The point is that there are no Hausa Fulani in Kwara. The Sulu Gambari by the name are Yoruba of Hausa descent. The Oshodi are Yoruba of Nupe descent and etc etc. Ilorin can not be forced, they will decide their fate to either stay alone or join their other Yoruba same with Ijesha, Ijebu and co. I believe Bariba should have a state with their lands in Niger state, Kwara and Benin republic probably with New Bussa as capital. The Tapa should take their land in Kwara and Niger, same with Igala and Ebira in Kogi.

What about Jebba, 100 km North of Ilorin in both Kwara and Niger state? If Ilorin want to be on their own, how can that be possible when they are encircled by the Igbomina, Jebba and Bariba? The Bariba were not conquered by the Fulani jihad due to their alliance with the Oyo in the 19th century while the Tapa were partly conquered and many Bariba and Tapa speak Yoruba naturally though many dont speak. The landowners in Kwara are Ibolo (Yoruba), Igbomina (Yoruba), Oyo (Yoruba), Bariba and Tapa. In Niger it is Tapa, Gwari, Bariba, Yoruba and maybe some Hausa. In Kogi West, we have Yoruba mainly but in Lojoja various groups like Tapa, Yoruba lay claim to the place.

There is a need for secession. We need our own army and police and control over our future and economy. We are one of the major ethnic groups in the world and we deserve to be a sovereign nation. IPOB want to break Nigeria, Boko Haram want to break Nigeria. This is the time to do it. No need for negativity. Nnamdi Kanu is in prison. Boko Haram are killing and bombing. We need to opt out and probably ask Bariba and Nupe, and Egun in Benin to go with us, then delineate the new country into traditional states, Ijesa, Ijebu, Ibarapa, Ibolo, Egun , Bariba, Oyo, Ife, Awori, Egba, Igbomina, Ibadan, Oke Ogun, Ogbomosho, Ekiti, Akoko, totalling around 20 traditional states with their own admin and a level of independence. Nations should be formed only by people who can easily allign interests. The Yoruba are one with same language, culture, origin and traditional theology. So there is a basis for being together unlike Nigeria where we dont speak a common language. For example many Hausas even down South here speak no Yoruba or English yet the Fon in Benin republic speak. We need to be steadfast about it.

No Yoruba group, city, town or village will join another group of course, unless forced, which no one will want to do and there are non Yoruba groups like Bariba, even Tapa that may want to be part of the new nation but no one should be forced and it is infact good for all to determine their destinies by themselves as independent nations where interests are easily alligned with their own police, army, economy and etc. The Yoruba will not say Asaba should join us just because they were in the Western region. The Igala will prefer to have their own nation rather hyan be a minority anywhere, so far they are not going to be open to any disadvantage whatsoever.
