Sprumbabafather:LMAO ![]() So you mean to tell me you didn't notice the many bullets in the 'sourceless' piece? Lol. The sudden romance should stop already. We had no links with the Old suicidal Biafra and we don't plan on starting now. You and both know that this news is entirely false. We share nothing with the Igbos. |
Perhaps your community is not viable enough. You don't expect a telecommunication company to deploy and not make profit as expected. The cost of maintaining masts, fuelling, among many other logistics that are unknown to you might see a telco stay mum over a location. You should at least have a 2G site in your area even if telcos won't 'waste' their money on a 3G site in the community. |
These sights shatter my heart anytime I see them. We keep coming to this one point where our people are left with nothing but pain to deal with spillages that are clearly acts of neglects by the government. The saddest part is that sons of the Delta understand the pain of their own but would not bother the moment they get to feed off the government's fingers. More than ever, fishermen suffer at the expense of this act of negligence just as farmers whose lands are beside rivers. The likes of Shell and Chevron are the major players responsible for these anomalies and often times than not, they act like they don't see these things. While we could go on and on to blame the FG and the oil companies in the region, our very own have been the primary catalysts of most of these spillages. We would not be battling to utilise many other resources at our disposal had these nonentities not taken to bombing pipelines. The rippling effects always come back to haunt us as a people. Sadly, nothing would change except we get these pictures scattered all over cyberspace. These pictures are nothing to write home about and it breaks my heart. |
It's about time that those miscreants are cut to size. This is one thing I missed BUHARI for. Osibanjo was too weak to tackle this. |
fratermathy:This is not really the position of the law. We should not say thieves should not be clamped upon because they have not gotten to our homes. The analogy might be harsh compared to these folks but the truth remains that our law does not allow for such In fact, the law is so unexecuted that there are gay marriages being held every week in Nigeria and no one really cares enough to invite the police -even the police certainly won't waste a lot of time trying to round up gays -.My fear exactly. I hear some wealthy Alhajis now ask some people to arrange young and willing boys for them. It is a rude shock this is happening in a country with some so-called anti-gay law. So the anti-gay law was an international power-play. Nigeria made that law as a message and I believe the recipients got it very well. Other than that, gays are very much free -only more cautious and not even for the fear of arrest but for hate-crimes against them-.Are we to really believe this? Could you recall our lawmakers signing the anti-gay bill into law in 2014 and the excitement that followed despite the horrible pressure Obama and the United States mounted on Jonathan at the time? Did Jonathan 'oppose' Obama to massage the ego of Putin despite his unending romance with the American governement then? I very much doubt it was a power play move. |
peterphd:In all honesty, true. But then, there should have been a formal, albeit public response to his 'opinion'. Staying mum is indication that we don't have a gay law if, at all we had one, that is. |
MI might have summoned courage to speak on the frustrated sexual orientation of his supposed 'friend' who has been having a hard time coming out but I fear MI is only the beginning of celebrities who would come forward to agitate this craze. We really should be worried that the so called law has not deemed it fit to caution MI publicly. Mynd44 Lalasticlala

I think it is enough to look deep within and ask the last time gays were prosecuted in Nigeria despite an anti-gay law in place. The so-called cross dressers of this world, the Denreles, the Bobriskys and others who are fast taking the Internet by storm are indications that we have a huge problem at hand |
MI's recent rant about Gay rights has got me thinking as to why he would come out to condemn a supposed anti-gay law put in place by the law. But then again, I find it more worrisome that the so-called arrest made recently is for show. Do we really have an anti-gay law in Nigeria? |
biafran1stson:I don't understand. How is Cross River a part of Biafra ![]() |

ademijuwonlo:The narrative is messed up for sure but then again, Edo shares a close relationship with the Yorubas and a couple of Yoruba words, cum practices reflect in the Benin practice and even names. |
The narrative doesn't add up and it seems incomplete. 1. After the curse was revoked, did it in any way reunite the scattered Uneme houses even up to the ones in Awka? 2. Do other parts of Benin marry freely from the Unemes today? If no, then I doubt it is the event surrounding the narrative. Ideally, their acts of bravery and courage should be enough to make ladies turn their way and not claim they are cursed. 3. I understand every part and people claim marginalisation today, but even at that, are the Unemes considered for Royal roles, considering the fact that they are or royal lineage. |
Match Day Two and Arsenal has killed another fan in a new season already. This club has a weird penchant for killing fans every season. Crazy club ![]() |

BabaRamota1980:Mind sharing what went down? |
A boy stole biscuits whose value, I'm sure, would not be up to N2000, yet he asked the boy's parents to give him N15m. However they were able to give him 400k but he felt it is nowhere near his demand. This is one of those days jungle justice makes sense. I sincerely hope the community can confiscate all his life savings and render him entirely useless. |
adetayo234:Now I understand where you're coming from. Your problem is dogma and it is really difficult to figure you are very young, albeit insecure about your practice. For the record, the Catholic Church doesn't practice Biblical Christianity. You might conclude again but it's the truth. 1. Canonization or whatever is called is unbiblical. 2. Praying to saints for intercession is nowhere Biblical. 3. The worship or honouring of Mary and asking that she intercedes, a clear example of the dead, is unbiblical or unscriptural. 4. Baptism from birth? Except you study any other Bible art from the Catholic 'Good News'. 5. Purgatory and its practice? Clearly unscriptural. 6. Knighthood in churches? A clear evidence of the cultish activities of the Catholic faith. 7. How about we talk about confessing our sins to one father just because he is a priest? So you see my friend, the Catholic is a cult, a sect far different from the teachings of Christ. Now I have no business with you fighting this because, like most Catholic folks, the formatting cum indoctrination must have been so great that you can think of escaping from it. And of course, I am no judge, just stating the obvious. Besides, I didn't mention a thing about Catholics going to hell or wherever, I think you unconsciously judged your faith. Before you plan your rebuttal, do well to counter the points I highlighted above about your faith using Scriptural backings. All the best. |
adetayo234:Sir, I'm done here. It won't be my fault if you don't understand a thing. Happy Sunday. |
adetayo234:Apparently, you are one huge dullard and I was deliberately keeping this because I suspected you won't back down anytime soon. 'RIP' as an acronym is primarily used on graves; an epitaph. It somehow found its way to meaning empathy towards the dead, as opposed to medieval times. It is still written on epitaphs till date. You could argue from now to the end of the world but it does not change the obvious fact that it is an epitaph and epitaphs are directed to the dead. Just before we lose track, the argument was praying to the dead or not. It still remains that praying to the dead is as useless as anything as their souls had long departed. Man is a tripartite creature. The moment he dies, his spirit and his soul leaves, leaving behind an empty shell. So when we say RIP, understand that it is an epitaph; the most common in the world just as 'Here lies...'. You clearly shouldn't go about arguing what you don't fully understand just because you are hell bent on winning an argument or probably dogmatic. |
They wanted video evidence now they have it. Mynd44, I frankly believe this is good enough evidence for people to see the reality on ground. |
chibowobbed:Believe me, your people stole and perverted the word. It is without a doubt, a Yoruba word. |
adetayo234:Like I earlier mentioned. When we say RIP, it is more of a saying than a prayer and most importantly, it is our way of showing empathy towards the dead. You brought up the case of Saul and I took you on it head on. I see no reason why you should be angry. |
adetayo234:Didn't you read your Bible to know that it is forbidden to speak to the dead? Besides, did Saul do it through the Spirit of God or banished media possessed by evil spirits? What happened after he invoked the spirit of Samuel? We really need to understand the Bible without a doubt before claiming a practice so odd to our faith. |
adetayo234:The word RIP is more of a saying for a departed soul than a prayer. The living cannot turn the heart of God to judge a dead based on the prayers that was said on his behalf. And that one said RIP to the body of a wicked man does not mean he would listen and begin to rest peacefully when judgement is waiting. Prayers for the dead are truly meaningless. |
All the best to Arsenal. |
I'm indifferent towards his return but one thing I would loom forward to is to see Kanu return to Kuje. His boss is around now. I can only imagine how the dude would be feeling wherever he is. |
This is the same nonentity who claimed the FG gave him oil Wells to leave Nigeria with the five South East states but refused. Lol! I doubt the envelope they gave him would be up to N200k. The dude is just about the smartest criminal in Abia right now. ![]() |
ZionJay:Lol. I was about typing this. The way they brag ehn. I believe the policemen shot because they must have been overwhelmed by the miscreants who clearly came for 'release of their colleagues' without dialogue. I would have loved that Kanu himself shows up there. |
Vince77:He is walking the vegetarian part but is still finding it hard for him to keep up. |
Efewestern:Funny. My point isn't in having this vehicle in Nigeria in the first place but looking, or better still, comparing prices. If Innoson would clearly calculate the total cost of having a vehicle imported to Nigeria before pegging prices on their vehicles then I guess we are in for it. Besides, I believe you would agree with me that the specs of the two cars are definitely not the same. It just goes on to prove that our local manufacturers are not ready. Low end, build relationships and trust with your consumers coupled with quality assurance, if not deep enough, before thinking of competing properly. The rise of Tecno comes to mind. |
