joywendy:Apologies. It was too long and badly formatted cos of the browser you're using. I knew you'd assume there was more to it. I'm so sorry. More evidence from the show: http://rcnano13.tumblr.com/post/99953322944/korrasami-makorra-analysis-round-2-evidence |
Evidence that Korra And Asami are definitely more than just friends: http://heartlighting.tumblr.com/post/105606009782/final-bows-or-korrasami-is-canon-because The creators of the show have confirmed it: http://michaeldantedimartino.tumblr.com/post/105916326500/korrasami-confirmed-now-that-korra-and-asamis http://bryankonietzko.tumblr.com/post/105916338157/korrasami-is-canon-you-can-celebrate-it-embrace It's hard to remain mad at Korra for hooking up with Asami. There's nobody in the show more devoted to her or who understands her better. |
Femi2Ranking:That's cool. Noted. Please share the name of the medicine with us. Also, what kind of mange is it according to your vet? (there are two common types). Thanks! |
Femi2Ranking:What's the name of the medicine that the vet gave you? Since the medicine is working, why are you still thinking of switching to vegetable oil? |
prodeegeeDOGS:So it cures cancer too? That is indeed miraculous! Please describe your exact experience with coconut oil; don't just keep saying it works. |
jeffery1212:I love the translucent rubber case. I see no reason not to use it as it was designed to look good with the phone. |
Considering your priorities, option 2 is better, but you should sell it to someone who won't need to disturb you once s/he takes over the biz. Yes, the business may fail after you sell it, but that would not be your problem anymore. You're sacrificing it for something more important. |
@Prodegree: how did you find out that coconut oil works, and how long does it take for the effects to be seen? @Femi2Ranking: Please post pictures of your dog so that the mange diagnosis can be confirmed and others can learn from it too. |
Which threads do you want on the home page? |
MissMeiya:Give me his/her name so we can be sure that you didn't hack the forum. If he/she says he/she did it then it means you didn't hack the forum. |
MissMeiya:Who told you that I removed the thread from the home page? |
PhockPhockMan: Nobody said that Buhari is a saint. Even if some crazy warriors say it, no right thinking Nigerian believes them. However, the belief is that he is still more honest than his counterpart in your camp and your clumsy argument does nothing to convince us that this isn't so. |

Proffdada:Please give me 5 examples where this happened. Thanks! |
I'll ask a super-mod to take a look at this thread. |
slyowokoya:My heart started getting broken when I noticed that Korra was sitting next to Asami and not Mako during the wedding. Then her chat with Mako placed him firmly in the friend zone. Then Asami got rid of Tenzin to have some time alone with Korra. Then Asami equated the importance of Korra in her life to her father's. Then they decided to go on a 'vacation to the spirit world' together, "just the two of us". Then they walked all the way to the spirit portal and entered it while holding hands and I could not deny what was happening anymore. Their final lingering gaze as they held hands and the episode ended removed all doubt. It crushed my soul but I guess they deserve whatever makes them happy after what they have both been through - especially poor Asami heh. And yea, there is nothing masculine about Asami. She was the classy babe of the Korra universe. The Korra relationship doesn't change that for me; she is still the "vulnerable" one. |
Nigerian mob reasoning baffles me sometimes. The girls were going to be lynched even though nothing incriminating was found on them or in their bags. Our people can be really terrible. |
Criticisms aside, it was a great finale. I love the fact that Korra didn't win by just going into Avatar mode to overwhelm her opponent like Aang did in the finale of the first series. I love the teamwork involved in trying to take down the Colossus. I love how Asami's dad redeemed himself. I love Korra's energy bending and creation of the spirit portal and how it impressed Kuvira so much that she decided to turn herself in; Korra really proved herself to be a worthy avatar. I'm happy for Zhu Li and Varrick and not surprised; as early as season 1 he was naming ships after her. And I am actually glad that Korra and Asami each found someone who understands them and makes them happy, even though I wish the family-friendliness of the show was not sacrificed to promote gay experimentation. I'm surprised that most people are not angry about it and maybe this means society is more liberal than I thought. |
HonourablePomk:I did. That was in 2005, pre-chub. I thought that's precisely why you asked. |
HonourablePomk:I was joking earlier, but yes. I've lost 50% of the chub though. |
UjSizzle:Actually, Kuvira's fight with Team Avatar started before the EMP was fired, and at no point was she assisted by her mecha troops, even though the Colossus with its single clumsy weapon was not well suited for fighting with individual benders (it was too big and too slow). After the EMP was fired, she could have taken out the building it was sent from with one blast and immediately called for more backup, but she didn't. |
UjSizzle:Ok. I don't know why I feel so angry about it, anyway. It's just a cartoon. Korra and Asami are not real. At my age I should know this. pasqal09:The Red Lotus were the most powerful villains by far, but I think Amon's brilliance and hype made him the most interesting villain overall. I think Kuvira was very dumb in the finale. She shouldn't have fought Team Korra with a single vehicle carrying a single weapon, & no backup. She brought an entire army with her for Christs' sake, yet she chose to fight alone. Even after losing the weapon, she didn't call for backup. |
pasqal09:After this I don't think they'll let the producers of this show make any more children's shows. joywendy:Thread unlocked; pls say it! slyowokoya:Thread unlocked; pls say it! |
peterphd:I'd call myself a feminist, but I'm a man, so I'm just a sympathiser. I like women who are truly great (& not just in female stuff like fashion!) pasqal09:Yep. A strong female lesbian avatar. That is what the last 7 seasons have been leading to. [s](actually, she's just experimenting, or bisexual)[/s] [s]More thoughts on the stereotypes this ending is enabling: - "If a woman is physically very strong and very brave, self-sacrificial, and independent, then she must be a lesbian" ("Yes, like Korra" ) - "If a woman is very focused on technology and business, and rich, and independent, then she must be a lesbian" ("Yes, like Asami" )[/s] |
More thoughts on Korrasami: - Korra and Asami are not lesbians. They both recognized the hotness of Mako and did hit it repeatedly. What they're doing now is purely by choice. They are basically experimenting with lesbianism just because they enjoy each others' company. Not because they were born that way. - It's obvious in retrospect that Korra x Asami was going to happen. "Oh Asami, you're the only one I feel I can talk to about how I'm feeling." Mako x Korra wasn't progressing and Asami had no love interest whatsoever, but her 'friendship' with Korra was growing alarmingly strong. |
Ok, so let me be the first to say it! Korra and Asami are a couple! Korrasami shippers have gone crazy over it!! www.reddit.rom/r/korrasami https://grysplace.com/i/5909b2715d4e34a4e942.png http://imgur.com/gallery/PLaMZ But I am sad. I am a strong feminist sympathiser and I feel that the Avatar series is the most feminist show I have ever seen on television, and I vowed that if I ever got married and had daughters I would force them to watch every episode of the series. Most hollywood movies or shows with strong female protagonists or villains but not directed by women tend to include a few strong images that completely undermine the message, but Avatar series has been immune to that to the extent that I was shocked to learn that it was created by two men. So I love it. The problem with how the Legend of Korra ended is that there is a thinking among haters of feminism that feminists are just man-hating lesbians. By making the two most impressive young women in the story lesbian lovers, they have strengthened this wrong image of feminism. They've turned a feminist show into a pro-lesbian show, and therefore parents who disapprove of lesbianism won't let their daughters watch it. And this makes me very sad. ![]() |
jeff1607:Female dogs are notorious for fighting each other. A Rottie and a boerboel could damage each other seriously if they fought, so watch out! |
Pls relay this to your friend: Never give away a dog for free unless you want the dog to end up in peppersoup. [s]If you don't want the pups cos they're mixed, just abort them.[/s] |
