₦airaland Forum

Since you don't have time to design your own template, you should have more time to populate it with content. What drew you to this site? Was it the design?

Take her back if she's genuinely repentant. She may have grown wiser, afterall you are still not richer than before, right?

Hello dargly, thanks for sharing. On what channels and at what time is the Star Quest reality Tv show broadcast? Is there a way that those abroad can watch it too?

About the impact of reality TV shows: Do you really need a TV show to hunt for a musical band? I don't think so! You need nothing more than a recording studio and a judge with good ears. So why is the Star Quest being broadcast on TV? To entertain us, and nothing more. Which is the same thing Gulder Ultimate Search and Big Brother Nigeria are about. Entertaining TV viewers in order to catch their attention. Whatever happens to contestants after the show is just a side-effect!

Update: Why does their website require visitors to be over 18?

It's quite lovely, but you need to prepopulate the forum with interesting topics. You need to start posting topics like there's no tommorrow and bribe or beg some of your friends to respond to those topics.

Good point. I wonder if I'll have my passport before they get around to criminalizing atheism.

Wednesday Guardian is now dead, as far a I am concerned.

The Motorola RAZR V3 also has Itunes support which means you can buy legal music downloads at $1 each from the Itunes music store and play them on your phones.

So the camera is bad? Interesting. Is the RAZR beautiful? Can someone show us what it looks like?

Did you try searching at all? There's an existing thread on Setting Up a Cyber-cafe

From my email:

---
So are there any power-bike clubs in Nigeria? I'm throwing this question to the house!

africanboy: Your idea is a great one but it would mean rewriting the forum software. That can't possibly happen anytime soon!

Seun, It will be nice if we can be able to have a list of all threads we are involved in, I know you have the "show post" feature which is ok but we should all have a space with Threads we are involved in, with the stats for that thread i.e number of post since we last checked, last poster etc. It should be included on our first page when we log in to nairaland. People usually have post in so many threads that they loose track and can't be involved in a thread they were participating in

What do you think?

Have you never tried out New Posts Replying Yours?

for the first suggestion, why don't you volunteer to be a moderator for the jobs section?

For the second section, what is instant messaging and how's it different from the integrated yahoo messaging?

curiousNja: well, the way you treated b_e_b_e_ my elder sister gives me pause.

If you think the Nigerian police is bad, try the Armed robbers.

You're right, dear.

I use Graphcard with Google Adwords. You have to register the card's address and contact Google and beg them to activate your account!

Thanks. Are you planning to attend?

They have enforced the price list restriction.

The Wednesday Guardian (formerly Tuesday Guardian) used to be a must-read for me due to the price lists of computer parts published every day. The Compulife Magazine articles are yawners, I must say, but the price lists were enormously useful and prevented engineers from being cheated on computer system/accesory prices.

Most of the computer parts dealers that used to advertise in Wednesday Guardian are based in Computer Village, the computer market in Lagos. The Computer and Allied Products Dealers Association of Nigeria (CAPDAN), an association formed to regulate the market, created a policy forbidding members from listing their prices in adverts or distributing their price lists outside their physical premises.

As a result, the Wednesday Edition of the Guardian Newspaper is no longer worth buying. There's no point in purchasing the newspaper for the sake of the adverts when the prices are not listed. You are better off just going to the Computer Village to get what you want, and now you have to shop around to be sure that you're getting good prices. Sad, isn't it?

What a ridiculous idea.

WHere is Gateway 2006 holding and who are the organizers? Please, tell us everything you know about it!

Who is George Carlin and why should we care?

In order to promote the shirts for you, I'll need you to include the url www.nairaland.com prominently on each design, so people will know which site to visit. That's all.

There are days when I want to abandon my duty as a forum administrator, but then I remember that this forum is my only productive venture. So here I am posting on the forum and moderating whether or not I find it interesting!

Do I really love my job? Well I love 60% of it! One day I'll dump it on someone else.

naijaguru, tell us, is the real Ifa as active and efficient as portrayed in those Yoruba movies?

What's the African Vibes Magazine about? Tell us!

Thanks. I love my fans and I hate my critics. Yay, please don't turn against me tommorrow morning!
