My sister's classmate in Nursing school was 64yrs... No excuse if u really want to succeed. You can graduate and still work for 30 years before retiring.
But, note that admission WILL NOT be in Naija.
Cameroon takes ANY age... You can start with HND, travel & work then run the BSc Nursing online.... Just be hardworking, focused and prayerful.

Pregnancy is possible that is why some women still use IUDs and pills, however, life is sweet ooo, once there is money, just pay a surrogate ( many companies are springing up for this service and more) to help in carrying the inserted egg and sperm.... Bsc Nursing available in Cam? How many years if so. Ow many years if bringing transcript of similar course

If RN- 1 OR 2 sessions depending on school and u can run it like 14 months maximum.(2 sessions type)
If just graduate, 3 sessions of 24 months intensive( Come with WAEC+ Degree+ Transcripts)
If just School Certificate, come with WAEC/NECO: 4 sesdions and may be run in 36 months( intensive in a school)

*MODIFIED: Just come with WAEC( preferably) or NECO for HND program usually 3 years but this can be negotiated especially if u are hardworking/focused.... If you are a graduate of CHEW, Public Health Nursing ( ND), Paramedics and related health courses( even if u want to transfer), it may just be extra 1 year for HND....Graduates of non- health discipline, just come with WAEC for HND( first) which u can use to work globally then run BSc Nursing ( online/on campus based on choice).
There is Assistant Nursing of 1 year(12 months) with government certificate for those who can't do an HND program for which u can still work as Senior Carer/PSW( abroad)... Whenever u still need the HND, you can come back and do it physically for 1 session. Thanks

It is possible to do Assistant Nursing in UK but you would have shortchanged yourself.
If you transfer to Cameroon with proof of transcripts and certificate, you may run 2 sessions within 13-14 months and get licensed in Cameroon.
But why do you people go to countries that won't easily give you license? Adaptation in Nigeria: maybe N250,000-300,000 and about 18 months and success rate at final exam is low.

I have a few questions myself;
1. For someone that’s an Rn Bsc in Nursing science from Niamey with translation of Certificates and transcripts but is yet to get her licence from Nigerian nursing and midwifery council can she apply for jobs overseas ? I mean nursing jobs and if she can’t, can she apply to work as a nursing assistant for some kind of job in health sector in uk and pls how does she go about it and which agency or job link can she use in applying , even if it’s to secure a job in old people’s home as an assistant nurse till she get settled down abroad and then run some nursing’s courses.
My pony is if it’s not possible what are options for her? She’s yet to get her license in Nigeria because of some circumstances.

Some countries accept it for work @ Bachelor's and Master's levels while others accept this professional diploma for work as Assistant Occupational Therapist.
Though Nursing as a professional program, RN is accepted for work as a Nurse and not as an Assistant Nurse.

Is it true?

1)It is because these Nurses attended Colleges of Nursing in Nigeria and after their professional program, they were awarded RN after passing NMCN board exams. Any trained Nurse(RN, HND or BSc) can call himself/herself, Nurse Emmanuel.
2) Maybe in Canada ( has a bit of a complicated system for foreign trained Nurses though some manage to manoeuvre it) but NOT in USA...You pass your NCLEX-RN exam to become a Registered Nurse in USA( whether u are ADN, HND, BSN)

Cameroon doesn't discriminate especially when u did biology in secondary school( be it your sister or u). Your sister diesnt need to waste money completing the Microbiology if she can get her transcripts and transfer. You can also get BSc Nursing. You will license with Cameroon Nurses Association and the sky is your limit especially working overseas.
