CChillz: Publicity stunt. So without appointment you won't be tested. Imagine the long que at yaba infectious disease centre yet they keep turning people away because they don't have travel history. I hope they won't do the same here
There's something called "TRIAGE". You start with the people most likely at risk, ie. high risk. These are people with travel history, or contacts of confirmed cases. They're not saying everyone won't be tested eventually. They're only prioritizing resources.
Freelane33: . You need a tutorial brah . Dm me let me teach you how to be an asshole . It’s good to dump them than them being dump you . There has never been a win -win game . It’s either win-lose or lose-win .
At 30+, I think Op needs to settle down, as in, get married. That's why he's asking for advice. This is not time for dumping games

Kuku add that it cures Corona virus, and your market will sell
Nobody should click on that link, until the Op changes the title. Absolute rubbish. He just extracted a 56-second clip of Rihanna blabbing some things about her self and her dreams. I personally clicked the Dislike button on that video. I don't know the "Tragic history " in what she said.
Foolish copy and paste people. They told you you'll make money by posting YouTube videos; then you decide to just copy and paste clips that offer no value to the viewers.
9jainfoparrot: A young girl identified as Rejoice Glory has been spotted selling an alleged cure for COVID-19 in Port Harcourt, and she claimed to have cured two patients already.
In the video that surfaced online, she explained that she saw the urgent need to create something to cure people suffering from the world-disturbing virus.
At first, she was reluctant to give details about the cure but when she heard about the desperation of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Italy, China and other countries to win the battle against the deadly virus. The Port Harcourt 'hero' had no choice but to make clarifications on how the cure was developed.
According to her, the cure is made up of salt, sawdust and some other secret ingredients. It is usually rubbed on the private part and other parts of the body and after one week the infected person will be virus-free.
Go to another police station near you first thing tomorrow morning, and obtain a paper for police report. Tell them it's assault case. With the paper, you will proceed to the nearest government hospital( General Outpatient or Emergency Department) where a doctor will document your story, examine you and write his findings. If you have red eye or bruises from the incident, good; make sure he doesn't miss it. Your lawyer can continue from there.
I don't stay in Lagos. I hope others here can give you a lawyer's link.
dkdmy: I wonder how a top official like that would travel and not follow the WHO guidelines on isolation. This is just simply incompetence that can only happen in Nigeria! I wish him speedy recovery!
The usual "I'm above the Law" mentality of Nigerian elite
Mizwisdom: When someone gives you a free gift do you accept it sheepishly or you ask yourself why? China is the origin of Corona, those kits could be infected, those kits could be fake, awuf de run belle. Let's buy our kits instead of receiving gifts we aren't sure of the source
Lol. Oya go and buy nah. Where will you get them in commercial quantities?
In case you don't know, most of the products the world makes use of come from China
FemiEddy: They wont answer him, obviously. And He is making a whole lot of sense. The lady beneath me doesn't know the world sees Africa as a dumping site (Nigeria top candidate)
Solution : test and scrutinize the kits before use, but obviously, my country won't do that, no time.
There is a depopulation agenda going on in the world.
Jeromejnr: I have been seeing some deluded Athiest on here bashing religion and saying things like all religions (especially Christianity) are waiting for scientists to find a cure then they will thank God instead of the scientists.
First of all, many of those scientists are Christian's.
Secondly, most of the drugs you enjoy today were discovered by Christians e.g. Penicillin.
Thirdly, Hospitals were first founded by Christians.
Fourthly, United States were most of these cures come from was founded by strong Christian fathers who gave the country a good foundation.
Lastly, Athiests enjoy the benefits of Christian prayers today (although they don't know it). Because of this, most of them are still alive. But with that same breath, they choose to curse God.
So the question is, what has Athiesm contributed to the world?
Don't mind them. Their problem is low self esteem.
Anambralstson: Obiano’s Six Years of Purposeful Leadership
As Governor Willie Obiano marks his six years in office today, one thing that comes to mind is the saying that ‘morning shows the day.’ Obiano’s First Hundred Days in Office clearly showed him as a surefooted leader who had diagnosed the leadership illness of his people and had came to work armed with the right prescription for the ailment.
Unlike what we see these days, Obiano did not waste time in settling down to business. He knew too well, the inherent capacity of Ndi Anambra to transform their environment. However, unlike his predecessors, he was quick to figure out that Ndi Anambra would not take ownership of their state if it was left broken and unsafe. He knew that the silent pain had always been the unfettered audacity of criminals across the state…and that until the audacity was hacked away, no meaningful development would take place in the state. It was clear as daylight to him that a society which went to sleep at 4pm for fear of the underworld was a society in chains and one in which real progress would hesitate to take roots. So, he wasted no time to tighten the noose on security and that has served as a precursor to Anambra’s hopeful narrative of change in the past six years.
To be sure, anyone who is familiar with South East Nigeria would know that the Igbo are passionately attached to their homeland. The Igbo wanderlust and intense attachment to the homeland is captured in the saying that “obialu ije nwe una” and “eje ana bu isi ije.” But nowhere is this emotional attachment as strong as in Anambra State. That is why Anambra usually turns into a big carnival at Christmas. Ndi Anambra will always find their way home for Christmas. Sadly, many people could not do that for years because Anambra was unsafe. Only people who could afford a large battalion of battle-ready policemen visited home to sprite their aging parents away to safer places. But Obiano has changed that and restored the legendary Anambra pride.
Indeed, Governor Obiano did more than restore the people’s pride. He actually re-imagined the New Anambra and worked hard to bring his dream to pass. Anyone who is aware that Obiano’s stated mission in government is “to create a socially stable, business friendly environment that will attract both indigenes and foreigners to wealth creating opportunities” will not dispute that the governor has excelled in his mission. Anambra is socially stable and business-friendly today. In the past six years, Anambra has attracted a large number of indigenous entrepreneurs and some foreigners to the local business space. In much the same way, Obiano has continued to expand the frontiers of wealth creation in Anambra State right from his first week in office. The Anambra Small Business Agency (ASBA) has produced a large number of enthusiastic entrepreneurs and won the governor a Presidential Award for the support of SMEs. The ease of doing business has been boosted in a considerable way by the creation of Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA). Similarly, the recent hosting of the Nigeria Police Games was a big Christmas gift to small businesses in the state. So many restaurants, bars, hotels, supermarkets in Awka have confirmed that their businesses experienced a high patronage during the games. That is the business of government; to create a fertile ground for dreams to bloom.
Governor Obiano has also left a big imprint on Awka the state capital. Awka has evolved a 24-hour lifestyle and a booming night economy. Indeed, Obiano has successfully recreated the social environment of Anambra State and unleashed a social harmony that was once a wishful thought among the people. A visit to Anambra State on any given weekend is enough to get a fair idea of the emerging social circuit.
And who can deny that in six years, governor Obiano has made Anambra State a reference point in Agriculture? Who can deny the immense economic value of Coscharis Rice Farms and Mills or the popular Anambra Rice or the massive impact of JOSAN Rice Farms and Mills? Which worker in Anambra State is not happy with the fact that Anambra is the first state to pay the new Minimum Wage? Which black African is not proud of the five school girls from Regina Pacis Secondary School Onitsha that defeated China, US, Spain, Turkey and Uzbekistan to win the Gold Medal in Technovation at the Silicon Valley? And who can dispute that all these great achievements were recorded under Governor Willie Obiano.
And as the once colourless Sir Alex EKwueme Square transforms into a showpiece sporting complex, as the magnificent International Conference Centre begins to impose itself on the Awka landscape and finally; as the Anambra International Cargo Airport begins to emerge from its foundations at Umueri, it is increasingly becoming impossible to deny that Governor Willie Obiano has changed Anambra State in six years.
Congratulations on your 6th year in office! James Eze

omale88: what are you saying?what's 1.7million naira? sea lion is an endangered species we are talking negotiations starting from 6-10 m and could close at 12-15m for his hardwork,do you think the money for the conservative is their money?people like Bill gates and Jeff bezos pay them money to save these creatures, did you read the lines where I mentioned I blame illiteracy and poverty? if they where well informed. wildlife conservative or animal conservative are private organisations, rescueing an endangered species of animal is same as rescueing a kidnapped human from a wealthy family,so they negotiate well to save those animals than let them be killed.
omale88: that's no fvcking fish thats a sea lion.i blame illiteracy and poverty, only if the person knew how rich he would be if he handed over that alive to animal conservative?.bunch of fish brains thinking fish of everything.
Will Nigerian "animal conservative" give him 1.7 million Naira?
Owerri1stSon: It all started yesterday, 14th or March when I was heading to a burial at around 11am.
My longtime class mate's Mom died, so I really needed to attend that burial since it was over 8 years since I saw him back in Abuja and now I am in IMO State, and since they are coming to IMO State for their Mom's burial, I deemed it necessary to attend that burial.
Besides, we were family friends aside being in same sec. school.
I alighted at fire service in owerri, and decided trekking to the burial which is not far from the road when a SARS officer called me and was like I should give him my phone.
I wanted hesitating but while he was talking, I noticed that he just finished smoking ibo with one of those strong drinks, so I didn't want trouble or what might lead to another, I had to give him the phone.
He started checking my phone;
*He checked all my pictures from a—z but couldn't find anything.
He went to hangout and checked it but it wasn't even activated
He asked me what so many gmails were doing in my phone? That if I know the implications of many gmail in my phone, I will decide to settle with him there.
I was like WTF? Gmails? I use them in case of any online registration but he said I am "A YAHOO BOY."
I told him to to check all gmails and see if there was any yahoo message or any message that would indict me, he refused and asked me to follow him to the station.
The station was very closed by.
There he took me and handed me to some SARS officers there and was like 'This is is one of them"
There, I met other 21 innocent guys too then I knew my case was about to start.
They gave my phone to an officer who checked phones to know if guys are doing "Yahoo or Not" and when he checked my phone, he was like what is google translator doing in my phone? That I am a suspect. Just like that?
I was like sir, check those google translator and if you see any sentence that relate to yahoo, you can arrest me, he said so far I had "Google Translator" in my phone, I am a suspect..
I told them that I was attending a burial before I was called, that even if the want to hold the phone till I come back, they should cause I can't miss this, they told me to shutup.
I tried explaining to an elderly police man, what I got was a slap from him, shouting that I am a suspect, I am foolish, this and that.
I was with other innocent guys there for over 4-5 hours before my phone was pickup to be checked again.
I called them innocent because I was there when their phones where equally checked and upon finding nothing on their phones, they still arrested and wanted putting them in cell. 4 of them had to bail themselves for 24k each.
I wanted attending a burial around 11am and now, this is 4:20pm I was still with them.
My phone was recheck maybe after seeing that I ain't giving them nothing or any sort of money, they gave it back to me and allowed me to go..
I was thinking of suing them most especially the elderly man for slapping me just because I was trying to explain things to him
This stuff just made me hated Nigeria more and more.
The Police Station in Owerri, behind Fire service is a total mess.
The police/sars there are armed robbers and thieves, please, this should be checkmated.
I believe they always give them target and commission for bring guys.
They get paid if any of the guys bails themselves.
