pete, since you don't want us to dispute your assertions and you're saying Nigeria is so bad, my advice is that you should stay where you are. That would be better for you, better for us, and better for Nigeria. Thanks.

My advice is that you should visit the official Cisco NetPro Forum to ask this question since they have more experience with what works in the UK.

What's your source, please?

Nice list. In the past, I would have liked to beat all of those software companies. I'm proud to say I once had the opportunity to chat with Mr. John Obaro of Systemspecs (second company in the list) about what it takes for a developer to succeed in the Nigerian software business.

Thanks, Layi, for recognizing that she's fine. Can you show me the interviews in which she made man-hating statements, or tell me what you remember her saying? I support feminism in terms of making opportunities available to women, but not in terms of 'hating' men because I am a man too!

K2, I appreciate your gift. Thanks. Now the next step is to deliver Rita Dominic physically to my address on Christmas Eve. grin

Nairalanders, see me see trouble o! Rita Dominic does even not know I exist, so my 'love' for her is not that much o!

However, I think Rita Dominic good at what she does and is very charming on video. Unlike some other personalities in the Nigerian entertainment scene, she knows how to play to her strengths. For example, she discovered one or two hairstyles that fit her very well and she sticks to them most of the time. And I can trust her not to release any man-hating music video.

ComputersRe: Which Laptop Should I Buy? (Budget: $1200) by Seun(mod): 9:51pm On Dec 12, 2005
Hello,

Wow - one would have to be in the Laptop selling business to be able to help you with this. Since your main reason for dropping the HP Pavilion dv1000 seems to be the poor technical support, you should start by chosing the manufacturer you want (Dell works for everyone, right?) and then posting the specifications of various laptops that are close to what you want. Then we will able to help you choose the best for you.

Good luck!
RomanceRe: My Male Friends Always End Up Proposing Marriage by Seun(mod): 9:40pm On Dec 12, 2005
Think of it this way: what do you have to offer that would make a man want to put the effort of maintaining friendship with you with no strings attached? Nothing? I thought so! Why should they spend all that energy trying to please you if they are not going to get anything in return? Why should a young man be made to labour so hard to keep you interested in him if at the end of the day there's nothing in it for them? huh

TravelRe: Many Die in Nigerian Plane Crash (Sosoliso) by Seun(mod): 11:38am On Dec 12, 2005
So the lives of the 107 passengers of the plane were entrusted into the hands of one incompetent engineer who risked (and lost) his own life over a plane that wasn't in perfect condition because he felt it "will be alright".

This should remind us that we shouldn't take stupid risks just because they have paid us in the past. Just because you did something risky yesterday and nothing bad happened doesn't mean that all will be well today. It also suggest that just because someone is willing to risk his life for something doesn't mean that it is right. The pilot felt that since the engineer was willing to board the plane, then it must be alright. Now that he's too late we know he was wrong to have risked the life of the passengers just because the aircraft engineer was wiling to risk his own life.
