I heard that it is just as hard to adopt a child there as it is in the States, just less expensive. Seems crazy to me as the state of some of those homes is appalling. Especially the Red Cross one. It was terribly dirty there was even trash on the floor where the babies were playing, things that could have choked them if they put in their mouth. No toys, very very hot no fan even. Babies were all dirty and in dirty pampers. SAD!

yes people do get bankrupt, they file for bankruptcy but at least they alive to do so. But the truth of the matter ,government still pay a good portion of healthcare in the US. The problem with this universal health care is that not truly universal. If you have basic problem or generally health then it's fine, but if you have special condition then its horrible. That's why you see Canadians crossing into the border to get healthcare but less wait time and more specialized doctors. We a lot of specializations here , its not even funny that of the money being spent.

You don’t need an ETA to travel to Canada as you already have a study permit, which will facilitate your admission into Canada through any of its border. ETA is meant for nationals of countries with visa waiver agreement with Canada or simply put countries that don’t require visa to enter Canada.

Put correctly as long as you have a TRV you can travel to Canada.. study permit only allows you to study and not entry..
