I'm both but I see myself as Hausa because my dressing, language and customs are all that of Hausa. People should understand that in the Northwest, the only group of people who identify themselves as purely Fulani are the nomadic fulani. Settled fulani identify themselves with the mainstream Hausa populace. It is only in the Northeast that Fulanis identify themselves always as Fulani. Reason is, the tribes there couldnt dominate and assimilate them.

The former VC who hails from Benue, refused to employ Katsina State indigenes who should lawfully have a certain quota in the recruitment. Instead he employed people from Benue and other southern Christians in all the major positions in the University. Katsina people protested against such marginalisation in our own federal university but the governor then who happens to nurse the ambition of vice presidency refused to do nothing. The bigot VC has been removed, naturally all the illegal recruitments he did will be reversed.

Is that enough reason for you to go against the teaching of your religion. What is the connection between virginity and her been chased away. Been a virgin until marriage simply shows that she has adhered to the tenets of her religion. Her been chased away is a totally different foolish reason.

Complacency of religion and society towards pre marital sex is the reason why its hard to comeby virgins (both) males or females. I have seen on several threads where someone will quote a religious scripture prohibiting such acts, but the first people to rebuke them will be people sharing thesame faith. Likewise parents do not keep tab on the activities of their children simply because of modernity.

Kaduna-Kano express road has been in existence way before GEJ would ever think of becoming president. He met Kano-Maiduguri road project ongoing and he left without completing it. Work is still on progress there.

Its exam period. Students are fond of reading in uncompleted buildings away from noise and school activity. Such practice is dangerous and should be discouraged. Money is always set aside in preliminaries for fencing of construction sites. Some people must have diverted the funds for such.

If you ever build this house this way you are going to regret it. For God's sake you have atleast 3m set back at the back of the buildings but with less than a metre at the front. Buildings are supposed to have more space at the front not back because of circulation, aesthetics and the likes. Secondly, your store is as big as your kitchen in the 3 bedroom bungalow. The kitchen should be made bigger by reducing the store. Lastly, please what is the use of a one bedroom house? That is sheer waste of space. Make it atleast two bedrooms thereby improving the value and usability of the house. What is the use of separating a bath and wc in a one bedroom house? You need to review your plan before construction pls.

Dont assume all educated hausa fulani girls you see in kaduna are from Zaria. A sizable number of them are from Katsina State. Zaria has never been termed as a town with one of the most beautiful girls in Hausaland. Neither kano nor zaria is termed as most educated hausa town. Katsina people are more inclined towards western education more than those two.

I am from the north and I am in the north right now. Just look at what you wrote and see if there is logic in it. We have countless number of Yoruba guys leading us for prayer in my hostel in ABU Zaria. I have Yoruba friends who have led me for prayer countless times. The only thing that will prevent a muslim from following another for prayer is if that person does or adds new things to the prayer.

Good. My sister, her classmates and many other candidates from our area were posted to some useless private university in Delta State that didnt offer their chosen course of study. How on earth can JAMB select candidates for over a 100+ universities. Universities should be allowed to screen and select those they deem fit for admission. After admissions JAMB can then ask candidates who couldnt secure admisson to indicate their interest so that they can be posted to schools who have extra slots.

We have thousands if not millions of people who rose from poverty to become wealthy businessmen, professionals, civil servants just like your area(wherever it happens to be).
