Been contributing in a cooperative society for a while and now I stand a good chance to take a loan of 500k amount which will be paid back for maximum years of 2.

I want to use this money to start up my own business and quit the long 18k salary I am getting from a private school since I completed my university degree (2019) and possibly move ahead in life.

I have two major business ideas on my mind which I believe is very lucrative but as a part of my research and findings, I need some advice from people who have experience in these two business to please give some suggestions and shed more light as to which busines is best as a fresher in business.

The first one is medicine/cosmetic and some selected provision products retailing while the second one is motorcycle spare parts and oil retailing business.

I am planning to undergo 3-4 months training in the most preferred one before I will kick start it.

It's not my wish to tarnish any brand or drag the name of a particular brand in the mud but the particular brand named above is nothing but scam.

So it happens that on the 2nd of July I ordered a pair of shoes tagged at 22k which I paid. Apparently I should have raised eyebrows because he insisted on full payment before delivery but I still paid.

Fast forward to the promised day of delivery which was meant to be 17th - 19th guy started posting me
I even requested for a picture of the shoe before dispatching no he wouldn't send.

I have had personal experiences where I was invited by two of my ex-lovers to their marriage ceremonies. I had well pressed English and native wears for the occasions, of which I could easily pick the one I want, fuel in the car and sufficient cash for logistics and unforseen expenses, but Warri boy still nor show face. Best thing is to avoid wahala. Don't put yourself in such position. Don't loan people money. Give only what you can afford to loose. Don't venture into any agreement where you have to pay anyone upfront except you are fully protected. Don't do any ajor ie contributions without each person dropping a postdated check for the collection date except in an organized company.

People must eat everyday, they put in their stomach infrastructure first before clothes, shoes etc it's daily money. You will also be an employer of labour with everyone answering you 'yes sir' and your wife 'yes ma' if you want to make more profits then dedicate time for the business and deal directly with d financial aspect of the business, that way your sales girls won't rip you off.
