For those of you having bugs on mr3.
Normally I just ignore posts about bugs because most people use the word without even knowing what it means.

There are instructions and proper procedures. Follow them.
Do factory reset and wipe cache
Wipe System... Wipe it again
Wipe Dalvik
Install rom
Wipe Dalvik for extra measure
Install your apps the normal way (don't restore) you can save the apk somewhere
Then use titanium backup to restore only data.
All the problems you have is caused by incompatible settings restored on the rom.

Finally, it's really not by force to use a custom rom. But if you choose to then do so and accept that it won't be perfect.

Poweramp is the best..no question. It however isn't one of the finest. If you have good headphones then power isn't much of a trip as much as a beautiful UI and the walkman has one of the best.

OK. I'm sorry I have been away. I'm back now. Thanks to Marc and kunle who helped me get thru a tough time.

I will be posting the fix procedure for those who have the no sin detected error as well as invalid imei this weekend. Please stay tuned and bear with me.

Tecno is losing. Not as fast as most tecno haters would like but losing all the same.
There used to be a hype. They used to have a franchise. All that has blown away. Truth is Nigerians are a very traditional bunch. Gionee e3 nd tecno a+ are closely matched but a+ sold even more. You would expect that trend to continue but since Gionee p2 came out it would almost seem the tide is changing. And it's simply because tecno is still branded chinko while Gionee is conveniently dubbed an Indian product.

It's a no brainer really. Tecno is making the same mistake BlackBerry did. Sitting on their hands and enjoying success without actually changing anything. Can you imagine the Gionee e6 has been sitting unrivaled for months? They have gone as far as actually themeing the roms which wouldn't impress one like me but is a selling point to common folk.

Tecno service centers which was the final cherry dangled to sell their devices has been exposed to be just a sham. Don't argue that part just walk into any and see how many people regret buying a phone with T on it. Gionee has no known service centers that I know of anyway but those devices have shown that they can withstand a lot. How many broken or cracked Gionee screens are out there? Or Bricked Gionee phones.? Do the math.

Tecno started something so beautiful but are now dropping the ball. It's hard to swallow as I should be dubbed a tecno fan boy. I still have my shirt with the T on it. Gionee isn't winning anything just yet tho. Not when there are more brand names climbing out of the chasm. Like Marc said, it's all about the best specs. And it hurts me to say, but as of today Gionee has it in the e6.

I still can't get over my fascination with your feet. It's why I'm always buying you shoes... they're beautiful. Like baby feet. You know how you place them on me anyhow just to get my attention? Or how you put them close to mine when you're cold? But most of all, it's the sound of your footsteps as you come home to me.... I'm gonna miss those sounds.


I could go on and on.. and some how I think I will but for today, I will stop here. I'm gonna miss you. Your kind heart, loving ways and charming personality.

Do you have an Idea of any custom rom that could run on the Tecno Tab, all these post seem to affect only the phone models. I was thinking maybe since they have the same Hardware basically, this could work also on the TAB

Secondly, kindly give pointers on how to back up my stock rom, for the Tecno Tab, I wanna play around a little, but am hoping I can revert back incase of any issues.

Those who are getting many force closes in Xperia Blast II ROM..Just follow the below instruction:

1. Disable "Active Notification" app from the app itself & from the accessibility options which is under setting->accessibility->active notification(now turn it off)

Above procedure will fix many force closes. But if somebody still wanted to use this beautiful notification app, can follow the below instructions:

1. Download & install "SystemAppRemover" app from the play store.
2. Search & uninstall ActiveNotification app from the "system apps" option, as it is one of the system app in this rom.
3. Restart your device.
4. Install "DynamicNotification" app directly from the play store.
5. Run & enable dynamic notification app from the accessibility & from the app itself.
6. Now ENJOY wonderful Moto X type dynamic notifications in your Phantom A+

franciscogee: Unfortunately browser has stop....that's what xperia blast2 is telling me

That error is caused by an improper flash. When you flash wait for about 5 mins after it boots and then switch it off again and reboot. Browser be fine after that. make sure to wipe cache, dalvik and system before you flash.

And I bet I have also been waiting for XDA to develop something that will work on their Dual Sim Phones... and cos of that I have been looking into continuing with my Xperia Family as I did the last time when Shakira first came out. But with guys like him, its kudos. I asked him about supporting with him cos I have the time but he is not responding... So I just have to sit back, let him do the work and I install...

tonyzaks: thank u. first i did a rom flash (Melting Rocks) and as i discovered that there is no sound and is displaying "no sim card detected" i revert back to my save original rom. after rebooting am stuck with samsung logo nothing else. So i followed your Unbricking Tecno A+ tutorials to unbrick it, which i did but again when i boot it, samsung logo appears first the tecno's. Although this one has sound but it too is displying "no sim card detected".
What is it must i do?

Where did you get your melting rocks rom from please? I will need that info if I'm to help fix the problem

When you say you flashed it...do you mean a factory reset or a rom flash? if you meant rom then what rom? and what was said that you followed because this is the first i'm seeing of this problem

hauza12: @ Seunpayne, thanks for d good and hard work so far its been highly appreciative.......Concerning your post on unbricking fone i been having 2 problems. l cant download the d MT655xx_use_Drivers, there is no downloading option for that. Secondly, concerning d flash tools_1312, d second download option(file) named backup data, when u click to download files IT says no file available dat its just an empty folder. Please address this its very urgent cus its a life saving issue........... .. .? Once again thanks!
