Lexusgs430: It seems a windows 10 and nairaland compatibility issue. I sign into nairaland via Microsoft Edge through the spirit world, I get an email notifying me of sign in, but it's only signed in, abstractly not physically. Chrome signs in on the laptop, so I default to chrome when signing in to nairaland!!!
Was this ever fixed? The browser must have rejected our cookies, I guess...
Ayinke93: ... He said he has always been atheist even before he started Nairaland. But this screenshot below says it all.... Which lord was he referring to in that conversation... Oga seun is just trying to be controversial
Lord Evidence of Reason, of course. Look, at the time, I would have blessed Nairalanders in Arabic if I thought that would increase our traffic.
I posted this comment below on 23 September, 2005:
I lost my religion several years ago and I mourned the loss for less than 2 years. You're afraid of hell, right?
tessywithsexy: Tithing, circumcision, ceremonial washing, Saturday worship, holy days, dietary laws, Temple worship, stoning, all are part of the Old Testament law. Do them all or NONE AT ALL. Gal 5:1-3
That's the correct position from a biblical point of view.
crosbreaka: The main problem is the Saudi promoted Wahhabi ideology which has contaminated Sunni Islam. And the influence of Wahhabism stinks in every division and infighting among Sunnis and Shias.
Yea. Even here, Sunni muslims have claimed that Shias are worse than Boko Haram, which is astonishing and revealing. What have they done?
This is the right thing to do, but Sunni muslims would rather burn themselves alive than punish fellow Sunnis for killing Shias/Shiites. Sunnis hate Shiites almost as much as they hate non-muslims, despite the fact that Sunnis and Shias practice Islam in almost exactly the same way.
Hiploko: keep quiet... You think you know something when you don't.. Minutes of the last guiders meeting stated they are fully aware and are creating a new GH system to handle that... Now vamoose!
Nigerians are quite smart. You can trick them for a short time, but once their eyes are opened, they won't fall for the same trick a second time.
khalids: Seems this is the easiest topic for bloggers to generate traffic now.....it so obvious that the pics is photo shopped.....At the top it says 40% and at the bottom it says 30%......
I visited the site to confirm it but the url has been blocked by our filter. The new Kenya MMM website is kenya dash mmm dot net.
Yet Kenyans will still fall for it, just as Nigerians fell for it despite its failure in other countries and the jailing of the founder for fraud. Sad.
Visit kenya dash mmm dot net to see the new site for yourself. All the testimonials currently there were posted yesterday, so it's really new.
valdovas: I know many ordinary participants and guiders that have pledged to provide help on the site even before the temporary freeze and their pledge is still upstanding on the site even when they can easily withdraw it and cancel it.
valdovas: Even on my MMM whatsapp group many people have faith in the system and are talking of providing help in January.
Making pledges and talking about providing help is nothing. Talk is cheap! When it's time to actually transfer the money, they won't be able to do it. Some people who made profits because they joined early might risk a fraction of their profits, but it won't be enough to save MMM.
valdovas: Finally, I hope the scheme comes up in January -- it should actually -- so that people can pull their money.
But their money is not in MMM. Their money has been given away to participants who joined MMM earlier than them, including the organizers of MMM and the top guiders who withdrew millions just before MMM crashed. The money you see when you log into the MMM website does not exist anywhere. It's not in any bank account. It's just numbers on a computer, which is no better than your likes on Nairaland. If MMM is reactivated in January, everyone will immediately try to get help and and it won't work because nobody would be stupid enough to provide help.
4evergod, your original post seems to be a plagiarised work. You copied content from websites and didn't link to them. This is against the rules.
Please add direct links to the sources immediately so you won't be banned for violating rule 9: "Don't use Nairaland for illegal acts, e.g scams, plagiarism, hacking, gay meetings, incitement, promoting secession."
justscorchone: Oga Seun, is there anyway to tell if this puppies are purebreeds, sorry for tagging you but I dont know the questions to ask, want to get one.
Meet their mum and ask the seller for the mating pictures. Also, use Google Images to find pictures of puppies of the same breed and age.
KealDrogo: Introduce the option to modify profile name. This is very important. A lot of nairalanders need this option. Instead of creating a new profile just to modify profile name. Consider this.
It is usually counter-productive for the community as a whole. Pick your username wisely so you won't have to change it!
KealDrogo: Seun; this is not related to this topic but hear me out. I can't create a Topic for the past months i registered on your site. There is no option to create topic on my profile why? Is creating a Topic restricted for some people only or what?
The create topic button can be found on the section where you want to post the topic.
I felt I just needed some enlightenment so I didn't bother opening a new thread.
Please why is it that i can see people's signature on their posts. i noticed from screenshots that people can see other nairalanders' signatures from their regular posts.
is it because I am not using the nairaland app?
I have used various browsers on my phone to access Nairaland like Opera mini and Mozilla browser. I also use my phone browser too. Same thing.
Maybe there's something I need to know.
We only show signatures to people who have signatures.
