From the post I stated the quantity needed as the basis why I am looking for more exporters sir. That word nonsense I believe it's very harsh. If it's not paying off for you, it is for others. And moreover exports in whatever means is part of what sustains a country's economy and should be encouraged. Cheers
Sorry for the harsh word I used but I am completely pissed with export business and would not stand by an let an innocent person be goaded into it.

Exporting anything from Nigeria is a nasty experience especially if it's a perishable item!

Your last sentence is actually very wrong.
I've been to several hang out spots where they have snooker tables and I discovered that most players are mature working class men who play snooker as a form of relaxation.

Some of them even come prepared with cue sticks, chalk etc in a pouch. Snooker is designed for level headed gentle men.

At the end of the day, it all depends on your target market.
Yes I know mature guys play snooker they usually do so at exclusive places where you have other mature and responsible looking people

From the description OP gave the hangout he has in mind will likely be where the snooker table is placed outside in the open where all manner of touts can access...no responsible mature person will go there to play snooker

You can startup a fintech platform and be earning hugely as most banks are not reliable and overcrowded these period and many persons are embracing the fintech space in Nigeria.

For proper business consultation, you can chat me on WhatsApp https:///2347080126206
Op starting a fintech sounds good because the profits seem very fantastic but if you're hoping to creat the next Flutterwave or Paystack etc let me give you a list of the hurdles you have to overcome

- When setting up a fintech N30 million is a drop in the bucket, if you do not have very deep pockets or access to investors who are ready to support you don't venture near this business. You need acess to cheap funds and not loans because fintects have very high operating costs and long gestation periods

- If you are not technically inclined stay away from this business otherwise if a key employee or partner leaves the project you are bleeped!

-Technology evolves very fast these days therefore you may think you have a good idea but just when you're about to start reaping the benefits of your investment in a fintech a new technological development comes along and knocks you off the line

- Operating cost for fintechs are very high and a large proportion are fixed and unavoidable

- Fintechs have a lot of supervisory bodies and therefore need to prepare a lot of reports to show compliance (Among your supervisors are CBN, , NIBSS, EFCC etc). Be ready to maintain compliance with regulations and submit your records for periodic audits otherwise you will be paying fines on a regular basis

N30 million is not even enough to construct the smallest modular kerosine refinery!

I am thinking of starting outdoor games point business where people can come to play table tennis and snooker for a token fee of N100/N200 ,because in my area there is nothing of such and there are many drinking joints where people come around to drink, relax, eat fish etc .its always gets busy from like 3pm till like 11pm every day. you will even think they are having party because of the no of cars parked. Averagely, like 50 cars and about 150 persons come around there daily.

Pls i need your advise on this business ,the pros and cons . the viability of the business . Thank you.
You need to check the age range and financial status of the people who come there to hang out before you start investing in the business. Older and more mature people are not likely to be interested in playing snooker in Nigeria

That is because you're not acting accordingly. Nothing good comes easy. With the said some of investment amount you have in mind, you're supposed to be consulting professional business consultants and firms that will help you with well meaning business plan that will suit you not just mere nairaland post!
Moreover, you can check some of these ideas below;

You can startup a fintech platform and be earning hugely as most banks are not reliable and overcrowded these period and many persons are embracing the fintech space in Nigeria.
Although, I don't know your current location, however, Food is constantly essential. You can rent a shop and startup a restaurant, do some billboard advert and can as well digitize it by creating a website and/or app where people can order and get the food delivered around their area.
You can as well open a bakery. Here in my area, there is only one bakery and the area has a population of thousands of inhabitants and hundreds of shops. You can as well startup yours by employing professional bakers and doing your own unique style of baking the bread and doing home delivery and you can add ice cream and as well digitizing it to ease the business for you. Your capital is also a good one for starting up a lending business with very low risk having an automated web application for the business and getting your desired return on investment monthly.
You can also startup a food processing business and start with frozen food production. You can also start a private refinery business by starting up a kerosene depot. it's in high demand these period we are.
For proper business consultation, you can chat me on WhatsApp https:///2347080126206

I'm just being curious, is #20milion naira enough to start a transportation business in Nigeria?? Especially in places like Lagos, port-hartcourt, Abuja etc. And what are the requirements?

Just asking for my bro..
A new transport business in Nigeria requires the owner to be available to supervise it 100% of the time

If you are unable to do this then it's better for you to just leave your money in the bank where it is!

Alexvatt aka Reaszest aka Oluwahelpme the way you keep repeating this "I can sign a loan agreement" all over Nairaland as if it's a magic word...banks do not give loans just because you promised to sign an agreement.

The most important thing is to prove that the project is viable and that the loan is secure and will be paid back!

HOLYSEE:
Who else received a call from Bank of Industry requesting for CAC Number.
I submitted successfully my loan application weeks ago. Today I got the call from a regular line that I should send the CAC number. I am very sceptical as I already provided that info on the Regisgration portal. I hid my number and called the line after trying all BOI official line to no avail. The young man said he is a corper standing for the account officer in charge of my application, and since I am sceptical I should wait till he is on seat.
I asked him to send a mail, but said it's not within his jurisdiction to do that.
I want to know if anyone has been in my shoes before. Also can by BN number be used by fraudsters. Am I making a big mistake not sending or I should ignore
I NEED COUNSEL ASAP
THANKS
Ever heard of identity theft before?

Your Bn, BVN etc or any number that is unique to you could be used for fraud in which you could be implicated in something you don't know.

If you have doubts then I suggest you go tho there office physically!

Have read previously that bike delivery business is lucrative. But right now, things have changed or not.

For those still in the business, how is the business doing?

What genuine advice would you give prospective entrants.

Please kindly advise.

cc Lalasticlala
The fact is that the business is still good even though there is more competition now because of new entrants.

However, you need to be ready to contend with harassment by local government touts within the city. Apart from that you need to also bear in mind that the Lagos State government is planing to increase the annual licence fees for bike delivery businesses and the final amount should be in the neighbourhood of N5 million plus.

There are several other issues you will have to contend with but these are the key ones I can remember now
