passwordd: For the past 1 year I always eat 7+ times a day but have nothing to show for it; I'm thin. Many times even when I am already satisfied I still force myself to eat. I have tried to contact many internet based doctors & have gone physically to many chemists. There was this foolish chemist man that recommended Hydrac P to me to help with weight gain. I have also sent SMS, calls & whatsapp messages to many doctors (in Nigeria) about this issue but nothing. I tried to call jumia & some online drug stores about this issue but nothing still (if they can recommend any weight gain drugs to me). I have not physically gone to any teaching hospital over this weight gain issue because corona virus started shortly after I tried to do this in february... I wanted to go for my second appointment (I was supposed to go for a test after seeing a dietician)
They keep telling me to increase my calorie intake, drink milk, "top it off", eat more carbonhydrates and eat bla bla bla (which I have been doing for the past 1 year). After doing some research I discovered that some drugs can induce weight gain - Hypertensive drugs were not an option because they have to do with blood & the heart, so it was a no go area for me... so I went for insulin as an option - I read somewhere that Insulin is responsible for Lipogenesis (a type of fat formation in the body). I also plan to take the insulin along with CB-1 weight gain (which I also discovered on my own). Yes I know insulin is for diabetic patients... but what they don't tell you is that it's the overdose of insulin that causes it's side effects such as seizures (and the likes)
I read somewhere that the minimum required dose of insulin for diabetic patients is 100 U.I & the maximum is 500 U.I... so I think a non-diabetic person can take 25 U.I which is half of, half of the minimum dose; this seems very safe to me. What really pissed me off was that I contacted this guy on whatsapp who just ignored me after one or two messages & never bothered to reply me (this is what some of them have been doing to me) - I even tried to flash him. I was very nice to him; was even calling him "sir". I was careful not to tell him anything or make any strange suggestion to him that will make him not to contact me again... he must have done this out of his naivety (I don't think he's a trained health personnel or knows what he is doing)
1 disadvantage of being slim is that you look like a teenager when you are in your late twenties; I remember being asked last year if I was writing UTME exam which hurt my feelings & ego. I have made a personal decision - I know something is obviously wrong with me (I don't have HIV; I've tested negative twice over an 8 month period) - If they will not give me the insulin then I will go get it myself... I also plan to take the insulin along side CB-1 weight gain. I could not find CB-1 in any chemist but I have seen an online store (in Nigeria) where they are selling it N5,000. I will also try & experiment with olanzapine - I read somewhere that olanzapine also induces weight gain (to some extent). If you are a fat person, please feel free to share your story below on how you became the way you are Ok Sir. We'll be here waiting for the outcome of your experiments on yourself. Don't forget to keep updating us once you start and also on how the results are turning out. That's all |

naptu2: See previous thread here.
FG Asks All Account Holders In Financial Institutions To Re-Register Despite BVN https://www.nairaland.com/6126530/fg-asks-all-account-holders
The Federal Inland Revenue Service has clarified the directive on self certification by bank account holders.
The Federal Government Twitter account had erroneously tweeted that all bank account holders in Nigeria were to obtain the self certification forms from their bank. The tweet has now been deleted.
In 2014 the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) had developed a common reporting standard (CRS) with which members could exchange information about people that have bank accounts and other financial dealings in multiple countries. Read more about the CRS here. https://www.oecd.org/tax/automatic-exchange/common-reporting-standard/
In compliance with that protocol, people who have bank accounts in other countries and foreigners who have bank accounts in Nigeria are required to obtain, fill and submit the self certification forms. This does not apply to all bank account holders in Nigeria. (This is to enable governments to collect tax from their citizens that are based abroad). The banks are expected to know the customers that this directive applies to (due to the Know Your Customer [KYC] programme) and to inform them of the directive.
Here is the FIRS statement.

solmusdesigns: Two things you sell for money or financial revenue is Product (physical goods) or Service ( works and services rendered)
In this case Pastors are rendering spiritual and psychological services for a fee (tithe and offering) just like your tailor sows your blouse for a fee
. In case you want to know, most pastors don't even touch the tithes brought to church for personal use. My pastor, for instance, has a day job he's involved with. He's a car dealer too. His wife works and also sews clothes. He has also written books. These alone sustain his family very comfortably. Then, people give to him, because he has blessed their lives, not because he even asked for it. He has never gone on soliciting for funds in church for his personal or family use, yet people meet him from time to time to appreciate him for a lot of things he has done in their lives. We must realize that it's not wrong for people to give money or material things to pastors because they believe the Pastor added value to their lives through his ministrations and counseling. It is a voluntary, reciprocal response. As a medic, I've had times when some of my patients brought coconut, food materials, even perfume to me in appreciation of how I took care of them or their loved ones when they were sick. Some have even requested for my account number sef. Some have paid for my transport previously when I'm traveling with public transport. I reluctantly accept some of these gestures and have rejected many too. I meet quite a number of them on the streets. I don't even remember some until they start explaining. My point? Many pastors don't depend on church tithes and offerings for a living. They have other sources. |

In this unusual time, the church has witnessed enough persecution, she does not need another one from a deranged individual
For the fools talking about tithes, we love God that's why we give it, it's none of their business.
The young people in this country ll never hold their leaders responsible for mortgaging their destiny but they ll be persecuting the church which is the only semblance of sanity we have left.

WINNERSMOG: By Pastor Dennis Woruka Jnr
To those of you who think the Government regulates Churches in the UK and as such, the CAMA Bill in Nigeria should stand.
I am a Pastor in the UK. This means I can speak on this issue.
As a Church in the UK, you are seen as a charity. The UK government gives grants to the Church. For example, the government can give you £50k (N30 million Naira) at the end of the year based on how much your Church performed that year.
Because of this, the Government checks your finances to ensure the grants given to you are merited. This is how the UK Government regulates churches.
The CAMA Bill does not make any sense in Nigeria, because the Nigerian Government, to the best of my knowledge, does not give any form of grants to any Church in Nigeria. How do you want to regulate the finances of the Church , to the extent of changing her board, when the Church does not benefit from you, financially.
Therefore, stop comparing the UK Government with Nigeria in relation to this CAMA Bill.
I am not against the government tracking down fraud or any form of money laundry.
Please note:
My Church (Fountain of Souls Ministries Int'l UK) has never collected any form of grant from the UK Government and we do not intend to do so.
Source: churchgist.org Thank you very much Sir for this. As far as I'm concerned, the church is outperforming the government in Nigeria. Churches have tarred roads, given out free foods, drugs and materials to the less indigent that are not even members of the respective churches. The church I attend has, in addition to other things, conducted free medical outreach, rehabilitate destitutes and is sponsoring a couple of indigent children in school; yet, we never make noise about it, not even on social media. The contribution of the church in the area of education and research is very obvious. Covenant and Redeemer Universities are just few examples. Above all, the projects these churches undertake, they don't inflate contracts, unlike the Nigerian government that will do a road with ₦10 million and announce to us they used ₦50 million for the shoddy work. Yet, they still have the effontery to pokenose into church accounts. Government should start first by sending all Nigerians the yearly income and expenditure at the end of the year. They should also be truthful about the money they embezzled. The true enemy of Nigeria is the Government, and not the church.
I rest my case |
