Sango, a person in recent times known for emiting smoke (maybe fire) from his mouth was or is the Oyo's version of Oramfe.

Ya timeline is wrong. Oyo didn't start in the 9th century - it started in the 15th century.

And the first Awujale was neither appointed by Oyo nor did it start in the 17th century. There was an Awujale and Ijebu kingdom before there was Oyo and there had been an Awujale from way back in the 14th century according to early European explorers.

According to Radiocarbon dating, the Oranmiyan staff in Ile Ife dates much older than the time Oranmiyan is purported to have lived.
I think there is so much History in Yorubaland prior to the dynasty of Oduduwa that is yet to be explored.
