You're talking as if you don't know Nigeria; where people will be erecting a structure, and the relevant regulatory agency will come and make a mark on the building for violation of regulations; the owner still ignores the order and keeps on building. The truth is that if there's truly a Nigerian lady ( i.e not a yahoo guy) then you need to see things from the perspective of this lady. Yes she might have lied (we ain't 100% sure that all she have told him are lies), but she might also be willing and ready to meet up with this your patient and even marry him at the end. Nigeria is really messed up economically and people here are struggling.
Let me just tell you this.
I'm in a similar situation also and the only difference is that I am a guy. I met this African American lady online sometime in February and we got acquainted pretty fast. Fast forward to today, she's really been helpful to me in financially and by extension, people close to me. In fact, I have been able to pay for tech skill and got certified all because of her. Yes I do lie to her sometimes ( infact most times) in order to get some dollars, but I really appreciate and I have feelings for her and I hope to meet her in person one day. So please consider the lady.

ANAMBRA MONARCHS LAUD PRESIDENT BUHARI FOR DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES IN SOUTH EAST

Traditional rulers from Anambra State on Thursday expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for his commitment to development of the country in general, and the South East in particular.

The monarchs, led to the Presidential Villa by Prince Arthur Eze, were received by Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, who thanked them for coming, adding that the gesture would encourage the President to do even more for the region and the country as a whole.

“As it is generally said in most parts of the country, when you thank somebody for what he has done, he is encouraged, and does more. This is an incentive for the President to do more for the country, and also for the South East,” Professor Gambari said.

The royal fathers listed the landmark projects embarked upon by President Buhari in their region to include “the Second Niger Bridge, that had been presented as an impossible task by previous administrations, but now becoming a reality under your keen watch,” the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, among others.

“The people of the South East are, indeed, grateful, as we have never had it so good, and on their behalf, we say DAALU (thank you),” the Royal fathers declared.

Also lauding the President for appointing Igbo sons and daughters into key positions in government, they said as custodians of the heritage of the people, they felt it was incumbent on them to “come and express our appreciation on behalf of the entire people of the area, and to urge Your Excellency to do more for the Zone.”

The monarchs included HRM Eze Dr Nkeli Nzekwe, HRM Igwe Chuba Mbakwe, HRM Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo, HRH Igwe Anthony Onwekwelu, and HRH Igwe Chukwuma Bobo Orji.

Hello is a general way of greeting, even with or without, to be more polite and mature I will advised you greet the person like Good morning/evening or Good day , since we are used to the word Hello while not put it this way eg Hello Good morning/evening or Good day.

Most times we don’t apply courtesy and we kind of lack manners even if its our elders calling us, we just pick the call and say hello, without even greeting and is very wrong..

Ways to enhance our spoken English .

2: Always jot down new words and look for them in the dictionary later.

3: You can download dictionary in your smartphone for easy access or you can have it at home.

The Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos, UNILAG Akoka has affirmed that the school’s students will resume in the next one or two months.

The professor of botany, Oluwatoyin Temitayo Ogundipe made this known during a live video chat with a student of the institution.
