Acting Fifa president Issa Hayatou has congratulated Enyimba Football Club for winning the 2014/15 Nigeria Professional Football League title and has charged the team to give Nigeria good representation in Africa next year. The message was contained in a letter from the world football governing body to the Nigeria Football Federation and signed by Hayatou. "It gives me great pleasure to send my heartfelt congratulations to Enyimba and their indomitable team on this great achievement," the letter read. "This title is the result of the determination of everyone involved and my congratulations go to the players, the coach, the entire technical and medical staff, and the fans. "On behalf of the entire football family, I would like to thank Enyimba for helping to spread the positive message of football and I will like the team to give Nigeria good representation on the continent." Reacting to the congratulatory message, Enyimba chairman Felix Anyansi Agwu thanked Fifa for recognizing the achievement of the club and reassured the football body that the People’s Elephants will continue to pursue the values of fair play and sportsmanship. Enyimba emerged champions of Nigeria for a record seventh time with 70 points after a phenomenal season that saw the team suffer only six defeats, keep 19 clean sheets and win 19 games, five of those away from home. The club will represent Nigeria in next year's CAF Champions League. They have lifted the competition twice in the past. Russian President Vladimir Putin snubbed a meeting with Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Paris on Monday as the body of a pilot killed when Ankara downed one of Moscow’s warplanes was flown home. Turkish authorities, meanwhile, again pledged not to apologise over last Tuesday’s downing of the Russian jet as Moscow rolled out its sanctions aimed at exacting economic revenge on Ankara. Putin and Erdogan have been locked in a furious war of words since the incident and the Kremlin strongman rejected the Turkish leader’s offer of face-to-face talks on the sidelines of a climate conference in the French capital. “No meeting with Erdogan is planned. There is no discussion of such a meeting,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists. Moscow announced it will halt fruit and vegetable imports from Turkey after Putin signed a decree over the weekend banning charter flights and the sale of package holidays, and scrapping Russia’s visa-free regime with the country. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev called the moves a “first step” as Moscow also said it would limit Turkish transport firms and tighten controls on construction contracts. The authorities, however, stopped short of targeting Russia’s major joint energy projects with Turkey. source: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/putin-snubs-erdogan-in-paris-as-pilots-body-returns-to-russia/

The running mate to the late Prince Abubakar Audu in the November 21 governorship election in the state, Mr James Faleke, has vowed to reclaim the mandate of the people of the state given freely to the APC during the election. Faleke who has been picked as the substitute for the late Abubakar Audu, made this assertion while addressing hundreds of APC supporters in Lokoja on Monday. Quoting a section of the constitution while picking Mohammed Audu as his running mate, he pointed out that attempts to snatch power from the reins of the APC in Kogi State were fruitless as the party is poised to chart a new course for the state. He explained that there is no contention between him and the immediate political family of late Abubakar Audu and described the task ahead as a moral burden on him to fight on, till the victory of APC is accomplished. Going back to the primary election conducted on August 28, 2015, he noted that he remained the only person holding on to the votes cast for the APC. Some APC leaders from the three senatorial districts of the state were present as Mr Faleke made his decision known to his supporters. source of news, http://www.channelstv.com/2015/11/30/kogi-election-faleke-picks-audus-son-as-running-mate/

was like having my fantasy come true. Growing up I admired women on short curly hairs and I had a phobia for "Make-up"... (for history sake it's a personal thing. My mum and siblings do have "make-up" kits but I detest it and loved simplicity and it reflects on my designs...though I do get criticised that is "too simple" or "too economical"
)...I really got carried away starring at her, I had to alight from the bus I boarded that was going to P/Harcourt to board the bus she was about boarding to Enugun. I ensured I sat beside her
. After telling her all the zobos she giggled and later she started pointing out the lies....I felt like jumping out of the bus we became quiet until I told her Enugun was actually not my destination, that she made me board the bus. She couldn't stop starring at me in amazement. That was the turning point. She advised I alighted at a junction (Nine mile or so) so that I could easily board a bus to P/H. We exchanged contacts and I alighted at the crowded junction and boarded a bus to PH.

how disappointing!
