And this spokesman will still hold on to his job?naval men begging police?that's a big lie. |
The only reason is that we spoil them silly, all thanks to naija girl. |
Why must we think its ritual killing?it could have being an accident,I think we should all wait for proper info before we make assumptions and speculation, because it happened in the south east does not make it a ritual thing pls, yoruba bigots should desist from making such comments,we are not know for that kind of comments,RIP to the dead. BTW am from the southwest. |
The level of decay in our educational system is being exhibited here on NL,the land use act,is not a lagos state law,its a federal law, whatever LASG government is charging on the land, its based on the act,I don't see anywhere the pastor attacked the LASG. |
ajanaku2: So there aren't Yoruba or Hausa girls with yam legs and hairy bodies. Why the stereotyping? Well the reasons I like Igbo girls aren't far-fetched!...They are beautiful!...you'd hardly see an ugly Igbo girl!...They are neat and are so fetish about their hygiene...They are sexy and very good in bed...I love Igbo food and who else would prepare Ofe nsala, ofe akwu, vegetable soup and nkwobi for Me but an Igbo girl?...Lastly, all My ex-bit**es and the present one are Igbos...I'm Proudly Omo Oodua though!...me too ooo my brother. |
Afam4eva: Last time i checked i was negative. But i nearly burst open the head of the doctor because i never asked them to conduct a HIV test on me. Neither did i pay for it. |
Count from the number one position in the land (Presisdent) Downward, who is the next Yoruba man or woman?, might be this Oyinlola that many of his people here are laughing at. Opposition under the ACN will really Cost the Yorubas this time around. In the days of Awo, they would have cleverly grabbed that “Speaker Slot” when it was offered to them. If after say about 12 years and the ACN cannot win the Presisdency, I wonder what they will do. You don’t put all your eggs in one basket, no wonder Ondo people stayed out.
southwest does not care much about where the person who hold power at the center comes from, they are very content as long as he or she perform, and develop the country. Of what good did Obj who was imposed, voted for, championed by other regions in Nigeria to the southwest and the whole nation at large?same thing goes for Ette,Bankole,Bode George, former pdp governors in SW. |
ba7man: I'm not a fan of GEJ but what about the money their Governors receive monthly as Oil producing states?? Isn't that supposed to be directed at improving their region??exactly, rivers state, delta, and akwa ibom receive more allocation from FG than lagos state, still you can compare them to lagos on development both human and structural developments in the past 10years,they should demand for a better governance from their state government and their people in nddc before calling for Gej'head.years back I use to pray for a president that can deliver power supply uninterrupted, that I will vote for him for a second term even if that will be his only achievement,Gej has done it av had uninterrupted power supply for 7 now and am still counting, but am afraid av got to renegade on that promise, the level of looting rightnow, will only turn my descendants to economic debtors in the future. |
Btw why are they eating in such meetings?they are suppose to hit the ground after executive meeting and get things rolling, eating after such meeting while the populace are hungry is very bad, they should eat from home. |
@ peleson yorubas didn't vote for obj,in 1999 they voted olu falaye, tagging obj as a yoruba candidate will be erroneous, because they knew him better than others and they warned others about him but it fell on deaf ears,he was only supported amid voters aphaty in southwest when he cajoled the gullible governor who eventual lost their seats,to support him again the North power bloc. Obj was a problem foisted by the rest not yorubas, although I won't call them saint or holier than thou, but judging from this mistake, next time we are zoning the presidency to any part of the country,we should please vote for the person the people of that zone endorse. |
Am really disappointed at ajimobi, oyo state has witnessed terrible leaders over the past few years,a state that was once a pace setter is currently lagging behind,am not an indigen, but I spent 7 years of my life in that state, the level of poverty in some areas is mind blowing, what makes me more angry is the fact that this state has all the potentials to be on the level of lagos, abuja, porthacourt, but rather its contesting with kano for the most filthy state,I was the capital of the old western region for goodness sake. Gov Ajimobi need to do better, cocoa has to be revamp, farming settlement has to be created,in atleat 10 lga in the state, each equiped with health centers and a school both basic and secondary,a storage facility, and a cottage industry where the product/crop that is being produce can be process to add value for either exports or local consumption. |
Willy7: Sorry bro,Buhari never said that.Maybe u needed to do a little more research bfore commenting. It was Ciroma and Atiku that made those statement, and guess what? They re both PDP members. My advice to GEJ is:dont go that way,or else he might end up hurting himself.Let him focus on delivering his electoral promises and leave d rest for Nigerians.Trust me,Nigerians know who is d good or bad,no matter what d govt or opposition try to sell.Buhari is not a bad guy,but i cant say d same for Tinubu. As for GEJ,he has more dirt to himself and around him to cleanup before looking outside.Let him focus and deliver first anyway. But if he chooses to go this way as being reported here, then Nigerians should braze up for mother of all revelations and i tell you,the presidency will have the worst hit and casualties because GEJ dines and wines with d most corrupt in the hemisphere. My opinion thoughis there any point more than three pointer in the game of basketball?if there is,u deserve it.bulls eye.1000+ |
Ermmm why all the headache about watching lagos now?they said that they want to expose or praise public officials in directly in charge of various project in the state you guys are fuming about it,I understand your fear but I think we should give them a benefit of doubt,I don't even know the name of my local government chairman,I don't know how much they receive monthly,I don't know their budget,I don't know how many staffs is on their payroll,I was surprise to see the good work being done by the honorable rep of mushin local govt constituency 2,on ilupeju community paper, the good work the man is doing has to be praised to encourage him, there is nothing wrong in highlighting the good work of this people, and where ever they have shortcomings let's point it out.so please you guys should give them a chance.I love brf die even has a lere boy my self we are proud of him,but we need to know what the commissioners,lg chairmen, senators, and house of rep members are doing. |
Super T: FERMA Should remenber Lagos-Abeokuta also From Iyana Dopemu through Iyana Ipaja then To Songo and Patch it for us.so ferma has turned into a patching agency....lol,if they had maintained those roads, which is their statutory duty, they won't have being in that deplorable state. |
^^^nope its not, that wasn't the 1st time anyway, bunch of cowards,RIP to the dead. But really I think the northern Muslim umar should declare jihad on boko haram members, they are killing them more than other religious and ethnic group. |
totalbaby: Black ppl can be hypocrites sometimes. They use the N word in music, movies etc like some kindaa fashion but let a white person try it then it"s a problemnot even sometimes,Mosttimes, imagine they can allow dj khaled to shout N.igger but if the best rapper of all eminem should try it,they will call for his head. |
Can we blacks get to worry about something better than being called a n.igger?its just a Latin word, meaning black!Arabs, Indians, and mongols are far more racist than white folks,so pls cut them some slacks,a with man fought for eradication of slavery,a white nation Great Britain financed and championed the crusade againt other nations involve in slave trade,a country went into civil war cause of slavery,us civil war,we need to give them some credit. BTW most slaves were sold into slavery by their fellow blackmen, and its also a fact that, there are more black slave in the Arab world than others. |
Really as a Lagosian,I won't mind if a non yoruba governs Lagos state,as long as he or she does a good job. Frankly I think there should be more non indigenous people in the state cabinet, reflecting the cosmopolitan nature of the state, have just one non yoruba commissioner in the cabinet is not so ideal, even in the civil service it should be reflected, non yorubas have the access to aspire for any political post in the state no law or anyone is holding them back on that, A hausa man have a good chance at the state house of representatives in idi araba,so also will an Igbo man have a good chance in a place like Aguda kilo,I think they should start from somewhere, most lagos residents have love and passion for Lagos, they are even more loyal to Lagos than the entity called Nigeria. |
rastle: In the southwestern part of Nigeria, I always notice the passion on forming an association or enforcing people to be a memberof a particular group, however,in other parts of Nigeria(north especially) you don't have biz with your competitors,do what you can do and charge whatever you feel is profitable for you,it is left for you to convince your client on why you are to charge "how much".it may interest you to know that it is practically impossible to have a unique price for such biz, so let's end d argument.god bless you,I love your observation about unions in southwest Nigeria, the thing is killing business in the society, its not encouraging creativity, and values, also its another form of corruption, you can imagine who will be incharge of the funds raised through registration of new members?the excos, headed by the chairman or president of the webmasters association the guy will simply stop designing and focus on registration of new members. |
Gawd dammit!they should fix the roads, haba this is getting too much.....rip to the dead, I pray no more life will be lost in this accident. |
Sincere nigerian thanks for your answer,LASG should pls tell us what they did with the money,I will also like to point out the fact that am still in doubt if they received the money,am of this opinion based on the. Report you gave stating what the ministerbsaid about raising a committee,to monitor the funds at state level, since LASG has not raised the committee, the money could be shared and held in escrow account till when the state govt raise such committee, remember gov yakowa just raised his own committee in December few days before his death. But if they have received the money they should please tell us what they did with it,all this talk about other development in the state are laudable, but that money was meant for a purpose and it should be used for it,not eko Atlantic city or lekki epz. |
Since no one can tell me if the money was paid or not, then I can say that the money was not paid,so there is no reason for this question, sincerenigerian pls bring us a better question so that we can make LASG accountable and we all have a better atmosphere to live in. |
I don't want to believe that its true some people are being paid to bring up issues like this online and some other ones to counter it, Both the PDP goons and A.C.N defenders have failed on this one, Yes we should hold our governors accountable for every sum accrued, but can we hold them accountable for money they are yet to receive? Its a different ball game when the FG will announce a budget or appropriate to when they actually credit the state accounts. The 2012 budget was passed early last year and fg could not release most of the funds in the budget, not until the house threatened impeachment on the president in the third quarter of the year were they able to make available 60% for the MDAs. If anyone av the stats or evidence when, how, where the sure p money was paid should come out and tell us,then I will be one of the voice asking the governor what they did with it. |
GWAD DAMMIT!!! The minister of state for finance said the money would not be release, not until the states set up committee and plan on how they are going to use the money so that they can track it? If LASG have not set up the committee can we safely assume that the FG have not released the money to them? Yes we need to ask questions,am all for it.but sincere9jirian pls ask relevant ones, and we support you in asking them, Am a Lagosian and I pay my tax. |
The jarus guy is a stand up guy,all the things you guys are accusing him of is not fair,he is not the only mod on this section, and being a mod shouldn't be a gag on him, they ate not referees, the same purpose why we are online on this forum is why they are here,to share their opinion, its not necessary that we all are on same page on different issue, you guys should let the guy be,a party celebrating his resignation as a mod is not necessary, On the achebe hall of fame issue, the rules were followed, the guy even came out to say he didn't want achebe name in it,but people that nominated the man followed the rules and he couldn't change it. Btw mr seun should not be afraid about loosing some members because things are not going the way they want, this forum is just too big for anyone to threatened that they will leave, cos they are always around as guests. |
Really, there is nothing special, but just like birthdays,I try as much to thank God for another 365 days, just like I thank him for a new month, and I rock and relax at the weekend in anticipation of a new week,I thank him for everyday on earth. I dnt make new year resolutions cos I dnt keep them,I also do not go to church for new year vigil,I prefer being in solitude praying and thanking God for the New year, after which life just goes on. |
Akshow: between fulanis and their maluu, i no know which one get sense and de more humane pass. Babaric entities killing human being at the slightest provocation. If to say the quarrel na between two fulani community, i for say go on soun.that's the main problem rulanis, not hausas,do not have communities, they migrate from one spot to the other, they are mainly into Nomadic, pastoral and militarily activities, which has helped a good number of their people to be sultan and emirs in the north. The Nomads among them are just like the agberos we have in the west here, they wreck havoc, and take to their heels, they are not stationed in a permanent place, they are very elusive. The FG have to have a lasting solution to the nomadic fulanis, they av to be stationed in a particular area, moving around with their herds into other people farmland must stop.they are all over the country from ogoja to ayetoro in ogun state, they are wrecking havoc and running away. |
Bigotry is a big challenge for we Nigerians, really,op reported an incidence and some people are already insinuating that op is a competitor trying to bring down the image of the coy,but what if the story was true due to some inexplicable reason? I have never used any of this buses,I don't av first hand knowledge of their customers services mainly because I rarely travel,I avoid travelling as much as I can especially Nigerian roads, they are Russian roulette. |
OsunOriginal: Were you in this country when Azazi said some elements within pdp were behind boko haram which led to Azazi removal and subsequent death in an helicopter crash? Given that Azazi cant lie against his own people, what therefore should concern Buhari in all these? It goes back to this same thing, open your mind and accommodate other tribes and their belief. It is the same hatred for others that blocks your senses thereby muddling issues up and deverting peoples attention away from the real issue confronting us. How many of you today condemed PDP following the Azazi revelation? How many of you condemed his removal as a result of this? Hypocrites...ehmmmmm what has azazi issue got to do with your chagrin againt southeasterners?Azazi is a fellow southerner,a fine soldier,a former army chief and nsa.pdp has all nigerian tribe in it,so what's is the correlation?pls be objective, dnt argue for arguing sake. |
calaway: Has the Igbo man ever killed any yoruba man in the se or ss? You are too HOT!! I dnt know if this still obtains but I remember when i was in primary school in lagos in 1987, then all class 6 pupils had to write comon entrance to get placement into FEDERAL And STATE secondary schools it puzzled me then to find the the cut off mark for yoruba and Hausa where lower than that impossed on the iybos by at least 30points so even though we where in the same class and taught by the same teachers the SE where dissadvantagged from the word go. so mr iit should be the iybo that should be bitter not you.hey oga dat one na lie oooo, academically SW is the most advanced in the country...the cut off mark was lower in the north compared to the whole of southwest nd southeast,at no time was that of southwest lower than southeast. |
OsunOriginal: I agree with you but for the equation to be balanced, Igbos must also agree with you and relate accordingly (overly and covertly) with other tribes. Qouting an ex-president "if the dealth penalty must be scrapped, let the murderers take the first step".but you can't change igbos with your rhetorics, and its unfair to generalise them like that.we southernres need each other against the monolithic North. General Buhari,no doubt has the passion for this country, but my problem is that he doesn't condemn the actions of his fulani people, and that of boko haram,he should start doing that with all honesty if he want our vote,we av not forgotten our brothers and sisters that were killed after the election by his supporters,he have to address that too. |
