ambassagod:For what intelligent purpose did the designer design diseases like AIDS, Ebola, flu, catarrh, Smallpox, the plague, etc which have killed billions?
|
DoctorAlien:Are you kidding me? You believe that man is made of soil? Women are made of rib bone? That light was created before the sun? Why do we look like shaved chimpanzees if we were created in the image of God? Was the chimpanzee also created in the image of God? Oh my goodness! |
hopefulLandlord:Yeah, it's a classic tactic by apologists. It is easier to manufacture bullshit than to expose it, so they just overwhelm us with torrents of bullshit. |
HardMirror:I hope they will answer this. Ambassagod, Anas09, DoctorAlien, can you tell us about your superior alternative to the theory of evolution? |
4kings:I think they're not perfectly accurate, but scientists are aware of the limitations of their accuracy, which is why they use many dating methods. |
WORLDPEACE:The scientific community is the most skeptical group of people in the world. What is the probability that a bunch of religious apologists on Nairaland have noticed game-changing flaws in the theory of evolution that the scientific community didn't notice during 157 years of intense study? I welcome any honest scrutiny of the theory of evolution, but it is absolutely bonkers to claim that you have "exposed it as a fraud". |
Yes, this is not surprising. Many Nigerians would want to withdraw funds for the holidays. |
Trying to discredit evolution is just silly. Even the Catholic church, which rejects contraceptive use, accepts evolution. Stop disgracing yourself! This is not to say that I don't welcome questioning of evolution, but do you think smarter people haven't asked the same questions since 1859? |
Why is it taking so long to complete the test? |
FriendChoice:The maximum size is now 12pt because people were abusing the feature. |
Toks2008:The cost of an entry level private jet can be much less than that. It can be "just" a few million dollars. What if the pastor's ability to travel all over the world with less stress enables him to preach all over the world more easily and convert more souls to Christianity as a result? |
yorhmienerd:Really? What about private universities and media publishing? Are these not businesses? Don't the pastors in question own such businesses? Mind you, this 'business men' are old enough to some extent to have grown up kids, going around to mock them is utter disrespect, I hope you know that?I'm not mocking anyone. Why do you keep saying this? |
yorhmienerd:You don't think providing people with spiritual services (music, moral instruction) in exchange for 10% or more of their income is a business? |
adeaks:Weve posted the correct video. Hope people get to see it. |
For someone like Pastor Adeboye or Bishop Oyedepo, yes. Anyone who runs a huge multinational business empire needs a private jet. It's better for security, less stressful, and less time consuming. The time and security of the CEO of a multinational corporation is worth the cost. |
I appreciate religious people who try to gather evidence to support their beliefs. I'll address these stories as soon as I can. |
adeaks:Yikes, pls let's find out the name! |
The site search is not like google. But it has some strong advantages. It complements the google type of search. |
How are they treating the infection? |
Mimzyy:Not really. If you don't like a post, post a reply explaining what you have against it, and people who feel the same way will like your reply. |
ElsonMorali:But I'm not mocking anything. I've learnt that once you become an atheist you can't tell religious jokes anymore. Every little joke is mockery. The post you responded to is perfectly innocent. I just want to know if that video clip is the video clip that Pastor Bamiloye was unhappy about. |
Drienzia:Sorry. It's how forum search normally works. What kind of results were you expecting, exactly, for that search term? (Honest question) |
momentarylapse:Tell me more about this instability. I are you referring to the too many redirects issue on the home page seen on some networks? And why can't you start allowing peeps tag large videos to their posts through an upgrade?Hosting bills, I guess. What s the source of the videos? Can they be hosted on YouTube? And why the _fuck was I able to accidentally log into some guys sammyguzzie or whatever account even though I don't have his password and don't know him! That really should be impossible. What network were you on when this happened? |
I think Pastor Bamiloye is right to be worried. Comedy makes it easy for people to notice the absurdities in certain things they believe or do. |
The idea of throwing her plastic legs at her is so unnecessary and stupid that I don't think this actually happened. No Nairalander is that evil. |
harveyspec:He was drugged and placed in there and the cement hardened before he could free himself. Someone wanted to kill him without spilling any blood, basically. |
That's base 2 arithmetic. What the OP is saying doesn't really make any sense. |
1 + 1 + 1 = 11 |
From the link Gift101 provided: During one of our Holy Ghost services in Nigeria, the power of God was present and several miracles were happening around the altar. As a result, many people were standing up to catch a glimpse of what was responsible for the widespread excitement. There was a man in the congregation who was very short and could not see what was happening because others were taller and were blocking his view. Then with a strong desire, he whispered Oh Lord, I wish I was taller, and the Almighty God, who knows the voice of everyone, made him two inches taller. This is an amazing story, but why should we believe it? We don't know the young man's name or how the change in height was measured. |
4everGod:You should post the verse that says it's a sin to own a slave, and that any Christian who owns slaves must free them or face eternal damnation. |
