Ace Events: Funny enough everyone is just saying their story, our government is a very corrupt 1 and every year trillions are shared by the so called leaders @ d top......if jonathan cared about the future of this country we won't even have stayed long at home.....yet we call our selves the giant of africa...giant of what....if jona had a child in 1 of the public universities won't he have found a way to get the strike matter settled.....but he doesn't.......As for ASUU they are just fighting for their right, what do you expect them to do after so many denials by the government...............the government should settle them with whatever they want if we don't want another strike by next year, next month..........even if they aint going to repair our infrastures to their deteriment let them have it.....................we are more than that in this country.......they should pay them their 4months salaries too.......have you taught of other universities that aren't as rich as unilag unilorin and the others.........let change start from nowYou are talking through your a s s. |
mvem: ..Who makes up the NUC....The commission picks professors from various Universities to oversee accreditationThe will pick up the professors who resume work an professors in schools that didn't go on strike. |
Kaydem: i'm not here to trade word with anyone, but i've got this feeling of asking our striking lecturers some few questions....Lol But they cannot, unfortunately, most of the relevent point you listed above are not captured in the demands of our selfish lecturers. |
No time for dulling.... ![]()

Iaz93: What truth are you talking about? Tell me!Pay no attention to that lunatic. He obviously sold his folks for a token to be wherever he is, from his rhetoric, you can infer that he is certifiable, a lunatic. I'm sure he was laid off from the street cleaning job he is into so he can take his herbs and recuperate. He doesn't need convictions now, all he need are his herbs. |
Schmurk. ![]() |
Phinity318: What kinda miracle? Do u want to graduate nd be called an "Half baked graduate".by thesame cabals who are refusing us quality education!.....No I support ASUU .Aluta continuaLol What is this one talking about? The only ALUTA I see here is from students who want to go back to school and their struggle is being garroted by an extremist and terrorist like group called ASUU. Selfish gray-headed bas.t.ards!!! |

I won't trade words with you, not again, I don't discuss with folks whose IQ digits can be rubbed together to start a fire. |
taharqa: Clears throat. I just watched the Min of Education on NTA 4 O'Clock News and hv now got the NEW DEMANDS of ASUU (at least according to Govt): 1. ASUU wants the Govt to find and pay d sum of #200bn to an Account in d Central Bank WITHIN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS, which is supposed to be meant as d Infrastructural Fund Commitment FOR NEXT YEAR 2014 (yea, you heard me right- #200bn in 2 weeks at once for 2014, even when d 2014 budget hasn't been passed); 2. That Govt should RENEGOTIATE the 2009 Agreement with them BEFORE (?) they call-off the strike (that's right: Another round of Negotiations after you just had a 13 hours meetings with d President himself, a renegotiation that may possibly bring up other disagreements and so may end in weeks or even months); 3. That d Attorney-General should sign the Letter, not d Permanent Secretary (I don't personali see anytin wrong with this Condition sha). Then, I also read that ASUU is asking d FG to pay them for d 3-4months they didn't work; but not just that, they insisted that Govt should pay them this money BEFORE they call of the strike and that it must be as a LUMP sum!! All these Ridiculous Conditions even after a Majority of yr Lecturers/Congresses already voted and asked you to call-off d Strike!!!!..... And later someone wud tell me that POLITICS has not entered d matterThat's it my brother. They need to be shown the exit door. |
imauri: Oboy! u really need that banana LOLYea! I need to export it to your bullies wherever it is you are hiding, your obsession with banana might be because you've received repeated racial slur. Quite frankly, I hate exchanging words with ni ars who have low self esteem. ***here is your banana, I can only imagine the rhapsody with which you want to take it off me*** Schmurk. |
imauri: obviously ur so blinded by rage that u cannot even read education will be saved FOREVER if people like you just, just join the police force... then again we wont be safe because there is nothing worse than foolishness personified... and armed....lol... then again i cannot ask you to be what u are not(inteligent) ...lolWhat point have you made Mr lecturer? You left apposite arguments on the thread to attack a debater? Argumentum ad hominem. This is the reason why I beg for the sack of your likes. Foolish dumb and hapless fucktards parading as lecturers. Per.verts like you and FAGgae need to be shown the exit door from our ivory towers. |
omobajohn58: y are u in a hurry to go back to ur rotten universityWe are in a hurry to go back because the perpetrators of most of the rot we see on campuses will soon be sacked. With the amount FG has pumped into our schools and with the sack of pant obsessed lecturers, our schools will wear a new outlook. Thank you or should I say thank them, we all see how they are fighting for our employability, is it by earned allowance? Is it by demanding for salaries when they did not work? Is it by escalating the retirement age of below par lecturers with decrepit ideas? Is it by going on a 5 month strike without evincing any remorse about it? I didn't hear ASUU fighting student harassment, I didn't hear them talking about molestation of female student in the hands of ram-like lecturers, I didn't hear them frowning at the plagiarisms from their colleagues. ASUU have metamorphosed into a terrorist set that have held our schools hostage. Little wonder why Boko Haram attacks on schools stopped when ASUU started terrorizing our ivory towers. All I see are extremist suya sellers making tall and selfish demands. |
imauri: IN THIS PART OF THE WORLD, EMPLOYMENT IS NOT BASED ON CONNECTIONs OR PANTY COLORS..lol, but on sheer hard work and experience..... something u know nothing of... lol obviously..... more reasons y ur future remains the same(Sure P)... like i said UNLESS u grow some brain.... can you? can you grow some brain.. lol..... ps u might want to look at you chat history and trace sources of frustration....lol, after all im not the one at home, lacking pocket money....lolLol @ SURE P, that's where your future will be if you don't turn up to work by Dec 4th. I have no business with SURE P, since you've gone through my chat history, (which shows how indolent and jobless you are) you should know I will never look at that front, not for once. I laugh when you talk about sheer hard work, if you were hard working, you won't be broke asking for remuneration for months you spent playing the terrorist and holding our education hostage. Jobless pant seeking dafts like you will be trimmed from our universities. I would have ask you to use your brain but what you have inside your skull are ladies undies. I'll rather tell you they need washing as you have polluted this thread with its foul smell. |
3kay945: Bros, leave the kids on nairaland alone, they re learners.. Let me tell you where the new staffs will come from, we have some lecturers with brains in your ranks, obviously, you are not in that subset, jellybeans packed skulls like you will be trimmed out of the system, those lecturers who are tired of the sit at home will show up, trust me they will and other competent unemployed graduates will take your place. Lazy a s s. |
Nauttyprof: Na wa o... why nau?I'm smh for you. So your intentions is to hold our school hostage for a year? This is not Ghana, and it won't work. Fail to show up on 4th of December at your own peril. Lazy a s s. |
lymelyte: So you are here again to spit out what your dead brain cells told you to abi?.. now I see,you are nothing but a shameless ape trying to justify your ignorance. I would ask how old you are, but I know you can't count that high.Lol 1,000,000, Likes. You just burst his oedematous ego. |
imauri: At this rate no one will delay you from ur Very bleak future... lets see how it goes> you laugh at asuus determination to secure your future , you resume, you graduate and serve and after that u join sure p because even those with foreign masters degrees are yet to break it... and the value of your degreeYou are speaking out of frustration, they will soon sack your lazy a s s and competent people who won't ask for girls pant before doing their job will be employed. |
jerrytosin: You can know me by searching for me on facebook by typing WHY? |
Roeek: Do u knw since wen Uniabuja av closd down. dey posted sme of deir lecturers to oda unis as a result of d decay. If dey pull out nobody cares as long as unis lik UI wu av nt even written postutme ar still on strikeWhat is this one talking about? Obviously, you are one of those useless ASUU lecturers with Jellybeans in their skull or a beneficiary of their terrorist style strikes. Unibuja have staffs, more than enough as a matter of fact, they have students, more than enough also. If you are in doubt, call my attention for appropriate links that will show you out of your ignorance. In case you are not in the know, UI have written PUTME much to your derision, so I guess you and Fagae can go on plan B, wear bomb Jackets and fight Nigeria's education, your strikes have failed. You are a schmurk. |
Hahahahahahaha ASUU is the new terrorist organization in our midst. How can an anterograde association of erudites close centers of learning for more than 4 months without remorse? Very unfortunate GEJ has to resort to this but I am in full support of this. ThankGod. Faggae is an extremist, I'm sure many qualified staffs who want to change base will take this offer. I spit on ASUU, they are a disgrace. |

RoyPCain: @sakaguchi: Yes, I am crying. I cry when there is injustice even when it is against what i have no vested interested. Islam is my way. if a muslim suffers anywhere, it is part of me that suffers. i am also a nigeria. when a nigerian goes through difficulty anywhere, i am going through the difficulty with him/her. i am a human being. any injustice on any human is also on me. I am not without a purpose. Yes, I am crying. Crying for the disaster that may afflict the new age Pharaoh for shooing away what protects it from disaster. have you seen the condition of Ariel Sharon? i feel for him now that he is humiliated. Yes. It is nice for man to cry. you should try it sometimes before you are forced to cry.You don't even know how to quote a simple post. |
Nosgidi: BREAKING NEWS:You are a BIG fool. |
ASUU should be disbanded, this is a matter of urgency. They are a problem to themselves and the nation at large, an association that scores itself high by how long a strike it has embarked on is a clog to any progressive wheel. Imagine asking for pay in months which they did not teach, was that why they embarked on this evil protracted strike? In civilized countries, people don't do such, since ASUU were ready to stay at home for years until government give the necessary face lift to our universities, they should equally be ready to bear the brunt of the challenges. No work no pay. They didn't hear that statement today, it was made clear to them at the beginning of their strike. If ASUU must be paid because the strike wasn't their fault, then students must be awarded 5.0 GP because the strike is not our fault either. FG should disband the union, make it criminal for them to have a national body, each school may have an ASUU if they so desire, and while they are at it, our universities does not belong to ASUU alone, the committee of pro chancellors, association of chancellors, SSANU, NASU, NAAT, NANS, FG and the Nigerian people are all stake holders. All the associations above want to see our schools open except ASUU, since new conditions are been raised, government should put out her own conditions too; no lecturer should be allowed to embark on any form of strike, any lecturer or group of lecturers who renege on that agreement will be fired. The schools should be opened by force, our universities have been high jacked by two terrorist and extremist groups, ASUU and Boko Haram, we must collect it from them. |
Ezedon: They really need to reopen, our girls are getting pregnants at homeWho be our girls again na? ![]() Abi we dey share babes ni? Any girl that is pregnant now would have gotten pregnant in school. Dem never see anything! In school, lecturers go prick them, boyfriends go yansh dem, assistant boyfriends go yansh dem, and finally sugar daddies will bang them. “I get tired anytime I hear talks that ASUU has made our girls pregnant." This ASUU who keeps yanshing all our girls must be a BAD guy. . ![]() |
Whoever is facing FUTminna should please beat them like toddlers.... By the way, all the best to Futmx reps. |
tryxe: I think now is d fed gov dat is delaying, they should pay den there withheld salaries, or has dat money been sharedWhy should FG pay them? Did they do any work during the span of the strike? No work no pay. If they are fighting and sacrificing to make our schools better, they should bear the brunt. Students have been at home for the past 5months, will ASUU give all of us a GP of 5.0? No school, no grade for the students. No work, no pay for the staffs. Shikena! |
Elxandre: Sakaguchi,Sorry about that, many of us use small screen phones to type, it could happen to anybody, right now, it is happening to you. You keep ranting about JAMB rejects. But I would let you know that i crossed the post UTME pass mark only to be denied admission. Instead people who werent even close to the cut off mark were admitted, thanks to their lecturer uncles and sacks of cash!Sorry about that, getting the pass mark is not a guaranty to gaining admission in competitive courses if other people score higher than you. You had many choice to make, go outside the country to better universities and read harder than before best choice Read harder and score higher in JAMB and post UME the next year 2nd best choice Go to polytechnics and other choices picked in UTME 3rd best choice you could have made Go to a mushroom university in Ghana and be very proud of it brother, if you are sure you are good academically, then that was a bad choice you made. Why dont they write JAMB and post ume in many European countries?"Shine you eyes my brother" let me make this clear for the umpteenth time, any top class university world over have basic requirements they expect from students, depending on how high one's choice of institution is and how competitive the course of study is, the requirement are very demanding with high flyers given preference. You don't just pick up a form with a mere passable result and expect to be admitted to your chosen course in universities who know their worth. JAMB is an exam, true, it is not a true test of knowledge; all exams are not true test of knowledge, but if the requirement is to ace the grades, do it. If you had ace JAMB with aplomb, you won't begrudge it this much. Did you know that SAT is written 7 times in a year?A wonderful riposte have been given to you on this question, what more can I add? Thanks @Olugbenger Its useless arguing with shallow minded folks like you, who only make a point trying to correct typos in sensible posts, as if smart grammar built the titanic.Sorry, I was searching for the sense in your post. If calling us to fight our government so that adequate mushroom universities be created is what you proffer, I find it senseless. If your advice is that we should write JAMB 7 times a year, you've not started making sense. I could as well tell you to start fighting the Ghanaian government so that their schools are at least better than Nigerian schools and that until the last mushroom university is demolished, you and your fellow Ghanaian patriots will not leave the street of Tekoradi, Accra and Tema. |
GHANA OGA: U are a big fuuull..4months strike is what u call quality education..no light. A nation with a bunch of retards walking into an institution to kill innocent students all in the name of religion.SCHMURK Old man! You are the bigger fool. The gains of the less than a year strike will reposition our universities to the top we deserve. As it is now, we are better than Ghanaian universities and we hunger for more. You talk about strikes, don't they strike in Ghanaian universities? Your universities have been through a year long strike before and have gone on strike this year also. Don't derail these thread, this thread is about the death of two students due to negligence of their mushroom universities. Some issues branched out of the discussion and these issues are been thrash out in passing; these are "Nigerian universities are better than Ghanaian universities" and the country is awashed with mushroom universities. If you want to argue about Nigeria and Ghana, create another thread and hint me, I'll gladly usher you to the epiphany of how risible your "Ghana is better" opinion is. |
Lol ![]() This picture reminds me of an ogre. What a head !!! Her head is a behemoth cephalus, her make up just makes me wanna puke, the only reason GEJ will find it difficult to sack that She should be sacked immediately and registered into our Weightlifting team, amateur wrestling, short put or as a bouncer for wizkid's birthday. |
