That problem must be peculiar to you. All the shortcuts - fastforward, rewind, stop/play, increase/decrease volume etc work perfectly on all the TTpod versions (3.10 - 3.63) I've used on N73 and N95. Try confirm from E-series users.

http://www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/blige_hauls_off_on_husband_o32W7IKFja08UXzRipJiHI

Mary J. Blige punched husband Kendu Isaacs in the face at her record release party at club M2 Tuesday night. The singer slugged Isaacs, drawing blood, after she thought he was flirting with a waitress. "She turned to him and was screaming, 'You're not going to ruin my night,' " our witness says. "They got up in each other's faces before someone tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped [Isaacs] in the face." The source said Blige, Isaacs and their entourage were whisked through a door to the attached club Pink, which was closed. Our witness relates, "She was yelling at him, 'What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?' Four of her bodyguards and two of the club's kept them apart." Isaacs was kicked out. Blige went to the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup, but soon fled, creating an uncomfortable scene for partygoers Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Busta Rhymes. Her rep said only, "People lie and don't know what they're talking about."

PTF REWARDS AMODU, EAGLES

For qualifying Nigeria for the 2010 World Cup, the Presidential Task Force on Monday night in Abuja, presented Super Eagles Head Coach Shuaibu Amodu with a brand new Kia Sportage SUV and the sum of N1.4 million.

Sports Minister and vice chairman of the PTF Sani Ndanusa, said the gift was in recognition of the coach's success in getting the country the World Cup ticket.

Amodu's assistants were given N500 000 each, while each of the players received a Longines wristwatch.

The presentation was made at a dinner organised for the squad by the Nigeria Football Federation in Abuja on Monday.

Thirteen players were present at the occasion.

Nothing bad in rewarding the players and the coaching crew but IMO the disparity between Amodu and his assistants is just too much.

Martins and Ikechukwu Uche out due to injury and now Adefemi Olubayo, Dele Adeleye and Femi Ajilore dropped by Amodu. I ain't happy about this but hell, the bulk rests and stops on his table so I'll say carry go.

MARTINS, ADELEYE OUT OF AFCON
POSTED: 2009-12-30 15:27

Wolfsburg striker Obafemi Martins and seven other players have been cut from the Nigeria squad for next month's African Nations Cup by coach Shuaibu Amodu.

Also joining Martins on the chopping block are the Europe-based quartet of defenders Dele Adeleye and Adefemi Olubayo, midfielder Femi Ajilore, striker Joseph Akpala and the home-based trio of Chibuzor Okonkwo, Akpan Bassey and Ikechukwu Ibenegbu.

Amodu has been locked in meetings for most of Wednesday with members of the NFF's Technical Committee, and while a final decision has not been reached, a source at the meeting told KickOffNigeria.com that Martins and the others were out.

Martins, who scored the goal that sealed Nigeria's World Cup place, had surgery on a shin problem earlier this month but was expected to be fit in time for the tournament.

However, a source at the NFF told KickOffNigeria.com that the player and the other six would not be part of the squad to Angola.

This means Amodu will travel to South Africa with 25 players, leaving him with just two more players to decide on before the January 1 deadline to submit his squad to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

kokoye:
If you are in the business of talking and you work with foreigners who speak with an accent different from yours, it is either you are able to communicate efficiently with people or you get fired. In the process of trying to do this, your pronounciations will definately begin to change after a while, regardless of how old you are (although it might be tougher for older folks).  Now imagine being in this kinda job for several years, yes, you may start talking with an accent that might be not as perfect as the indigenes'.   So then when you return to your native country after sevral years, people tend to think you are posing and that is why most people choose to speak yoruba / igbo so as not to hear some of the rubbish being rolled out here.

But if you are in a foreign land and your job has little or no interaction with other people, then your dictations might not change.

Now the people who lived in naija all their lives watch movies and of course wannt to talk like their favorites actors in the western world. And when we think about it, dont we all in one way or another ??

Whether you choose to accept it or not, we all tend to present ourselves in a positive way - a way the listener will be able to easily understand and appreciate.

I dont hear you complain about Paul Adefarasin - he talks that way to expand his crowd.

Haters.
Guy, you don chop?

Nigerian MEN hold the title on fake accents. Even growing up in London we used to call them JaFAKEans, when they put on a fake Jamaican accent. The girls do it now, but its far less common with them. They do the same thing in Ghana, especially the girls.

its an inferiority complex, they obviously are ashamed of their accent. Its an African thing to prefer everything which is foreign over your own.

I love the way Nigerian men start something, it catches on, then it completely becomes the creation of the Nigerian women in their minds.
Duh! The truth is the girls fake accents more than the men. Wetin man need na just 'kudi' to impress babes but been fine isn't enough for the average 9ja chic. She gats carry accent join too.'
