Bevista:Some people do not know that correlation does not equal causation. Just because what Ubah said seem to coincide with the fall, does not mean he caused or "did" it. |
Ki lo kan mi..... ![]() Senseless deaths like this are one of nature's ways of weeding out the most useless members of a productive Society. |
kodded:And I thought Igbo IPOD Thugs said Buhari and Kemi Adeosun are responsible for the unofficial slide in the Naira, when greedy black market speculators were actually responsible. I keep saying it, until We (Most especially your types) remove tribalism from our national views, then we will be going around in circles. ![]() dunkem21:You and your fellow mumus that liked ur post are DUMB Of course the fall in in Oil prices has a lot to do with the slide in the value of the Naira, it is the same story in other commodity exporting countries Canada, Russia, Venezuela etc. But in Nigeria, silly cabals making undue profit in the underground parallel market sector made it even worse. That is why even this new exchange rate of 250 is still well below the official exchange rate of 199. And until Oil prices rise again, it will never reach pre oil crash exchange levels. Inugo? Oh, and it is Free fall of Naira , not free fall of Dollar. |
Useless post. I see nothing here. Also, of what use is the picture, if all the 36 states + FCT are not there for comparison? ![]() |
lol.... Very little actually Come to think of it, the largest employers of Igbos is petty trading (retailing)..... of which most of it is still carried out outside the South East. |
This is the absolute end of a woman's dignity. I feel sorry for these women. Imagine a woman passing out urine on her wrapper uncontrollably.... what kind of productive social life can such a woman live again? |
https://www.africamusiclaw.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Stephanie-Linus-Extended-Hands-Foundation-VVF-Project016.jpg Abakaliki — The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) yesterday said over 12,000 women are afflicted with Vesico Viginal Fistula (VVF) in Nigeria, with Ebonyi State having the highest of over 3,000 cases.http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/ebonyi-tops-in-vvf-cases-usaid/134900.htmlAccording to the Federal Ministry of Health, between 500,000 and 1,000,000 women/girls are living with VVF, and an estimate of up to 80,000 new cases are recorded annually. The maternal mortality ratio in Nigeria remains unacceptably high; adding that Nigeria contributing about 2.5% of the global population bears 10% of the global burden of maternal mortality and 40% of the global burden of obstetric fistula.USAID Deputy Mission Director, Aler Grubbs, who stated this in Abakaliki while handing over hospital equipment worth N47million to the Ebonyi State government, said the disease was ravaging women in Nigeria. http://allafrica.com/stories/201602230271.html |
This is exactly what our leaders are doing in their offices. Rich politicians stealing even more from the poor and disadvantaged. Only difference being that theirs is on paper and electronics..... |

Sorry I speak a Language (Yoruba), not a dialect So that question is not meant for my likes |
Olodumare, Olofi and Olorun are Yoruba manifestations of the Supreme God. Note: These is not the God in the bible, which is a jewish tradition. Their own God is Jehovah or Yahweh. Also Esu is not Satan or Shaytan. Esu is the Yoruba conduit God between The realm of the Gods and the Realm of man, while shaytan is the Jewish/Arab 'Anti-God" character..... |
Goodboiyy:lol, goodboiyy my friend, you are very funny. Olu is perhaps one of the commonest Yoruba words out there... what do you think names like Olumide, Olu Maintain, Olusola and words like Oluwa means? The king of Epe and Agege in Lagos are known as the Olu of Agege and Epe While this man below is the Olu of Ilaro in Ogun state. There are many more examples like that, scattered all over Yorubaland, from Togo to Ifon and Sobe on the Osse River. Of course, there are also the Olus of the Ilaje Yoruba Kingdoms. Like the Olugbo of Ugbo. Goodboiyy, both the words Oba and Olu, have nothing to do with the Binis.... you people might have borrowed a lot of words from Edo into your substrate Yoruba original vocabulary, but trust me, Olu is not one of them. |
Whatsapp now has Gay smileys so what? Was it made there for straight people? Simply use the smileys that concern you and continue your texting. See me see wahala o.. |
People do text in Yoruba, just that it isn't as common as English text. Because Yoruba language is not official in Nigeria, people see no need of making "formal" communications in it. If it were to be Official, the opposite would have been the case.... Like you rightly said, Most people speak the language well but do not text in it. In places like Tanzania where Swahili is official, people do almost everything in Swahili including texting. |
onuwaje:So, what does Olu mean in Bini language? |
ChetaNwaeze:Unfortunately for you, you have no say in the matter As you are inconsequential...... |
How come all these celebs open boutiques, stalls, restaurants, buy houses etc in Lagos, Abuja, Ph etc... but never do anything in their native towns and Villages? It is quite unfair, honestly. |
CastedDude:Must he lie down flat? He genuflected, while the other guy stooled like they do. That is enough. |
Hmmmmn |

Classicool:Was all of Kwara and Kogi categorised under the SW at the National confab? |
Why are the Idomas victimizing The Igbos like this? It is unfair o.... If the Idomas want their lands in Ebonyi and Enugu back, they should simply ask for it instead of beheading a sitting Eze ![]() |
Igwe of Nsukka must hear this..... https://myplaydiary.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/The-igwe-must-hear-this.jpeg Of to the Kwezuwenu Palace ..... |
