Bliss4Lyfe: The way Nigeria police conduct themselves is appalling. Can u imagine beating a human being that hard in the hot sun? Why are Nigerians mindless bastards? It begs the question if the Europeans were right with their sub-human theory?
U have apprehended a protester, one or two strikes if he resist arrest then collectively u put him in a van. Do u have to beat him to a pulp and put him under the vehicle? Same yesterday, they killed a protester and am guessing he was conducting himself appropriately in a group of orderly citizens?
Nigeria Armed forces need not understand we Nigerians are their priority and not already secure politicians. It does make one wonder, and we are meant to be proud of this Nation of ours. Let's face it, the Police do not act in the interest of the Citizenry, they actually act in the interest of the (malfunctioning) order the British Vampires left behind. I have always argued that Nigerians will never be truly free until the status quo is challenged and overturned. Our constitution is worthless when it comes to the definition of our personal freedoms. |

Beaf: Stop talking like a malnourished toad.
You claimed that the UK subsidises fuel with reduced VAT! GBAGAUN!!!!!
The UK does not subsidise fuel, instead it is taxed; in fact more than half the price of a litre at the pump goes to govt as taxes. No developed country would do something as id!otic as subsidising fuel for consumption, that sort of fuckry only occurs in places like Nigeria where carpenters, hunters and rewires can aqcuire "Toronto" degree's from Oluwole and begin to lord it over genuine people. No industrialised country will subsidise fuel for consumption, that is the same as subsidising indolence.
All developed countries subsidise productive sectors of their economies like research, space industries, defence, health, manufacturing etc.
Please, learn in silence. In the UK, 75% of the value of Petroleum is tax (V.A.T) For every £10 spent on Petrol, £7.50 equates to V.A.T.; and £2.50 equates to the actual Value of the Fuel. |

Obiagu1: I think those that wrote that piece are very intelligent. Precise, concise and complete with a message as clear as it could be. I have been screaming about this for months, even over a year only to be heckled. This is not rocket science, this is obvious. A lot of Nigerians might be well educated, but they are not very INTELLIGENT, that's also the reason why we have never been able to produce 'Super Intelligent' leaders via existing mechanisms used to select members of our Government; furthermore, we are unable to PRE-EMPT the development of counter-productive scenarios in order to prevent these disasters. I appeal to every citizen to wake up and smell the coffee! |

Ogbonaikenna: The Boko Haram sect is exploiting the weakness of the Nigerian state, its corrupt and inept leadership that lack public trust and the already ethnically polarized security formation to carry out strings of successful attacks, this will continue until the country splits into its component parts. AOKOYA urge the Igbo and Yoruba people to close ranks and ensure non-violent disintegration of Nigeria. “Igbo and Yoruba people we must stop the circle of evil, the circle of blame game, from the trauma of Awo to the trauma of the civil war. Igbo and Yoruba people must do this for the sake of generations yet unborn. They must unite against a common threat to their own collective survival.” At bloo**dy last. This should have been done months ago, or even years ago, since when the Northern States insisted on practising Sharia under OBJ. Secularism exists for a reason, how can a whole Nation be so friggin silly. Everybody knew how this was going to end because you were told. We need a U.N. Sponsored referendum NOW! |

I am absolutely horrified, especially as I have been screaming on NL for months. These events were predictable, and the worst thing is that more audacious atrocities will be committed in the future so we have to brace ourselves for the inevitable.
However, this is where I draw the line, and a lot of Nigerians do not have the stomach for what has to be done, in order to further save innocent lives.I was always prepared for this eventuality and they will pay dearly for their actions.
I cite relevant examples in history such as the Crusades and establishment of the 'Knights Templar'; Vlad the Impaler and the breakup of ex-Yugoslavia. This is not just a battle for the various peoples of the River Niger, it a battle for sub-saharan Africa.
The bottom line for Christians is that if Christ was willing to die for our sins, so should Christians be willing to die for our entitlement to life.
Game on, good against evil, light against darkness, Game on! (And a reverse one finger*ed salute to anybody that does not like what I've just posted). |

What an absolutely irrelevant article. Absolutely irrelevant. The foe and some of their kinsmen have declared war against the Nigerian State, and their demands are non-negotiable, they are not willing to engage in dialogue, or compromise so what part of this doesn't the writer understand, and what is the point of trying to sway them via reasoning and persuasion.
Moreover, this is what is polarising posters from the various Southern communities? No wonder we were ALL conquered by Oyinbo's.

Chyz*: Well, the structure has to be favorable and pretty much fare in every sense. We Igbos would like to go back to our tradition governmental system of ASSEMBLY and not any time of centralized system such as President or Governor of a state. If we want that but lets say MB and Yorubas dont want that because culturally it is alien to them then who does it work? Chyz, seriously bro, why would you think others would not want the same thing? All respective regions would be able to keep their own resources and develop their own land, simple. |

Chyz*: In southern nigeria, I foresee political gang up against the SE as is happening now and always.Do you people want continuous marginalization? southern nigeria cant work. Chyz, the only reason why the Nation State is not working is because of how it is structured. Are we so arrogant that we cannot agree to let the people decide in a U.N. Sponsored Referendum? |

Negro_Ntns: Suggesting a first split into North-South before a second split into East-West infer that the individual East, West region cannot independently resolve the dividion without the assist of the other. It also gives the appearance that the North is a formidable force and in addition to the cooperative of the two, East and West, a third and external party is also needed to supervise the division and security.
Am I correct, is this what you intended? All I am saying is that any resolution has to involve the Citizenry. It's the citizens that wield Sovereignty and not groups like OPC. Otherwise, it would be a slippery slope to tyranny. Yoruba people are either enlightened or they are not. |

Negro_Ntns: about which part? I will be wrong to say I know what future holds. I cannot contest your claim that the worse is yet to come but I am not sure that lumping Yoruba with all those other people you mentioned reverses the situation. It is time to think and act wisely. "There are plenty of ways to skin a cat"! You cannot guarantee that Yorubas were not killed in the recently perpetrated atrocities and neither can you inform me about which body OPC is accountable to or about their command structure. Besides the arguments discerned above, I personally do not like placing my faith in an ethno-centric solution. My Position and experience dictates that I would do all within my ability to protect and represent the interest of innocent civilians. There is no need to fear the outcome of a U.N. Sponsored Referendum. The citizenry might opt to split into Southern Nigeria first, and then Eastern and Western states afterwards. What is important is the existence of a mechanism, a route to achieve the objective. |

I dont know how about East or anywhere else, maybe they need UN but no, we dont need UN in West. Beyond Nigeria, Yorubaland stands on its own. . . no more amalgamation. What if you're wrong 'bruh'? |
