There's nothing that's impossible; it's just that they don't want to do it.

Same way MTN said pay per second was not possible, until another network provider started it

Fake. It's an old video and it's the one they used for nnamdi kanu's fake hotel bust.
I'm wondering if blogging in Nigeria is now synonymous with fake news.
They heard that with blogging, you'll start earning millions within a month or two, and you'll be very rich like Linda Ikeji.

So, all of them jumped into "blogging" without understanding the basics. Everybody that does "copy and paste" and can afford #5,000 or less for domain registration, is now a "blogger".

They keep spewing out fake into that they don't even know the origin.

Henrymorre:
we are talking about health how to survive and you are talking about school. So now opening schools is more important than life?. NCDC numbers are not even accurate like in Enugu here, people with coronavirus has surpassed more than 5000 but Enugu don't have testing centres and no way to tell. Enugu was 38 and suddenly had 358 in one day. How can u justify that? Usa is moving to deport Nigerians recently because they want to shift to online learning, are we more advanced than them? Instead you're talking about people resuming school physically.
Well...I get your point.

It's just that I'm very skeptical about online learning working out in Nigeria. Perhaps, some top-rated Nigerian universities eg. Covenant University, can do a test-run, and let's see how it goes.

Henrymorre:
how did you come into conclusion it has low fatality rate? Prove it please. This is science we don't joke with information
Check NCDC figures; the percentage of deaths compared to the total number of people who tested positive, has been between 2-3%. The worldwide average is about 4.5%

Coronavirus is less fatal compared to Lassa fever and some other diseases.
HealthRe: Why We Need More Lockdown And Markets Closed, churches etc by SavageMaster: 11:46am On Jul 11, 2020

For Educational purposes

Coronavirus is a deadly virus, maybe not as deadly because you have survived it. The way it affects people are different, some experience loss of smell and taste, while others don't. Some experience serious headaches like migraine that can last upto 3 or 4days. Muscle pains, etc. Coronavirus cure has not yet be made, and it simply means we have months to wait till the cure is out. But while we wait, why don't we stop the spread of This virus faster rather than making it spread massively.
We have a Fast and slow spread..

Fast spread involves when the government allows market to stay open, resume schools, worship centres open, and people don't isolate themselves and then spread this virus, and alot of people get this virus the same time, we have more than 200milion people in this country if 20 million people fall sick and get admitted to the hospital, we don't have enough hospitals and doctors to treat everyone one. Which will result in deaths of people, and this simply means that ordinary sickness like malaria, typhoid or you have an accidents, which will require you to get admitted in the hospital will likely Kill you because there will be too much patients in the hospital and you won't see bed, or even see a doctor. Your life is not important than another person. We don't also have enough ventilators.

Slow spread involves taking presumptive measures such as closing schools and start online courses, closing market and government finding another way people can sell without toom much population, washing your hands etc..

We still have ignorant people claiming there is no coronavirus in Nigeria, please don't be misguided. Our government should also take more measures to stop the spread of the virus unless this will get more serious..

Thanks for reading
What do you think about the virus?
We don't need another lockdown of the entire country.
If the incidence is high in a particular area, that area should be locked down for two weeks or so, and the spread contained.

We can also do more of shopping online, for those who trust that method; online shopping doesn't work for everyone, though.

As for schools, I'm of the opinion that final year tertiary and secondary school students be allowed back to school by early August. If there's no further escalation in numbers, the rest of the students can resume by September.

The truth is that Coronavirus has come to stay, for this year and maybe next year. Can we all afford to stay stuck at home till zero new case is recorded? With the dilapidated educational system in Nigeria, won't the stay at home by students further make the situation worse?

Flattening the curve or whatever, will take some months more for us to get there.

My only advice is that while we leave our houses, we should take as much precautions as we can, for our sakes and for those around us.

Let's also keep praying for God's intervention for a quick end to this pandemic; and also to give our researchers the wisdom to find a solution to this.

Let our scientists work hard too in order to get an effective treatment for the disease

Richmoney5050:
Am of opinion that the fg should reopen schools immediately no need to panic about kids contracting C.V, if task force, ncdc can be deployed to schools to ensure that students comply with hygiene rules. There is no sense in continous lockdown, if we can learn to live with virus & observe d necessary protocol we can fight C.V (d same way we did for ebola, lassa fever, monkey pox, avian flu. etc). There is no sense in copying other countries to lockdown without being able to provide pallaitives/relief fund to reduce d hunger/poverty due to lockdown. Not every child will be able to afford d necessary resources 4 e-learning(e.g laptop/smartphone, steady internet service, steady power supply etc). As for me it seems d fg & ministry of education r not aware of d damage to academic calendar and d negative effect of this their absurd decision towards schools on students & private sch staff. And also ncdc should manipulating and multiplying d figures of cv cases in naija.
I rest my case.
I don't think NCDC is manipulating figures.

Since interstate movement was reopened, I was anticipating we would hit 1,000 and above daily; surprisingly the number seems to have stabilised and slightly going down sef
PoliticsRe: NASDRA And The Air Force Collaborate To Build Guided Missiles by SavageMaster: 7:07am On Jul 11, 2020
Lanrelagboi:
The 30.1mm rocket developed at the NAF institute of Technology follows the same pathway as the Gulma UAV. The Gulma was an experimental UAV, which was developed as a technological demonstrator used to gather performance data on UAV system. https:///fDbOjm3fFa

The data gathered from Gulma prototype was plied in the design of operational UAV, Tsaigumi, which was inducted on Feb 15 2018 as the first operational indigenously produced UAV.

The 30.1mm rocket follows the same trajectory and a precursor to a sophisticated missile system

In 2017 the Nigerian Air Force partnered with NASRDA to develop a guided missiles to be used by an armed prototype of the Tsaigumi. It will be the first armed attack drone developed by an African country.

The Chief of Air Staff signed an MOU to fast track collaborative

measures to improve force rocketry and missile propulsion systems. AVM Sadique Abubakar lamented that some helicopters in the NAF inventory had to fly as close as 1.5 kilometres to target before firing,, exposing pilots to enemy fire. He then tasked the Nigerian Space Agency

to develop a system that will allow Nigerian aircraft launch their missiles from a distance of at least 3 kilometrres form the target. The Director of Engineering and Space System Dr Femi Agboola said NASRDA had the capacity to improve the missile propulsion needs of the NAF.

But then he said said NASRDA already has rockets that exceeds the levels the NAF has requested for, about 5 kilometres. To quote him verbatim :

''We have already gone beyond that. We are already working on how to guide it, not just point and shoot straight line but to be able https:///3aIH08hGmT

to make sure it goes intelligently to another location.''

These were his words. How true this is cannot be ascertained, but we keep our fingers crossed.

NASRDA engineers have carried out several rocket propulsion test at the Ekpe missile range in Lagos. https:///98CbnTUvdj

Telemetry from this rocket launch showed it exceeded 15km. This means a miniature version can probably go twice as far. If the technical aspect of guidance can be overcomed the NAF might get its own guided missile https:///KUqteF6QZT

Christianity EtcRe: Is It Right For Christian Couples To Watch Blue Films Together? by SavageMaster: 4:05pm On Jul 05, 2020
No sir. It is not appropriate.

First, they're watching porn actors and actresses, hereby indirectly encouraging the porn industry.

Second, the people in those movies are not married to each other and they're doing porn, and it's wrong.

Third, those actors and actresses take stuffs, drugs and all, some of the time, so they can perform. Watching that will put you under stress trying to perform like them.

Fourth, they do a lot of disgusting things in porn: anal sex etc. Is that what you want to practise on your wife?

Fifth, there are a lot of unrealistic expectations people get from watching porn. You may discover your wife may never be able to satisfy you; you may resort to going for other women.

Six, sex is private. You can attend godly seminars or read Godly books on sex, or meet a counselor who is open enough to advise the couple. However, someone else demonstrating how to have sex Live, and you're watching, it's not good.

Finally, consider the impact those videos will make on your mind. When you get to pray or have your devotion, you may end up battling with images of other men/women that are not that of your spouse. It may not even augur well for your relationship in the long term.

I've watched pornography too, but most times I wish I never did

The Scriptures the first poster above me quoted will suffice.

God bless you.
