Nigeria
So what's makes u to remain poor?
Lalasticlala mynd44 Dominique are you in port Harcourt ? share your strategy to others richmond500: I am just going to answer this two question with one answer since it is actually the only sensible comments so far.
When I started life, I never had any money, all I have was my cellphone, I was squatting with my brother who does photo editing on and enlargement of pictures, I don't know how to do it so I decide to advertise his business by tagging rich and powerful men in the society, actually non of them got my time but I didn't stop, I was always tagging them, then I got this business mogul in Rivers state who replied me after almost 2years of always tagging him, he gave me some of his family pictures and I gave it to the person that does the editing and add my own commission, that's where I got my first client, he was impressed and through him, I got many more and owned my little business here in ptown, I never started with money.
I only look for people that has the problem and also those that have the solution, then I link them up and the money just flow somehow. Well I didn't stop after two or three trials, I tag them like 2times a day for 365days, and I had to tag like 20person, that's almost 20,000 trials, I am not extremely rich but I'm comfortable and have learnt never to blame circumstances, so if u check most of my comments, I never blame the govt cos I believe irrespective of the circumstance, I'll still flourish richmond500: Good day guys, the question is very direct, why are most of u Nigerians still poor considering the fact that u are in a country where there are opportunities even on the street and u can easily find something legal to do and start making that money even without a certificate. mrsage: I travelled to PH by road in February this year. From Lagos and back to Lagos.
My opinion
People travel daily. It's not a death sentence.
Go with any of the recognised transport companies like GIG, Libra, GUO etc
Don't travel at night. Depart Lagos in the morning so you arrive PH before evening. My trip from Lagos to PH took 12 hrs. We departed Lagos at 6.30am.
Have extra cash for any unforseen situation.
Try and avoid late night movement within PH as well.
Air fares are not smiling, it's beyond the reach of so many people.
Lagos to PH by road is about 10-12k. By air probably in the range of 30k or thereabout.
For me I love road trips.
Go in peace. @op.this is a good advice |
