The Northern States that adopted Sharia would be better served to combine forces and
form a new Nation State,"you can't have your cake and eat it too".

This scenario reeks of BullSh*it and you all know it (unless you have a vested interest in the status quo).

I wonder what will happen if when the first Mosque gets bombed!

Considering the way Roya Niger company first operated before the british came in,one may agree that Nigeria is a company but a badly-run one.

I slightly disagree, Nigeria is (was) an asset (Chattel) of a Company.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Footage Of Ghaddafi In His Last Moments Getting Beat Up. Disturbing by ShangoThor(m): 9:30pm On Oct 26, 2011
Apparently Ghadaffi was sexually assaulted by a member of the mob that captured him, i.e. it is claimed that video footage reveals that the Colonel was sodomized by a stick or a knife before he was terminated. Damn, that's what you call real rage!

First question, are Itsekiris and Edos (particularly Binis who have Odua heritage) not in the SS? Are Olukunmis not in the SS?? Are they not your "interest"? Are Ilajes not in Delta,SS??

Let's start from there!

Bingo!
Politics / Re: 'Akhwat Akwop' Asks Boko Haram Sponsors to Leave The Country by ShangoThor(m): 3:33pm On Sep 29, 2011
Absolutely hilarious, I will say this only once because in my opinion I think "SOME" Yoruba are delusional and suffer from a FATAL CONCEIT.

The position of abstaining, sitting on the fence, or 'ronu-ing' as I fondly put it (LOL) is not going to all of a sudden enable the Yoruba to:

(a) Mobilise a well organised homogenous Militia Unit out of the rabble we currently have, e.g. OPC - a front for Agbero's and area boys, this takes time and planning. It is not something that can be done overnight because we wake up overnight to find our women are being brutally gang raped, and our children are being slaughtered, and our homes are being bombed or burnt out. Especially a militia Unit that cannot be compromised by individal comprising members by bribery. My point being this kind of command structure requires planing and awareness.

(b) Or generate large cash storage of modern weaponry needed to defend ourselves. I suppose some believe we can do this overnight, this makes me laugh so much because it is strategically elementary, especially considering that other factions and regions are already armed or arming themselves.

Atleast yourbas have not been threatened so we don't need any serious militant group.btw, don't under-estimate opc.

Please, OPC are busy ronu-ing. You seriously need to study the events that led to the break-up of ex-Yugoslavia, no group abstained from the initial fracas, you snooze, you loose.

Its the sound of an antidote. Lol! lets pray that these dudes are as serious and deadly about defending themselves as they words portray. They are always welcome to form strategic alliances with the boyz down South. cool

Beef, you are hilarious, OMG I just spat out my coffee all over my laptop, damn I have to find a rag, LOL!

principled in taking human lives?? Nigerians always have a way of praising or watering down evil be it killing fraud etc etc.
Correction: boko haram has a price, but its a price no sensible government will pay. Their thinking is why accept a settlement when you can have the whole pot of settlement. They want the whole pot not a portion of it.
By the way FG has not made any offer to them so let them keep rejecting what has not been offered.

Your utterances are illogical, what you refer to is an objective and not a price.
Furthermore, objectively assessing a situation does not imply admiration. You seriously need to work on your comprehension skills
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Vows To Keep Killing Nigerians Till Demands Are Met by ShangoThor(m): 2:07pm On Sep 28, 2011
kulutempa:

Absolutely.  People who worship money think it can buy anything and everything.   When they come across someone who  can't be bought they always think "What more does he want?"   The only reason why our leaders want to 'negotiate' with Boko Haram, is so  they can continue their looting in peace, and the proposed negotiation is a way of saying "We can give you more money than you ever dreamt about, so calm down".    Just goes to show that our leaders are not only corrupt, but they are also a bunch of cowards with no balls.

Exactly, hence decadence runs rife in the fake Nation State (Slave Coast mentality).
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Vows To Keep Killing Nigerians Till Demands Are Met by ShangoThor(m): 12:46pm On Sep 28, 2011
Strange as it might seem, Boko Haram is the only really PRINCIPLED group (in that Category) in the Country. All other groups have their priCe and Can be bought.

Take heed, love them or loathe them, Boko Haram's unCompromising position will eventually lead to the fragmentation of the Nation State or Separation of regions to form new Nation States.

As they say in Nigeria, SETTLE No amount of SETTLEING will sort this problem out.

2015 A.D. is on it's way, braCe yourselves.

This guy is just unrepentant!!!!

Yes, elites have their own share of the blame but the lion share of it should go to him who forcefully truncated a democracy and gave opportunity to the likes of IBB and Abacha to further corrupt the elites.

I love when Nigerians are objective and speak sense!
Politics / Re: List Of Sovereign Countries Smaller Than Enugu City. by ShangoThor(m): 3:06pm On Sep 24, 2011
Hey, just playing devils advocate here, regarding the topic, it would be more effective to plant bombs in parts of the South, the West and the East and pretend it was done by Boko Haram.

This strategy would facilitate the separation or disintegration faster than you can blink.

Game over!
Politics / Re: 16 Facts About Libya? by ShangoThor(m): 11:03am On Sep 04, 2011
rebranded:

‎Just read this about Muammar Gaddafi's Leadership in Libya.
1.There was no electricity bill in Libya; electricity was free for all its citizens
2. There was no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens at 0% interest by law
3. Home considered a human right in Libya –Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home. Gaddafi’s father has died while him, his wife and his mother are still living in a tent
4. All newly weds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinar (US$50,000) by the government to buy their first apartment so to help start up the family
5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25% of Libyans are literate. Today the figure is 83%
6. Should Libyans want to take up farming career, they would receive farming land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kick-start their farms –all for free
7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to go abroad for it – not only free but they get US$2,300/mth accommodation and car allowance
8. In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price
9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0.14 (N22) per litre
10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally
11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found.
12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens
13. A mother who gave birth to a child receive US$5,000
14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15
15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree
16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man-Made River project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country
So What's d Problem? The long rule?

Even though I would be the first to admit that the list looks impressive if they can be verified as being factual, nevertheless the answer to your question is simple:

(a) the notion of President for life; (b) the fact that he deposed a monarchy to gain power, only to be trying to establish his own dynasty - i.e. the intention to hand the regime over, and key leadership positions to his sons.

Thanks for the admiration. There is only one truth, and that is what I am trying to reveal.

Hopefully we will not have to wait too long for a settlement, it might also make sense to collaborate with Separatists in the South in order to efficiently achieve the objective. I'm basically hinting at the fact that you should not completely close your channels of communication.

Let's leave the dreamers and idealists to dream about what could have been achieved.

Auwal87 I actually admire you, I find your honesty quite refreshing, personally speaking I accept and recognize your right as a region and distinctive culture to assert yourselves. I find a lot of Nigerians as being extremely fake and this has been the main source to the problems in Nigeria.

I just hope we can work together in order to find a peaceful settlement in order to facilitate a peaceful regional separation. We all know and accept that Nigeria is a colonial construct and we have all been forced together.
