HOLLASLYD: I stated clearly that I will be working on it. I've already gotten ready the stock rom of this device and stock rooted rom for this device ready for upload. Due to file size about a gig plus, I will upload the stock rooted and try to make it smaller.
Before that, I want you get clockworkmod recovery ready or to be flashed via fastboot .

fastboot is a much better option. plus you don't have to upload the whole ROM now. just the recovery.img will do. since yours is rooted already, flashing it will be the fastest way to get root access for those people getting the restore error.

is that possible? thanks for the effort.

HOLLASLYD: For those of you that gets the restore screen as a result of continuous restore of binary and other oneclick packages that proved abortive, I will upload the stock rom or pre rooted rom flashable through clockworkmod recovery which am working to port to this device soon. Ironically, I only have this weekend free. Hope it gets done by night at least

how do we flash it with clockwork when the phone isn't rooted? except you have found a way to make a flashable recovery image that has cwm inside already. please I feel really bad for not being patient....Brenda needs to be rooted. help me please.

won't a hard reset remove the com.android.settings that binary put in the phone? I'm saying will formatting the phone solve this issue?

Why can't We just behave like adults? You have the option to wait till It's everywhere which We all know it will soon be or pay to have the info now. I can tell you that rooting the f7 is more complicated than We are used to because the nand is locked. cube no beef because I understand you. I don't support you but I understand. now please the rest of use should be patient. And stop beefing. It's not by force.

jaymichael: About the issue of no push notifications, are you serious about it cos I refuse to believe it doesnt have push notifications. you mean you can't receive your mails and social networks notifications on the go, I doubt it. Guy check your device well. A smartphone for this era no get push notifications, even my ex ex ex ex phone Nokia x2 get am.

a bit of confusion for me too. I got that prompt when I installed Facebook. said the phone does not support push notifications. will test it again sha cuz I was just as surprised as you were

klens: everything you type is capital lie, are you sure you didn't buy China. a friend even did experiment with his Samsung S11.camera,he finally bow for the phones HD display and picture quality both primary and secondary camera.do you know that he is getting this phone any moment? the internal speaker is even filtered with clear voice quality, so clear, better than n7 own sef, finally their is push notification, if yours doesn't have these function better return it because it is not The F7 I'm using now

This phone is sweet. Three issues though:
1. The internal speaker for calls has a low sound output. Calls seems muffeled

2. The camera no just follow. The pictures come out just OK but don't be fooled by the 8MP. The picture quality is not as expected

3. No push notifications. Don't understand? Well you and Google no quarrel.

Now please how do we root this baby?

well let me add my own then.

1. greenify: there is a reason I put this one first. its a humble hulk. you want to conserve ram so u get a task killer that runs in the background and eats bat3. so you get a bat3 saving app dat runs in d background and eats memory. with this app you can have tge best of both worlds. nuf said its a paid app but holla at me if u need d link to d cracked version.

2. Rom toolbox: games and applications are really nicr but after a month there is an itch you want to scratch and that is customisation. this darling right here us the army Swiss knife of customized productivity. you'll need lucky patcher to crack it if you don't want to buy.

3. poweramp: two words: powerful amplifier. this the music player. the one to rule dem all. lucky patcher to crack

4. errr...lemme check

Nb: you need root access to install any of these angels.

yeah I noticed it too. at first I thought maybe na block dem block am... but after a while it came back...since den I can't tell d network and nepa apart. on and off. switched back to the normal apn till I hear it is stable. bis kukuma dey expire today sef...so I dey wait patiently. things to take to camp has a thread in this section. Lists out 20 items. I recommend it.
the request letter has to come while you are in camp. you can start to pursue it now but the letter normally would come towards the end of camp. start early so you can know your options.

everything? well I assume you are already sure about being posted to Abuja in the first place. For PPA's there are two classes I think. you either get a school or you get something else. I assume once again that you are not interested in schools. Most ministries take corpers but you need to get them to request you first. CBN, ETF and FRSCN (did I get that?) are just a few of the possible PPA's. all na long leg. I'll be in Abuja camp to so maybe we'll see. happy ronsing
