Keep off Starcomms, whatever you do. |
Enjoy humour for what it is. Guys are too strung and irritable. |
All state governors yearn for their own airports because: 1. Large sums of money can be stolen through contract manipulations well into the billions. 2. Cheap popularity in the eyes of the largely uninformed citizens of their states. 3. Mr. Governor's private jet can land at "home" rather than where he still has a road trip ahead. 4. Family and cronies are given juicy positions to embezzle airport fees and charges. 5. Governor can boast about how he built an aiport until the day he dies. |
IF the real meaning of flirt is under consideration the award goes to PILOTS |
Agreed that prison conditions in Britain are not like what we have here at Kirikiri but the loss of freedom of an individual to choose what he wants to eat, what he wants to do and where he wants to go is the real punishment behind incarceration. A man like Ibori who has seen the good life, attended to by a horde of assistants aides and mistresses will be on medication to retain his sanity for the first years. |
In as much as we would like to see innovation particularly in the technical aspects of our national and economic development, we cannot re-invent the wheel. That car looks to me a kit-car, one that is packaged in its various parts and sold to the buyer to put together. As such all parts have been manufactured and buyer is left to just assemble it as a hobby and car enthusiast. A builder of a car needs to be much more original than that. Of course he cannot manufacure all the parts but he needs to design and be in an overall command of goings-on like what engine to use. Similarly, you cant build a funny looking car body over a disused Toyota vehicle lower frame plus axle and claim to have built your own car, another likely possibility with Opere's so called Aso Rock or whats that name again? |
Customs are playing to the gallery. Chaep publicity. |
He is so humble that when i saw him at the Lagos airport, he could have been mistaken for one of the currency traders. |
From poster's narration, it appears a genetic problem. (just joking) ![]() |
Another white elephant project and our peoples' penchance for grandiosity. Imo Airport is already being serviced by most of the airlines. The need for government participation is nil. When the people jubilate on hearing their governor announce such a plan i remember Bakare's statement about the fools being led by idiots. ![]() |
@ ftmom When there is a random sample of adult Nigerian males ( I exclude the KC and Command sch boys); why is it so hard to have good looking facesEspecially among the igbos' hard facial structures. By the way how did you know those were K.C boys? |
MO is simply WORLD CLASS |
You cannot re-invent the wheel. Another attempt at cheap popularity by Covenant Universty after awarding questionable First Class honours to their numerous graduands. |
Can our anyone help with advice on where Channel Coco Mademoiselle Fresh body Cream can be bought in Lagos as it has appeared to be unavailable anywhere so far. |
@OdiaeroKindly enlighten us on what Night Landing System is about in the plane. |
I love cricket and played it but sadly its not a popular game here in Nigeria. Here, its football or nothing even though the fans would rather follow foreign teams. Hockey is another popular game in India or somewhere in Asia where i suspect you are from. |
Some of our traditional values are lamentable. A burial ceremony or a carnival. Music, dancing, spraying of currency notes £ $ N. Fighting for food, drinks, gifts. |
Account details please |
Methinks it gonna be pegged at 100naira per litre for now. |
Thanks but no electricity here. |
That was one huge protest. The most successful ever. Only a CRETIN (apologies to Sagamite) will describe it as a failure. |

Is Emeka 7 all right? |
Who is a man of God and who is not? There is nothing special about Oyedepo, besides his flair for wealth accumulation as derived from his flock of followers whom he has managed to brain-wash into total submision unto him. Some of us can see through his antics and those of others like him. For those of you who belong to the brain-washed class, or too naiive to know the difference, or waiting on miracles rather than working hard towards your goals in life, Oyedepo's last goof is a pointer for you that he is far from being a man of God. |
I will come with my bread in hand, come Xmas day. Bread + Ewa ![]() |

Practise match for Barcelona. Better dubbed El Practico. |
Female pilots enjoy the glamour to no end. |
Some notable points? Modern airplanes are so automated that the old required macho/physical efforts are eliminated. FMCs or Flight Management Computers on board have turned today's pilot a Systems' Manager. Landings are ignorantly judged by their smoothness but the fact is that in as much as anyone would applaud a smooth touchdown, various factors may also make that not a priority for the pilot. Eg: A wet runway due rain may require a "positive" touchdown to break the surface tension associated with fluids which cause aquaplanning and subsequent possible overrun of the runway. |
so what does the poster want from real time pilot? |
