ribadu is clueless and hes not winning president

but i mean tinubu is probably expecting that anyway

as smart/clever as tinubu (hes at par with obj)is he wouldnt put ribadu there and expect him to win

Ribadu doesnt have what it takes tinubu is only playing politics and wants to capture reps senator govs - i doubt hes thinking bout presidency

2015- is a different story  I KNO FOR A FACT RIBADU will not be presidential candidate or he will be kicked out ACN/ or leave.

ACN is just preparin for the future

Show me a wiki page of Ondo, Ekiti and Osun private industries.
hehehe I dey Laugh ohhhh - I dont rely on wiki written by weird random guys about their OWN hometowns LOL cool

But as far as industry Im not arguing who has more Industries- The west being down trodded is a phenom that started under the leadership of Obj'sMilitary Govt and PDP- Obj's "main stream Politics". rigging, assassination of good leaders, political violence do or die poltics etc

Of course the West has had probably the worst leadership in the Nigeria as whole by Objs Annointed PDP sons/govs Owambe govs etc.

So Im not arguing whether there is more industry in the west or east. Im sayin I dont see the point in Migrating to the East/SE AINT NOTHING THERE WORTH LOOKING AT FROM MY POINT OF VIEW . . . If the industries were booming wouldnt there be more Migration to the SE?  wink
PoliticsRe: Do Non - Northerners Support Buhari? by sbeezy8: 8:13pm On Mar 26, 2011
i support GEJ beause he is ibo/ijaw objs boy and maintains the status quo.

buhari will dictate private businnesses and kill industry
PoliticsRe: April Polls: Yoruba May Decide The Result by sbeezy8: 8:05pm On Mar 26, 2011
I mean can you compare New jersey or Detroit,Michigan to North carolina or Virginia?

LOL- As far I like it Lagos, Ibadan, Akure, Abeokuta - need to stay as cities while Osun and Ekiti states should stay largley rural and agric based economies.

the need for every SW state to be a booming city is not wanted BY MANY and is very unrealstic.

I'd rather have Lagos, Ibadan, Akure, Abeokuta cities booming, while the larger parts of the SW (Ogbmosho,Oshogbo,Ekiti ESP OSUN ) STAY RURAL AND QUIET like the suburbs in America.

Just show the industries in Osun and Ekiti as you will find in Aba, Nnewi, etc small cities like Osun and Ekiti.
LOL why are you comparing that with Osun and Ekiti with any state in th east ? I would expect smaller AREAS to have more industries because of a densely populated area. Thats common sense.

thats like asking what factories are in Ny/Detroit compared to Larger more rural states in the US.

Aigbofa:
That's right. When I said all of you ibos addicted to buying and selling are just sitting ducks, waiting to be to converted to factory workers, I was right.
i MEAN dis guy you are arguing for no reason because Industry in the east would be more where population is more dense

national unity ke?

hehe i dey laugh ooooo- obj

to be honest alot of people think obj is what nigerians need, someone who is sneaky, a liar, cunning, SMART, clever to keep this nigeria together and i must agree somewhat.

this ofcourse wont be the last lie- I dont  wish death on anyone but baba is getting old he is not immortal and cannot keep Nigeria together from his grave.

All these lies, tricks, ups and downs to keep nigeria together is crazy!

Chairman PDP BOT General Olusegun Obasanjo today at the Jonathan/Sambo "Grand Finale" Abuja Presidential Campaign Rally stated that as far as PDP is concerned “Zoning is very much alive, it is not dead, it was only suspended for the emergence of Goodluck Jonathan and will be re-introduced after Jonathan presidency.” I am totally against zoning, but clearly these people lied. What happened to all the talk about death to zoning and live to National unity? This is so decitful, what about all the adverts on united Nigeria? I actually beleived their lies.me sha I say No to zoning yes to merit
hehe I dey laugh ohh dis obasanjo guy is like something that cannot be explained -

i dont know what kinda dumb title this is - it CLEARLY SAYS OTHER TRIBES ASWELL.

mbatuku1:
The manner in which you bigots reason make me laugh.

Is yorubaland= only Lagos? How many yorubas invest in Ekiti and Osun states?

There's a property bubble and a massive market potential(due to the high pressure on accommodation by the huge population) going on in Lagos and spreading into Ogun. Who would not cash in on that? I already have a property in Lagos, and still developing 2 more in Ogun.

If Igbos have that kind of huge number of other ethnics in any of their cities, you think they'll invest much outside? I dont need to even buy properties, my  family's ancestral
lands will be big money for me.

You bigots are simply amazing in your foolish thinking.
I think its funny how some people think they are the only ones doing business in Nigeria? I mean its common sense Populations are increasing in the west WTF would I then take my money to the East or anywhere else?- thats from a business standpoint.

people were always coming to the west to live in Ibadan Lagos Akure Abeokuta- from 1800's so what yoruba person would feel the need to leave what money would I make outside yorubaland.  WE ONLY SEE PROFIT IN YORUBALAND- so whats the big deal?

you said you are developing property in Ogun state SO ARE MY PARENTS as well as Akure and  Osun. So why would any yoruba leave yorubaland when obvisously thats where the profit is?

and PLUS AINT NOTHING LIKE YORUBALAND HOME SWEET HOME LANGUAGE CULTURE ETC . . . other regions just are NOT HOT OR POPULAR.

Trading in basic commodities isn't going to be very profitable. . . meat, tomato, simply too widely available. Unless you are the guy who imports from the north and ships to the south.

Regarding the latter comment, maybe, I dunno. I certainly don't see ya'll doing anything better than us here in the US. But perhaps things are different in naija.
I don't have that attitude towards factory jobs. Personally I think they are kind of 'noble', somehow. I dunno. Maybe I'm romanticizing 'em because of the impact I know they had in the US and in China.
I dont look at factory workers in a negative aspect, I look at it from job creation and a starting point for anyone.

It's very important for south-westreners to go to school because that kinda seems like the only way they can make a livelihood. But for the Igbos it's a two way street. Whether you go school abi you no go you can still make it in life and big time for that matter.

And who says south-westerners don't trade. So according to you every south-westerner is thinking corporate including the Tomato and pepper sellers, The meat sellers. Pls guy be real. Everyone trades the only difference is that the Igbo people are better at it and do it at the highest level.
of course not all but most
pepper seller is temporary AGRICULTURE is what I want to do also but from a corporate aspect as well with meat seller. so I can give some farmers some jobs and put these cattle rearers out of business.

^-- Personally what I want to do is to pack the people of the SW into factories. Go the same route the US went, from a primarily agricultural society to a manufacturing one.

There are countless stories here of uneducated immigrant types working factory jobs to send their kids to school to become doctors, lawyers, etc.

China is pretty much doing the same thing. . .

Anyway, I think we know what we need to do in the SW, just need to do it undecided
I was thinking that exactly

theres soo MANY ELITE people in the SW sitting on Money. everyone cant be a business person some just need Jobs in the factories and up to managers.

its starting tho cause guys like Okoya, Folawiyo,Otudeko etc have manufacturing coporations. Thats where stocks come into play- so it cant be avoided

Big business is where its at honestly

Im tired of everyone tryin to sell everydamn thing from tooth brushes on the street to pure water its annoying.

Well said.

Igbos have proven beyond reasonable doubt that even illiiterates can become millonaire. It's not about having the Dangotes or Ibetos of this world but by having the wealth go round. The number of millonaires or billonaires of Igbo extraction is the highest of any African ethnic group. The so called white collar workers don't even earn a quarter of what those so-called Alaba illiterates make.
Id rather be a doctor prof/teacher/ lawyer/ Civil servant or coporate finance.

even if I can make 2 mili weekly trading in Alaba Godforbid.- even thinking about it is making my head hurt.

im not knocking it but dont mean shiot to me.

ekt_bear:
Agreed, not my style either.

Thing though is if you have a market of 18+ million people (Lagos State), then it can really be a gold mine.

But as I said. . . doesn't really add that much value to society, imo. Not much job creation, no value added (in terms of taking X, Y, and Z and making product A), etc.
true I mean thats why I think people esp in the SW are thinking in coporate term everyone cant be a businessman or woman.

and what some make trading can be less than what a teacher lawyer civil servant or someone who works for a coporation makes. I need ASSURED MONEY and SALARY till im ready to set up my own coporation the word Business doesnt mean anything to me. I can sell pencils and make little money and call myself a businessman

Volume sorts of things like retail, trading, etc can be pretty profitable. Imagine doing $1 million worth of merchandise a week, having a gross profit margin of 1% (which is fairly small.)

Trading has a bad rep amongst Yoruba, but if you do the math can be pretty good. . . assuming you can get the volume.
trading not my style - reminds me of my aunties who sell things in their shops LOL
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Sets Sights On Natural Gas by sbeezy8: 2:36am On Mar 26, 2011
@justcash great for ibos wink

If teaching a class, being a lawyer, being a doctor or sitting in an working is what they (yorubas) want to do thats fine.

But I cannot TELL YOU the amount of yoruba guys I know who ahve finished their grad school and have coporate business BACK HOME/West not in Japan buddy.

and I dont think Alaba boys make more money than me cause I dont even work yet - when I finish my grad school I have NICE COPORATE/WHITE COLLAR JOBS waiting for me in Naija wink

If alaba boys made more money than I doubt they would even be at Alaba smiley
