Auwal87 I actually admire you, I find your honesty quite refreshing, personally speaking I accept and recognize your right as a region and distinctive culture to assert yourselves. I find a lot of Nigerians as being extremely fake and this has been the main source to the problems in Nigeria.

I just hope we can work together in order to find a peaceful settlement in order to facilitate a peaceful regional separation. We all know and accept that Nigeria is a colonial construct and we have all been forced together.

Yahaya85:
Ofcourse the spokeman of BOKO HARAM admit that they are responsible for the U.N building bomb blast,i hear him live at BBC HAUSA SERVICE,VOICE OF AMERICA HAUSA SERVICE,DUTCHWELLE HAUSA SERVICE,AND FRANCE RADIO INTERNATIONAL HAUSA SERVICE.
Are you sure, because apparently, according to some board members Boko Haram are not loosely affiliated with any external bodies or incapable of wreaking such havoc?

chatterly:
Nigeria as a country is a spent force, the 100 year experiment has failed woefully, the black man is not capable of managing a complex entity with vast resources like naija, see what is happening in drc and angola, the other big and resource blessed xtries in africa contrast that to small xtries like botswana and ghana,i thinkits time we broke up peacefully
I love it blunt (the truth), its crystal clear.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Claim Responsibility For Abuja Bombing - BREAKING NEWS by ShangoThor(m): 8:09pm On Aug 26, 2011
Some People are missing the point.
I never dismissed the fact that the US or CIA are stirring. If you look through the threads I had previously written, I discerned this fact months ago as it is apparent. However, the M.O. of the US is that they always take sides in a conflict, or stir up conflicts in order to gain a superior advantage or to protect their business interests.

But what is happening in Nigeria right now is down to Home Grown Islamic aggression. Some in the North believe that they are 'Culturally and Religiously superior'.
The last time the Police HQ was bombed in Abuja, we had the same reaction, those that argued that Nigerians would not be involved in such henious, dastardly atrocitieswink which baffles me because we come from the neck of the woods where millions of individuals were callously abducted and transported to other continents for financial gain), so in my opinion (some) Nigerians are very capable of perpetrating henious, callous and dastardly atrocities because they are primarily human beings and secondarily do not view citizens from other regions of the Country as their compatriots, amongst other reason. From the hacking to death of women and children in Jos to the attacks after the elections on certain citizens with impugnity.

Back to point, after the Suicide bombing on the Police HQ a Photograph emerged of the Boko Haram bomber, and he was Nigerian.

I make no apology for being a 'Separatist', however, it's time to cut the crap, it's time for all those in favour of living under a Sharia Nation State to stand up and be counted, and those that want an alternative have to start getting organised now, both politically and economically.

Al Quaeda is in Nigeria, whether you like it or not, this is not rocket science it is common sense. This is also why Nigeria is frigged up, instead of being objective enough in order to identify our problems, we bury our heads in the sand or try to blame others.

Can anybody with an IOTA of common sense explain to me how illiterate Almajiris have managed to change their methods of attack to more sophisticated and more precise and effective methods. Why, some even mentioned at the time that the first suicide bombing at the Police HQ in Abuja was not carried out by a Nigerian, because a Nigerian would never engage in such an act, but this has been proven to be false intel. The suicide bomber was Nigerian, the same individuals arguing in this thread.

To fix this problem we have got to accept a few hard truths, the majority of Southerners travel to the West, the majority of Northerners travel to Sudan etc. Northern Nigerians (Some) are being trained in  Militant Islamic Camps, its a bitter pill to swallow, but it is the truth

Southern Nigerians are pathetically docile. Its the same as we have known about the corruption in the Police force for neons but as a Society, it is something that has been tolerated, nobody thinks of what happens when we get to a situation where Armed bandits can bribe the Police or Terrorists, when you cross a certain line there are always consequences, all that it will boil down to is who is the highest bidder or payer.

It never fails to amaze me how Nigerians are absolutely deluded and are in complete denial. Nigerians are so fake it makes me sick, physically revolting. Everybody, especially board members have been aware of this, and I was screaming about this months ago. Some chose to deny the Al Quaeda connection and others chose to abuse, but now shit has hit the fan.

You reap what you sow. Start bracing yourselves for another audacious attack, where will the target be, who knows.

Nigeria needs to separate period!

ezeagu:
The whole of Nigeria will have a vote and it won't necessarily come out only North-South. The whole world is aware about the plight of the Niger delta even under their "southern brothers". Other groups like MASSOB will not miss this opportunity if there is a vote on a split.
True, but IMHO, the main issue confronting the South will be the practice of true Federalism, if SS are allowed to keep the proceeds of their Oil sales and mineral resources, and the same happens all over Southern Nigeria then MEND would not have a raison d'etre and neither would other militant organisations in other regions.

If the State was not acting as a massive Welfare State (dishing/doling out the receipts of Oil sales) then all regions would be forced to further develop their natural resources thus 'moving away from a State focused on distribution to a State based on Production' and wealth generation/creation. This is when we will really see how abundantly wealthy Southern Nigeria is.

Ofcourse, on the flip side of this argument, regions and ethnicities will be able to hold their leaders and elite accountable. There will be no excuses left for individuals or ethnic groups as they will have to confront their own self destructive demons.
PoliticsRe: When Will We(nigeria) Declare War On Boko Haram? by ShangoThor(m): 11:16am On Jul 07, 2011
I predict, BK will step up their campaigns and become more audacious (I'm expecting an attack of epic proportions), Western allies will move in to curb the situation.
Outcome: Demarcation, Southern 'Niger Area' will be given autonomy just like Northern Iraq and the Kurds along with financial autonomy regarding oil receipts;

Only the British can successfully break apart what they forcefully created in the first place; hereby implementing the self fulfilling prophecy - "As it was in the beginning, so shall it be in the end"; Two separate and culturally distinctive countries.

In my humble opinion, it will be good ridance to bad, malfunctioning and impoverishing rubbish.
PoliticsRe: "al-qaeda To Use Nigeria As Hq" - British Intelligence by ShangoThor(m): 10:30am On Jul 07, 2011
Most of the peeps on this board are aware of this fact, I had a massive argument with ROSSIKE about this fact, I can't believe that I am genetically linked to a bunch of people(s) that are so mentally slow, I mean it's despicable.

I was screaming and highlighting this issue for months and perhaps people thought I was eccentric, hence board members have been aware of this from the pre-election era.
Southern Nigerians are in denial, but Boko Haram are bringing the deluded Southerners back to reality. You cannot adopt the Ostrich approach for ever (burying your heads in the sand), the creator gave you brains for a reason.

My advise to citizens is to start converting hard currency Naira to Gold and currencies like the Euro, Sterling and the USD

Hear, hear
gonzaga:
I get sick when i see people comparing Boko Haram with MEND. In the case of MEND, the people in the region were exploited, marginalized and abandoned. Their waters were polluted, the land degraded and the people left to their ill fate. In the midst of plenty there was lack, poverty and disease. The people rose against such traetment and the rest as they say is now history. It is pertinent to note that, MEND never attcked a religious body or institution. They were fighting TJF and blowing up pipe lines. It was never a religious confrontation, even though the leaders that were responsible for the years of neglect were from the north. MEND never killed local government chairmen, blew up beer parlour joints or burn mosques. But Boko Haram, has unleashed voilence on all Christians , southerners and government institution. What are they asking for? that we should close down all our universities? tear our degree certificates? change to sharia? all become muslims or what? There is no basis for dialogue here.
The north had always been in power, so u cannot say they were marginalized. They all have sharia in the muslim dominated 12 northern states, is that not enough? The country is always trying to bow to muslim demands simply because of voilence. Now theyhave resulted to bombings just because GEJ is the president. Those asking for dialogue, if Boko Haram ask us to all become muslims, tear our certificates and all go to afghanistan to fight the infidels, will we be ready to meet such demands? You just dont dialogue for the sake of dialogue. Prof is right lets have a referendum just like south sudan, so that those who want to live like beasts can continue to live as they want to. My pity is to the christain minority in the north, they will either be slaughthered over night or turned to slaves. Enough should be enough! The muslims in the south, are they also not muslims? Why is the northern islam soo different?
PoliticsRe: Let Boko Haram Have Their Own Country, Says Omoruyi by ShangoThor(m): 8:24pm On Jul 05, 2011
It's funny how Nigerians claim to be democratic but would disagree in priciple to the notion of a referendum for Separation or Demarcation.

What a bunch of Phukin hypocrites. The problem is the majority Nigerians do not stand for justice, equity, decency and civil rights, they
stand for EXPLOiTATION of the weak and feeble, hence we have a stalemate, so where is the pROGRESS?

I wash my hands clean off a set of people that adhere to propping up a system that ENSLAVES millions of Africans and have subjected them
to abject poverty. Well you are all getting your just desserts, so live with it.

Let it rain Boko Haram, let it rain!

Eziachi, i u read my post all this while, u would see I have never condemned boko haram

neither have i condemned mend for carrying arms so why should massob be different

my advise is very genuine and true, the government would keep arresting them and killing massob members while opc, mend and boko haram members go free

the sooner they take up arms the better
At least be consistent, you've said in quite a few previous threads that Boko Haram doesn't exist.
PoliticsRe: Massob To Join Boko Haram - Uwazuruike, Leader Threatens: I May Join Boko Haram by ShangoThor(m): 12:35pm On Jun 20, 2011

PoliticsRe: Massob To Join Boko Haram - Uwazuruike, Leader Threatens: I May Join Boko Haram by ShangoThor(m): 12:25pm On Jun 20, 2011
Actually, well noted.

A very credible strategy for acheiveing the objective.

Separatists Vs Unionists

Read between the lines: They will consider targeting high profile unionists with their bombing campaign.

Why wouldn't this work? It isn't as if the State Security apparatus is competent enough to provide security to her citizens. Furthermore, Nigerians are not patriotic enough to die for the Unionist cause, so why wouldn't this work?
TravelRe: Airport Tip Corruption by ShangoThor(m): 12:10pm On Jun 19, 2011
Nigeria, the only country I am aware of where citizens have to pay bribes/tips for services that we are legally entitled to. Absolutely disgusting. I've been to countries all over the world (including poor ones) and never experienced it, but some of us will continuously make excuses. They even do it whilst in view of CCTV.

The joke is that if you're a big boy you don't have to go through all of that because when you're escorted it renders you unapproachable.

Aboki alj_harem,

I will really appreciate if you concentrate your effort on how various governors in the north are working with the FG to curb illiteracy, ignorance and poverty in the Northern enclave.

Your fixation with Igbo/Yoruba unity (or lack of it) is very infantile and portrays you as very insecure, and a possible sufferer or inferiority complex.
Contrary to your wish, one day, and very soon - perharps - in 2015, the Igbos will work with Yoruba and Middle Belt (yes you heard me well Middle Belt) to move Nigeria (or Southern Nigeria if that's the option we are left with) forward.

So aboki, starting thinking of how to eradicate polio, and almajiri from the North. When your are done, try your effort on the developing crack between the NE and NW, last time I check, NE is already complaining of the domination by NW. That is the new frontier. And forget the Middle belt, they have sussed out the way of the core North, and are not ready to be used as willing pawns in the Norths power games. Tiv, Igalas, Idomas, etc are not northerners - they share more in common with the south.

If Nigeria were to split today into North and South, dont be surprised that they will pitch their tents with the South.

Aboki, you frequent attempts to continually sow discord between SS/SE and SW is very much noted. Well done my friend alj_harem , the chameleon.
Now that the glove is off, what is your next play?
Bingo, and stay blessed! Let those of low I.Q. take note
