There are some parents of today that I would indeed like to SLAP HARD!! But there are some parents of today even the young ones that I do rate for trying. People have to remember that in today's society, kids tend to have more rights than the parents, so even talking to your child in a certain way can be perceived as 'emotional' or 'mental' abuse. You can't discipline your child without someone, be it neighbour, friend or teacher who will think your too harsh or too soft.

I have witnessed children who steal because their parents do it, who have no repsect for people because their parents don't etc etc. Some people are just not responsible.

I've learnt over the years to be independent, before I got married, I did my housework myself.

Sharing chores doesn't mean your wife can't cope without you, or you're less of a man for helping out. It's a way of spending quality time with your girlfriend / wife, letting her know you appreciate her as a woman and partner. It's a way of making her feel loved, and that she's different from a house maid.

I still share certain household chores with my wife, and I'm still alive. I haven't lost anything as a man either.
