I love GH: Dude below is a link to listen to how CUT is supposed to be pronounced and you will know why the guy cut the fish instead of telling you whether he had catfish or not.Take it easy! You are always too serious with life, this a joke for pete's sake. |
Op, you no fit buy another bed? Just asking though! |
Op, common hug and you cried? What if she gave you punany, what do you intend to do then? |
I understand our sentimentality (I'm a student too) but see, the federal govt can't be trusted. When Doyin Okupe was talking on Channels, it was obvious the man was not telling the truth in some areas. Its very simple, you say you have opened a formal account with CBN. Notify ASUU (not in the news) and let there be a signed memorandum signed by the Attorney General (ASUU is not dumb), who owns CBN. Then the agreement on salaries. Period. You can't expect ASUU to call off the strike of 5 months based on word of mouth of Doyin Okupe of all people.
what are you saying na bros? Is ASUU telling you the truth. The truth is handout peddling, money and sex exchange for marks, lackadaisical turnout to lectures. ASUU have not been talking on that and FG have been talking on infrastructures. Why should FG beg ASUU to come and see the money in CBN? Is FG working for ASUU? Why don't you advise FG to call on NANS, NAAT, SSANU, and NASU to come and see the money in CBN? Do you think the universities belong to ASUU for keeps? If FG have deposited the said money in CBN, the onus is on ASUU to go and verify and if NANS or SSANU want to do same, they can go and verify, it is not for FG to beg them to come and inspect. The MOU should be signed by whoever signs MOU before, it musnt be attorney general. ASUU should quit synthesizing bogus requests. And don't get me started on salaries? They don't deserve a dime. Thieving lot of teachers. |
It has now become blindingly obvious that ASUU members are vapid and show dearth of reasoning and commensurate actions. They are everything but intellects. Their all-or-nothing stand in a negotiation is pure idiocy and grandstanding. The Reverend Father gave a very apposite appeal in the present situation as ASUU have no legitimate reason to continue with the protracted strike a day longer except that they are pursuing a subversive agenda with strong political undertone. Their take that the non victimisation clause has to be appended and signed is laughable because I expect the erudite ASUU members to know that even if inserted and signed, it doesn't stop any of their members from being victimized through set ups and other means if anyone so desired. Beside, previous ASUU chairmen and members have held lofty position with FG without any form of victimization. Also, requesting for proof of the funds in the treasury of CBN is to say the least stupidity typified. I make bold to say this because if the FG is not sincere, the funds might well be in the account but can be channeled for other purposes with time. The truth remains that ASUU is acting in bad faith else it ought to call off or is it suspend the strike wait for the next six months to monitor progress regarding infrastructure upgrade in the institutions as well as if there are attempts to victimize its members. At the rate they are going they might as well wait until the infrastructures are upgraded to world class standard before they call off the strike. Finally a major ingredient towards making our universities world class, the input of ASUU members, has been lost in the din and not being discussed at all. Maybe government is also responsible for ASUU members not constantly updating their knowledge, trading marks for sex/ money, not being engaged in meaningful research, not being serious with service delivery regarding teaching and other vices they are known to be engaged in.. I tell you most of ASUU members ought not to be in the academia |

Where are the rams? Op na wa for you oo! ![]() RIP to the dead. Sad news pervades everywhere today. RIP Mandiba. How I wish the rams died leaving behind this little kids. |
Am I the only one that thinks this is a sick question that needs panadol? |
They want to hold another NEC again so that another member will die abi? Ok na |
ASUU are being put to shame nationwide. |
wheesin: Baba o....the guy really suffered...but the sad thing was dat he died during my birth month and year....Really? Is that the saddest thing? Na wa for you sef! |
rudedough: Are you a medical practitioner? Cos if you are you'd know that after conclusion of your MBChB + foundation program, you're considered a specialist doctor. Additional courses will grant you the title MBChB, MS, M.Ch which takes a degree of practicing in your medical specialty. My God! After your MBBS, MBChB you become a specialist Dr? What did you study Dad? Is it Babalawo medicine? Use your dictionary whenever in doubt, you are beginning to sound stuuuupid. |
texanomaly: Smh...are there any real medical specialists in the house, who can school this BOY?Don't mind the dude, there's no need to lie, I'm 23 (I'm not a specialist doctor #hahahaha )jist a medical student, and I'm not outside the country, but I know what it takes to have a bachelors in pharmacy and what it takes to read (MBBS, MBBCh, M.D etc). I know what it means to be a medical officer (M.O), a resident doctor and a specialist Dr. I know what it means to do Mpharm which this guy claims and what it takes to further in the field of Pharmacy, pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Public health, Anatomy etc. If this guy with is witless and frivolous claims don't know these, the I doubt if he ever studied pharmacy not to talk of doing MSc in it or specialist Doctor as he said #hahahahaha I'll be back in 3hrs time should incase he quotes me, I just hate lies. |
rudedough: You should get an education son. No offence. Why should I be the one. It is blindingly obvious that your "I'm a specialist doctor" statement is false. Google your moniker and "I am a" + nairaland takes only 5 seconds and there you are with multiple personalities. #peace. |
texanomaly: Are you even aware of how many years it takes to be a doctor? Much less to specialize. You look like a teenager. It's no wonder she doesn't believe you. If you are telling any kind of truth at all, you might be a resident. Maybe. He's not doing any residency. At best he's doing a masters in Pharm and after Bsc pharm and I doubt the veracity of that either knowing how lying he can get. |
rudedough: You really don't know what a medical career is. Check what an MBChB is then correlate with an MSc in Pharmacy. There's no need to proof anything, you just need to know what an education is.Listen Dad, stop deceiving yourself, you were never a medical student, people do Mpharm after BSc pharmacy. You were a pharmacy student doing his master (that's if this is true, knowing how far you can go when lying). As I said, this is Nairaland and you can be Obama if you so choose. Bragging somewhere that you are a specialist doctor when truly, you are a pharmacy student who may/may not pass the defence of his thesis. I still leave in in peace Dad... |
@rudedough I'm just laughing here, you seem to be a lot of things on nairaland and for some reasons, people doubt your identity, where you are from, tribe etc, not that I care though, but can you remember this post of yours rudedough: [b] I did not "RANT", I "WROTE". And as a matter of fact, i'm a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) student, so YES i know a lot about Chemicals (See attached picture). When someone (x-fire) offered to sponsor your proposal, you said, in your own words and i quote:You need not reply me, just go back to the topic being discussed, when we saw this much page, I thought the debate was getting hotter, never knew people were tryna prove their identity. Nairaland is a faceless forum bro, you can be Obama anything you choose to be, the burden of proof is on whoever wanna doubt. #peace |
Effiwizzi: It is better for a girl to be known as a prosmicious lady ( enjoys donating sex just for the fun of it) than known as a prostitute ( getting paid for it.)All are the same, the only difference is the attitude and the 500naira. Which one troubles your heart less, the #500 or the attitude? Go for it. |
yinkeys: no na. Don't say this. I spent lots of time with a good girl.Look at this assistant boyfriend!!! Let me tell you, some other knee-gar is fvcking her. |
I didn't see the part that says "Strike called off". If only you know how sick your lecturers are, you wouldn't be this sure on your prediction. |
That's another common one...lol, Or when ever she says NO she actually meant YES. Whenever she says honey please stop, she's saying pls continue
Really? I never knew this, You mean when she says "HOney stop, you are bursting my womb" she means "Honey don't stop, you have not pass my thighs? ![]() |
Orlando Owoh: How can the government be sued when ASUU doesn't have any paper containing their agreement? Then they should go back to work and quit this nonsense prank. |
Boss Ttdiamonds: The MOU is not a legal bindin'...that's why they cant go to court...If the agreement is not legally binding, then FG can decide not to implement it and no qualms. What's ASUU's problem, this is arm twisting, if I gave you my word that I'll buy you beans for lunch and I later did not do as planned, you can't crucify me. its as simple as that. ASUU is simply making a nuisance here. |
Orlando Owoh: It appears you don't understand English; wetin ASUU dey talk be say make government write the agreement for paper and make some people sign am. Ihe ASUU ne ku wu ka government anyi de ri agreement ha na ndi ASUU mere na akukwo.Obviously, you have been listening to unaccreditted BBC Igbo radio broadcast, ASUU went on strike because they want government to implement to its entirety "the 2009 agreement". Then I said, ASUU need not strike if the 2009 agreement is legally binding. They should do the. Needful like every other law abiding citizens, sue FG. |
Orlando Owoh: Why the FG not willing to put the agreement it said it reached with ASUU in paper, and signed by witnesses? If as you said in your earlier post that there was an agreement reached between FG and ASUU, then ASUU have no right except they are plain wicked to stop lectures of thousands of students...they should use that agreement to sue government, after all, agreement is agreement. |
Genycharl: Its not true...the lecturers are still aroundIf this news is not true then I will be greatly disappointed. |
Orlando Owoh: ASUU has been hijacked by APC, you said? Was it APC that signed the agreement in 2009?If the agreement is valid and void of selfish motive, ASUU should sue FG or forever remain silent. |
Good Job! Uniabuja, your turn tomorrow! |
tobechi20: This story is a lieyou are entitled to your opinion brother, I believe the burden of proof is now on you to show the falsity in the story. |
POPE II: there's is you just don't pay . All Catholic churches receive tithes from people it just not enforced or compulsory, I mean the sermons and teachings do not revolve around tithesThe question is, during last sunday of the month mass, do they ask for people with their tithe to come forward, if they do, is it also done in Rome like that? Simple question. |
POPE II: sorry but I don't believe this .And then the ultimate question is why would I lie? What do I stand to gain by lying? Even is school, when they pay their tithe, the priest pray on them. Yesterdays mass was different because the priest quoted malachi 3:8 trying to justify the act and he went on as far as saying that next sunday and subsequent sundays will also be tithe sundays so that those of us who were not too convince before his tithe sermon or have not collected salaries then will pay up. However let me chip in one point here which I didn't earlier, this said priest is not our parish priest, he said he was a class mate of our parish priest back in the days and he came to visit us, he'll probably spend 2/3 sundays with us. But then again, either way, he is a priest. |
peppy luv: Seriously I don't wanna go hard on you but u making me mad @ u cuz u sounding silly! Are u saying all these for the protestants to praise u?Now this is a story that really touches the heart, I was touched reading that piece. Let me speak of my Parish, if for anything, they are very generous, amidst all these excesses I said, people always participate, I do also but I have my reservations about it. I just needed to know if the above I stated are internecine practice world wide: tithing, planting, harvest and bazaar?etc |
