Same guy that rejected because he feared that he would fail with the players the club had, hence, the Chelsea-needed-10-players comment which Conte proved wrong.
Is that why you guys can't go a day without mentioning him? The name Pep is mentioned more on this thread than Conte grin

That is in the past.

Madrid would not beat last season's Juve over 2 legs. They would not have beat ATM of 13/14 or 15/16 over 2 legs too.

Fluke.
Are we gonna count the match against Bayern as part of the team 'buldozed'? I can't remember the haters talking about that match. Assuming we were the one that 'buldozed' Bayern is such a way........

You know the funniest thing.....if he scores against espanyol they will say he played against a small team bla bla bla.
That's what makes opposition/rivalry/hating interesting as fans sha grin
In those days when CR7 would score 3/4 goals against smaller clubs, guys would call him names and claim he couldn't do it against big clubs. It's just normal here and we are used to it already.

Arrrrh! If footballers are defined by 'raising' I should be in contention for the greatest footballer of all time. grin remembering those days when boys would be doing 1000 and counting with styles grin

We understand Dembele ain't Neymar in terms of everything football wise, make una just leave am for us. Judge him/us after three seasons.

Welcome to the best club in the world Dembele. You have the rare opportunity of playing under the tutelage of the greatest footballer of all time, thus enhancing your chance of becoming the best in the world in a foreseeable future.
This is wishing you play your game without allowing undue pressure and hype carry you away. You are stepping into the shoes bigger than you, all you need is to keep your composure, play your game and make the fans happy. There's no better club to play than FC Barcelona, just more than a club!

Congratulations to Madrid, the best team in the world presently.

Those of us that were around during Rijkard era believe strongly that this too shall pass. All I need while the phase passes?
Suarez should just find a new club during his spell on the treatment table. It can't be worse with Paco or anybody out there.
Bring in the kids from the academy, I don't care if this season is all about experiment
All the board members from top to bottom should be fired.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by sebod(m): 9:48am On Aug 14, 2017
When Deulofue was still at the academy, he was praised as the next Messi needing just fine tuning and lessons on how not to take on all the opponents before placing the next pass. I still wonder why his development has been greatly stalled ever since then. Same applies to almost all the academy players now.

Those expecting us to win big with the same last season Suarez should better be prepared for a long season.

Btw, bykebyke, you dey craze for that Paulinho gif oooo grin na to just faint the day he wears our jersey and runs into the pitch. I hope my wifey would be around to wake me up then.

and that is wrong too. people love controversies and that is why they are bringing this bullllshit up now. controversy sells. after the psg match, a lot of headlines were actually about how neymar stole the show and had a 10/10 performance. in fact a lot of captions were about how messi flopped against psg. neymar actually got his very due credit in the media after the psg game. abeg people should find another excuse for neymar abeg. messi really shared the line light with neymar and suarez, giving them assists, free kicks and pks. there were several stints when neymar went all goal droughts and messi kept on giving him pks and free kicks. several times last season he kept on throwing away chances and everything. abeg neymar or the media shouldn't bring any excuse. his camp should own up and agree they went for money and to be the top superstar in a team. we don't want that messi psg photo which only became something like a meme as a very convenient excuse from the media.
I just dey look Dmc with one eye for that his 'that's true' post.
I can't remember anyone even on this thread praising Messi over Neymar after that Psg game. Even the haters also joined us in praising Neymar to high heavens.
Like I said before, if Neymar was consistent last season and could put up such performance against Psg in the match against Juve and we ended up winning the UCL,everyone would be clamouring for him to win the next Ballon d'or over Messi.
I wish him success in his future endeavour, I just hate to be hearing/reading that he had to go because he was living in Messi's shadow.

Simply because he doesn't need the love of the fans. He fought Semedo, smashed Barca's jersey on the ground, went to Madrid dressing room and exited with two jerseys. Lol.

He is already a Madrid player but will be unveiled in 3 years time.

And please, can we just stop the Neymar this, Neymar that thing on this thread? He ain't our player anymore, so I feel we should concern ourselves more with our players or potential players. Ahh!
We have clueless guys handling our club affairs. It's a pity.

€222M and you are asking for add-ons? Why do you think add-ons are provided at all?

If Neymar leaves, kudos to him. The game is about money finally. He is better than whoever we would use to replace him but we can still get good players to work in our system.

I have no grievances for him or his dad. Most of us here would do same.
Most of us would do same, but not in the way and manner at which it's done. Why all the drama? Why not leave gently and still find a way of having the fans on your side?

Praise him biti bawo? Firstly, I am a football fan and a fan of FCBarcelona. But I also like Ney, that is a fact. FCB ain't FC Neymar or Messi FC. Nah... It's FCBarcelona and that's the one and only club I'm in love with.

As much as I don't have and won't hold anything against him leaving, considering the circumstances... It would really be disheartening to me if he leaves in such a fashion. Well, it seems he is more out now than in. So, at this juncture it shouldn't be a case of if he leaves, but a case of when, as it's just a matter of time before he leaves, but he would surely leave.

My only worry honestly is that there is no one that can replace him presently. And knowing how much we so rely on our forward line, it would be very difficult going forward. I sometimes laugh at the cluelessness of some of us who tend to disregard him using Pedro, since Pedro was largely successful with the club. Same people forget that then and now aren't same in any way. With our midfield then, you could put me upfront and I won't disappoint.cheesy But during Lucho's time, and coincidentally too, the heavy legs of Xaviesta, it became difficult doing it from the midfield. Plus, the additions we've had over the last few years aren't anywhere near the aforementioned duo. Hence, the focus shifted entirely to the fearsome 'MSN' triumvirate. And taking away one of the major catalyst of such fellows is gonna be disastrous to say the least.

His replacement, well not necessarily his replacement, but someone or players to help fill the void to some extent would need to be technically astute too. Would honestly have loved to have Sanchez back if it would warrant it. IMHO, he would be the best bet at this juncture.

Meanwhile, as for Ney and his drama... I just don't have anything to say about him. But the truth is, I'm tired. And as much as it would hurt to admit this, he should just go already. Because with this saga that ensued, if he ends up not going, especially with the commotion, bitterness and the unrest he has caused the club, his teammates and the fans, it would be very difficult to win back the love. More like a 'lost love'... Very difficult to win back. I'd definitely wish him well in his new quest and I hope he finds what he seeks. Still like him though. Infact, nothing he has done would take away the likeness I have for him. But to say the truth, I don't want him in my club anymore. I'm fedup with this melodrama.

So, it's as obvious as the sunlight now that he is definitely leaving. I don't see him as a Barça player anymore.

But will the €222m be worth it? I honestly doubt that. Yeah, that's a huge sum of money. But then, what's the use of having alot of money and you either don't know what to do with it or you can't get something that would make you happy or bring about some positives? If it could be well utilised, then I say let's do it. Even if the money would be squandered, we have nothing to say because the lad has seemingly chosen to head out rather than remain. Why hold him back? Leave him be... I wish him good luck though. But e pain me sha.cheesy
Well said bro!

They way the whole saga is playing out, neymar has already turned the fans against himself. He should not expect any warm welcome at the Nou Camp whenever we are playing against PSG.
With all the 'tearing of shirt, collecting Madrid shirts' palava, I will not be surprised seeing Neymar in Madrid jersey in two/three years. The whole saga is quite disgusting considering the love, support and every thing the fans have shown him.

As regards his replacement, he might not have any upgrade out there presently, but believe me, if not for the clueless nature of the useless board we have, replacing Ney wouldn't be a tough nut to crack. All we need is a relatively skillful player with an eye for goal. We would be fine. We won everything before Neymar. We will survive his departure.
He's let me down, I must confess!
