Tusly: Renmoney can render you useless with their ridiculous interest rate, please Avoid THEM by all means if you love your life. Charging a high interest does not necessarily mean scam...they give loans that have no collateral therefore it's only reasonable to expect that the interest rate will be high. The reason why most Nigerians run into problems with loans is because they borrow without having any means or intention to pay back. Calling someone a scammer implies that the person has cheated you out of a business deal or has advertised a business proposal that any reasonable person can see is unrealisable and with intention to deceive or mislead so as to gain an unfair economic advantage! |

WriterX: This thread has been one of the best i have read so far on NL this 2021, i won't lie , I read all the comments from 1-11 and intend to read on, so much to learn .
MY IDEAL BUSINESSES ARE POULTRY OR A GAME CENTER OR A VIEWING CENTER
I intend to go into POULTRY because i have been assisting many people over three years now to raise birds, I don't eat chicken or any meat so i won't be bothered about eating them lol like someone mentioned which i understand how tempted one can be. Its not going to be side hustle, i am a gemini and i always have that believe in what i do can prosper giving the right approach, yes feeding has been a pain in the asses of bird keepers but i intend to approach my business in a different way that can help minimize the cost.
its a good business and sadly i have seen so many failed at it , some reasons they caused and some that just happened, getting bad birds, poor feeding, maintenance and so many. i like to think out of the box and experiment, i read alot and watch videos on fields i am keen on, hopefully knowledge isn't just power but profit as well.
i am still learning and i hope it can help me perfect my business when i start it eventually, i am sincere and honest atleast that is what i think lol (i know it kills some businesses lol)
at heart i am a gamer, i know alot of game houses around the neighborhood who make alot back then and the kids who spend nothing less than 3k on games, my ideal set up would be to introduce not just playstations (2,3,4 and if possible 5) but xboxs and internet gaming PCs but thats alot of money i will be putting in right? well i am also thinking of gaming subscription services and normal pay as you go, weekly competitions and monthly , to spice things up, i have asked around and the feed backs and surveys are actually good at the moment.
i read here about a guy who owns a game truck and goes to event to offer his services, its also a thing i would like to think of incorporating all this is money talk and that for now i am currently working on.
the viewing center is something that is poorly done in the area, i have made my own designs of what i think would be nice, its a student area and lots of youths around, i know what i can do if i get the right capital and i am extremely patient so hopefully it can help cope if difficulties arises.
all three are good businesses for me, but my heart is with poultry, i love keeping birds , have done it for years, i have seen the pros and cons, i have learnt alot of tricks and techniques from different people so its my focus point for now, but the other two are there and if iget the right support then i am good to go. Some of these businesses look good on paper, it's when you actually start it that you'll realise that you don't know as much as you think you do about the business! |

TOTOnigga: Hello guys.... I don't just know.. Is it just me or is there anything I don't understand......my parents are rich people especially my dad, I know that for sure... someone paying #950,000 naira per year as school fees for me aside other expenses, plus multiple houses and lands I can't even keep count of....
How come they are this stingy? There is no time I would ask them for money for my own personal well being or any of my personal needs that they would like to assist me. I once ask mum for #12,000 naira just to buy a fairly used android phone (when I know they can even afford me an iPhone x) but she told me I should wait till months end before she gives me saying there is no money on ground... it's five months now and still nothing (not waiting for it though)...
Then I ask my dad, he told me I don't need an android phone... telling me that phone makes people unserious and other types of bulls*it( a 19 year old student for that matter)
Any expenses that is not book or academic related is not important...my parents would rather buy clothes for me than give me money to buy clothes... sometimes I end up not wearing some of them..
The funniest part is that, anytime I take any urgent lie(Asin scam) about any payment in school...they wouldn't Waits a second to send it to me... This has got me telling all sorts of lies just to get what I know can be gotten honestly.. It has even gotten to the point that any money that enters my hand now, I use it to play sports betting to see if I can get enough money for what I need, but I end up loosing the money...I am just frustrated.. someone time I wish I didn't even have rich parents cos what's the point... Go and work for your own money so you can use it to gamble all you want! |

The presence of celebrities is the only thing differentiating Lagos from Abia and Ekiti state.

JojoNaija: There has been an upsurge in the number of female bank chief executives in Nigeria in recent years.
Indeed, this is a welcome development, as over the years, there has been agitation for more female participation in every sector. The banking sector is no exception, clearly.
The rise in the number of bank managing directors who are women could be linked to the growing reputation of women being better managers.
Before now, we have witnessesd the growing number of women who are chairpersons of boards of banks, for instance, GTBank (Osaretin Demuren), Access Bank (Mosun Belo-Olusoga) and First Bank (Ibukun Awosika). All these serves in aligning Nigeria with the global movement toward gender equality.
