Of course that's terrible and has no justification. I'm just wondering why a grown-up woman who is married went back to her father's house, and is complaining about not being fed by her step-mum.

Staying there is already enough.

I don't know which of you two women is more silly.

Is it the witch who poured hot water on a baby, or a grown-up you who feels entitled to getting fed in a house you're squatting in.

Her own level of fvckery is definitely higher than yours though, that much is certain.

Will you stop that?
Where is the entitlement mentality in what she posted?

She said she went to get foodstuffs from her husband and left the baby with her sibling. I think she should have gone with the baby anyway.

Entitlement or not, if the stepmother actually poured hot water on the baby, that's terrible. Nothing in this world can justify that action.

prof2007:
The UK's biggest family - the Radfords - have welcomed their 22nd baby and shared a touching photo of the newborn on their Facebook page.

Sue Radford has given birth to her 22nd child. In a statement on the family's Facebook page alongside a photograph of the baby's hand, the family said: "We welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world on Friday night. We’re all so in love with her." The family promised a vlog introducing the baby to the world would be published tomorrow.

The mum to Britain’s biggest family had previously revealed that she had found her second trimester “stressful”. In a YouTube video, she explained this was because of a complication concerning her placenta. Despite this, the 44-year-old said the pregnancy had flown by. Fans had been excitedly anticipating the arrival of the Radfords' baby girl.

The tot will now join the huge family, who have become social media stars. Sue and her husband Noel are parents to Chris, 30, Sophie, 25, Chloe, 23, Jack, 22, Daniel, 20, Luke, 18, Millie, 17, Katie, 16, James, 15, Ellie, 14, Aimee, 13, Josh, 12, Max, 11, Tillie, nine, Oscar, seven, Casper, six, Hallie, three, Phoebe, two, Archie 18 months, and Bonnie, one. The mum is also a grandma – as 25-year-old Sophie has three kids of her own.

Previously, the household revealed their plans to meet one of Australia's biggest broods.

Catchfirez:
Breaking: Doctor Kills A Covid-19 Patient

A Nigerian doctor based in gwagwalada FCT-Abuja , Doctor Peter Ogbemudia has been fingered in the killing of a patient under his care.

It happened that Dr. Ogbemudia had been attending to a Covid19 patient for over a week.

Dr Ogbemudia is a graduate of one of the first generation universities in Nigeria and was the best graduating student in his set.

He is into private practice and is renowned for hard work and success in his work. He however had a 4 week-old who is said to be having a nasal discharge and dry cough and fever for some days. He had given several medications but with no response.

Out of annoyance he took the life of the patient this morning. Everybody was surprised at his action. However, a reliable source revealed it to the press that the doctor's action was due to some "PRESSURE".

Dr Ogbemudia is a Veterinary Doctor and his patient was a 4-week old Broiler who was not responding to treatment. So he slaughtered the chicken and used it to make pepper soup...

Stay at home and don’t forget to always maintain social distance. Covid19 is real. Happy Easter to you all!

You have a point, but since those underlying health conditions are the primary cause of death, covid 19 shouldn't be mentioned as the cause, reason why most people without preexisting health wahala recover from covid 19. In this case,as in most cases, coronavirus is the cormobidity, not the other way round. It blows things out of proportion and creates unnecessary panic.
Well...I see your point

knowyaself2:
After reading the news, even a child will know that genital infection killed the woman.

Unfortunately almost all deaths now are linked to covid 19. In UK for example, influenza and pneumonia that kill people in hundreds and thousands every month suddenly recorded an all time low since March this year in 5 years, simply because most of influenza/pneumonia related deaths are now attributed to covid 19 - misrepresentation of facts.
As long as the test returned positive, it will be counted as a Coronavirus death. Remember that most people who die of Coronavirus are the elderly and those with comorbidities.

In this case, Coronavirus infection hastened the death of a 37-year old woman with 'Genital infection'

Christianity Etc › Re: Should Churches Donate Money To Government? by SavageMaster: 11:18am On Apr 11, 2020
chilan:
Should churches donate money to government?
................................................................................
It is a dangerous precedent for religious organizations in Nigeria especially churches and mosques to be making donations to government and announcing same on the media and taking pictures of the donations. Are churches and mosques now profit making organizations? These monies they are donating, where did they come from?

Monies which members gave as donations, offerings and tithes to God in churches are not meant to be given to government under any guise. The Bible is explicit on what tithes, offerings and donations collected by churches should be used for. It is also very incongruous for the churches to raise special offerings or donations for government needs no matter how dire. Instead of giving money to government, churches should by themselves utilize those monies and commit them to the same tasks they want the government to utilize those monies on.

The churches are closer to the people than the government. The clergy, pastors and imams know the people and their needs more than the politicians. Even in advanced climes, churches do not give money to governments rather it is the other way round. As rich as Roman Catholic church is, it has never been reported that it donated money to government rather it is the other way round. As powerful and wealthy as the Anglican Communion is in England, they still get funds from the UK government and not the other way round.

Churches by nature are constituted to cater to the needs of the poor, the vulnerable, the downtrodden and the marginalized in the society. Churches are also constituted to cater to the spiritual, physical and even the eternal needs of people. Governments are constituted only to cater to the physical needs of people. Between the churches and the government, the churches need funding more than the government and not the other way round.

No matter how altruistic the intentions of the church leaders who have given money to Nigerian government are, it is very wrong for them to do that. It has no precedent in the Bible, it has no precedent in past history and it has no precedent in the present day world.

I agree with you Sir. Government that keeps embezzling trillions of Nigerian oil revenue. I'm sorry for anyone that has given them money so far. Rather use the money and buy whatever you want to give by yourself, and give it to the people you want to give to

What you should be arguing is that, as a lecturer, it would be degrading for him to be involved in such. He should have at least carried himself with some form of decorum since he's a lecturer.

By the way, many lecturers have not been paid February and March salaries because of ASUU-FG IPPIS wahala.

Lagos is waking up to address the emotional and social deficiencies of this rush where children don't mature before moving to the next stage of academic ladder.

It's a giant stride and I appreciate their concerns. Maturity is key and it will help us to challenge the pains, stress and headaches parents and lecturers face in school dealing with such immature lads.
I don't think it's a good idea. Allow children to move at their pace.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Is Absent In War Against Boko Haram- Chadian President by SavageMaster: 4:26pm On Apr 06, 2020
nku5:
NDJAMENA, Chad — Chad’s president, Idriss Déby, speaks in a soft mumble, wears spectacles and an immaculate white robe, and is to be found in the quiet inner recesses of a gilt-edged, marble presidential palace — under crystal chandeliers and vaulted arches that seem part Renaissance, part Vegas — at the dusty center of his country’s capital.

Yet he is undeniably one of Africa’s most formidable strongmen. His men once whipped Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi’s fighters in a desert battle, and he has survived numerous rebel assaults and coup attempts. More recently, his forces have successfully battled the Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram and Al Qaeda’s regional affiliate, Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, or AQIM, shoring up his credentials as the West’s favorite African autocrat.

Still, in discussing his military’s victory in the Boko Haram stronghold of Damasak, in Nigeria, Mr. Déby showed no hint of triumphalism. Instead, he was frustrated, impatient: His men were stuck, still awaiting any sign of Nigerian forces who could come take over. He does not want to be holding Nigerian territory, he said. He wants to be on the move.

“We want the Nigerians to come and occupy, so we can advance,” Mr. Déby complained in an interview at his palace last week. “We’re wasting time, for the benefit of Boko Haram,” he added. “We can’t go any further in Nigeria. We’re not an army of occupation.”
