I can boldly say that, the difference between Lagos and Texas... Is not so much.. Because, in Texas.. Most of the High Ways has Tolls. The difference is that, the officials in charge which is refer to as the City don't stop you to pay daily as you go through the Tolls. What they do, is refer to as advance Toll fee collection. The camera's on the Toll whatever takes snaps your number plate and the Bill will be sent to your house.. Whatever address that Car title is registered in. What Fashola is doing, makes me proud to say that I am a Nigerian once again. This man has Vision, he is a world leader. I am a Waffarian.. from the City Of Warri, Delta State. But each time I fly into Lagos, I feel more relaxed than else where. Americans were able to develop their country because everyone is paying their fair share... Some people who ply those Tolls on the Highway to work, pay as much as $75usd - $150usd Monthly for their Toll fee's = 12,000 Naira - 23,000 Naira. Just recently, I drove pass the Highway, forgot there was Toll there, cause me I nor still like the toll fees with brain... They sent me ticket of about 6 dollars or 4 dollars.. I ignored it and within two weeks or three weeks later. They fined me for not paying the less than 6 dollars toll fee.

Please Support Fashola, the man has good intention, but the process of change sometimes, has a lot of inconviences... Is not doing all this for himself, is doing it to better the life of Lagosians... We all agree that lack of stable power supply is a one of the major problems hindering the growth of the economy. Imagine how many SMEs have closed shop and many others battling with running cost tied to power supply. Before we start throwing temper tantrums, I would suggest a cursory look at the transaction documents for the privatization of PHCN. The tarrif quotes herein is still amongst the cheapest in the world and is based on a worst case scenario analysis which implies that once the human and capital infrastructure is on ground prices will eventually fall in line with market forces. Besides, we'll all want stable power supply yet we don't want to pay for it. Of course, the PHCN workers will frown at this because it will no longer be business as usual for them and it has been stated that prepaid meters will be installed so we only get to pay for what we use. I was in Nigeria recently and was surprised when I saw a saw a friend leaving his outdoor lights on in broad daylight yet he will complain when he is slammed with a huge bill. In the US, I pay on average twice of what is proposed in the new tarriff, bearing in mind that I live alone and spend not more than 6-7 hours at home daily. God bless Nigeria!

afam4eva: I won't use human development to rank our governors because they have failed in that regard but based on infrastructural development I'll give it to:

Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state: This guy has not left anyone in doubt that he's serious about making Akwa Ibom the model state in Nigeria. He has made the state to be able to compete with Abuja, infrastructure wie. No state can boast of that.

Sullivan Chime of Enugu state: This guy is not a noise-maker despite the giant strides that he's formulated in the coal-city state. He has been able to bring back what the state was known for and has also attracted outside investments thereby making Enugu a mix between Calabar and Lagos.

Chibuike Amaechi of River state: Considering the fact that he took over in a state that was weeping for development as previous state governors had gang-rapes the state to a paulp, Amaechi has succeeded in taking the state to a pedestal where it has become a reference point for other state governors.

Babatunde Fashola: where many people will give him pass mark for, is, bringing sanity to Lagos state. People thought Lagos could not be governed properly considering the nature of the state with a population that has pushed the state to it's limits but Fashola has proven that where there's a will there's a will.

Let me kindly add some fringe Governors that we should watch out for. They are Rochas Okorocha of Imo state, Oshiomole of Edo state etc.
