So if the national assembly approves the INEC budget, its that certificate forger Adeosun that would still approve its disbursal with her signature as finance minister?
Yet we wonder why we are regressing as a country.

chris51:
When Rotimi Amaechi was Rivers State, he dealt with cultists. We had peace.
With Wike, cultists are celebrated. Ateke Tom who was terrorising Rivers State is now celebrated by Wike.
Rotimi transformed schools. Go and see modern primary schools he built in all Local Government Areas.
He built clinics.

For his re-election, he campaigned that he would build 60 clinics in 60 days and he did.

The problem he had with his people is that he said he was not going to share money. He used the money for infrastructure. This is why Rotimi Amaechi is dearly loved by non-indigenes.

I am not from Rivers State by birth but I lived there for more than 30years.

I tell you with all conviction that he is a self disciplined man and does not tolerate nonsense.
You speak like the typical Nigerian brainwashed by politicians.
Please use your commonsense and stop speaking fallacy of things you don't know about.
You are supporting a crook with brainwashed conviction.
Politics › Re: Godswill Akpabio Visits Bola Tinubu In Abuja After Meeting With Buhari In London by seborrhic: 5:07pm On Aug 06, 2018
Buhari,Tinubu,Akpabio, birds of the same oozing corrupt plumage.
There is now a definite way of identifying Buhari's political associates:massively corrupt individuals that raped their states, ministries, parastals or agencies blind.
Politics › Re: Akpabio"s Defection : The Hypocrisy Of President Buhari's Anti Corruption War by seborrhic: 12:25pm On Aug 06, 2018
Was there ever an anti corruption war in the first place?I say not.
It was a campaign tool that immediately got exposed for the propaganda it was as soon as Buhari as President was himself put to 2 of the simplest tasks a claimed corruption fighter should undertake;
-Declare your assets,he hid under ambiguous language to give at best a mockery of the term.
-Show us your claimed army hidden or removed certificate using your authority as President and Commander-In-Chief to compel whoever you claimed removed it during the campaigns to retrieve same.
What we got was an assemblage of almost 100 SANs to defend a purported stolen certificate!
My brother the corruption fight is meant for only the dimwitted and arse lickers. There is none.

When I saw the picture of Ekweremadu on his knees being prayed for by Priests from various christian denominations,I just laughed and wondered if God himself would not be turning in his citadel at the mockery being made in his name.
Ekweremadu has not for one day debunked owing assets traced to him,and has not also accounted on how he came upon the funds to amass such multibillion naira,if not dollars assets,in choice locations in the world.
But as someone said, what makes his case likely to fall on its face is that as soon as he decamps to APC or supports this governments monumental incompetence, bigotry and parochialism he would become a saint.
The tragedy of a goverment based on incompetence, bigotry and clannishness.
Politics › Re: Ganduje: Why Hafiz Abubakar Resigned As My Deputy by seborrhic: 10:21am On Aug 06, 2018
If its 'just N150m' that the deputy governor is alleged to have overspent on trips that is this man's offence, then the man is a relative saint in today's Nigerian political dispensation.
Let the governor tell us how much he has spent in the same time period on the same items and give account of his security vote for all to compare and contrast and give judgement on the saint and the sinner.
I am pretty sure the deputy will come out relatively looking like a rare breed amongst his peers and a 'simpleton' for being too frugal, compared to his governor.

Christianity Etc › Re: Primate Ayodele: If Saraki Runs, PDP Will Win 2019 Presidential Election by seborrhic: 12:11pm On Aug 05, 2018
Please which state can Saraki win aside Kwara with a marginal victory?
That Dakwambo guy on paper looks the most qualified and most likely to attract widespread votes, but doesn't seem to have the war chest or people willing to afford him that war chest.
That's why, despite all his issues,I still feel Atiku is the most formidable and ready candidate to take on Buhari.
He can garner support from significant areas of the north, lest North East and would have the loyal backing of governors and voters from SE,SS,marginal overall victory from Middle Belt with battle ground states being SW.He has substantial personal war chest and can draw upon the support of some state governors and party chieftains to add to that war chest because they know he would repay loyalty with favors.
Despite Obasanjo's own misgivings, there is no doubt Atiku also,as any other candidate, would make a far more better president than Buhari.
Dakwambo looks like the desired, but Atiku is the most probable able to defeat Buhari.
Saraki stands no chance beyond Kwara.

If Emery sees Vida as a good defender to solve Arsenal's defensive crisis, then I will begin to doubt his acumen as a manager.
Vida is just an average defender, despite Croatia reaching the world cup final.
He is not an upgrade on the average ones arsenal has like Mustaphi,Kochieny, etc.

A party that claims to fight corruption is literarily throwing a rock star like party for one of the most corrupt governors this present democratic dispensation or even any at that, has produced, after getting assurances of no-prosecution if he joins APC.
You are even here gloating over it instead of hiding your head in shame and throwing up.
Lots of you on both political divide are real sick and repugnant.
Politics › Re: Dankwambo Declares His Intention To Contest For President Under PDP by seborrhic: 8:52pm On Aug 04, 2018
On paper formidable but does he control or can he garner a vast war chest?I think not.
Whoever will defeat APC would need a formidable war chest, despite the fact that any candidate would be far better than Buhari, because this government and its cronies in the states are ready to outdo Jonathan in emptying the treasury to ensure that buhari is not defeated.
That's why in as much as the likes of Atiku and Saraki have issues of their own, aside being far more intellectually and even commensically more adept than Buhari, they have on their own and can also draw enough war chest that will make a Buhari reelection a herculean task.

Politics › Re: Why Is No One Talking About Fayose's Presidential Ambition? by seborrhic:
An incumbent governor that couldn't deliver his state, yet you are here talking about a presidential ambition. You funny.
For all his dramatics, the Ekiti election just ended up exposing fayose as a street jester and poor tactician who had no real pulse of the state.
A deft politician on the ground would have had an inkling of the money buying game Fayemi and APC were planning and either outbid them or neutralized with schemes of his own if he knew he couldn't outbuy voters.
Here was a touted stomach infrastructure governor who ironically enough didnt realise Ekiti voters would go with whoever pays them better,be it a herdsman, terrorist or flagbearer of such labelled party.
But Fayose was more prepared clowning around than strategizing.
He should go and resuscitate his failed poultry farm and leave politics for serious fellows.

So Akpabio that is under investigation by the EFCC for monumental fraud and squandered billions of oil revenue accrued to Akwa Ibom state for 8years,is now a beautiful, much sought-after bride of the APC government?
Day has broken and the corrupt haven of blood sucking demons is now showing everyone that corruption fight was just a gimmick for the theatre of clowns.

The level of intellect in some here on nland is becoming abysmally reprehensible.
The Op made it look as if Dogara made any statement atall, talkless of the one he daftly coined him to have made.
Even with the copy pasting this Op did, nowhere was it stated that Dogara was present;just a party chieftain in his local government giving his own view.
That a poster cannot be able to read well, understand and correctly put across what he has read, and comes to nairaland to open a thread based on his intellectual deficit,is a sad tragedy of the calibre of people that want to drive discourse here.
Pls Op,go back to reading and comprehension classes. You need it.

Governor Udom Emmanuel in just his first tenure is about to make Akpabio as irrelevant politically in Akwa Ibom state,as then Governor Orji made his own predecessor and benefactor,Orji Uzor Kalu.
Very soon Akpabio, like Orji Uzor would turn another arse sniffing chief advocate of Buhari,in exchange for the slow and gradual disinterest in his humongous rap e of the Akwa Ibom treasury by the EFCC.
