Raskimonojendor: Reno stating the obvious. The agulu fraud is too tribalistic to be the president of a diverse country like Nigeria. He would have different rules for different region of the country. He can't even pretend or hide is tribalism.
An Arewa group also told him to condemn IPOB terrorism about two weeks ago, else they would classify him as a tribal candidate. The agulu man no just send them. I never thought a day like this would come when private citizens would be held accountable for insecurity, the name of the IGP is kayode egbetokun, the chief of army staff is taoreed lagbaja, the name of the president is bola tinubu, yet some brain dead folks choose to condemn a civilian woman. |

MightySparrow: See delusion. Which influenced the other? You cannot find any traces of Benin influence on ife or Yoruba till date. Benin bear Yoruba names, worship their idols, has a dynasty from Yoruba. Earliest historian like Egharevba, who were closer to elders wrote correct history in 1930s that are twisted today.
If Oduduwa is from Benin what legacy did he leave in Ìfẹ as a Benin Son?
When Sango was going to revenge the maltreatment of his grandmother, he turned north but couldn't proceed further because of Niger River. Why didn't he face Benin?
Jjust mention one legacy of Benin on Ife and Yorubas. Even the bronze craft was of Benin was learned from Ìfẹ. Check the history. 😂😂😂 Benin learnt bronze craft from ife ? Ancient ife wasn't even a monarchy, at some point strangers ruled ife even till today the ife royal household is being contested by several families and the ooni title is rotated among these families. An exiled bini prince ruled ife. |

Now I understand Igbo obsession the obi of onitsha dresses more like a bini man than a Yoruba man, and he also traced his ancestry to bini kingdom, ife which influenced the entire Yoruba race was also influenced by the bini kingdom. |

blowjohn: Guy u still don't get it. There won't be any breakthrough to kill all mosquitoes.
As long as Africa is full of dirt, expect mosquitoes to survive.
As per vaccines haven't u read that people that took covid shots will be at risk of health issues after about a decade?
Have it at the back of ur mind that they are constantly testing this things according to the science involved only the female mosquito transfer the malaria parasite, the GMO male mosquito was genetically engineered to make it impossible for the female mosquitos to give birth without procreation the female mosquito species which carry the malaria parasite would go into extinction hence the eradication of malaria, hence it wouldn't matter if Africa is full of dirt, there are dirty neighborhoods in America and other western world yet no malaria over there. |

The essence is to make money off u!!!
U will continue buying drugs and vaccines till a new world order comes thru Are you not buying anti malaria drugs now, if the scientific breakthrough is to kill all mosquitoes how then are they going to make money of you ? If they want to wipe you off there are other less suspicious ways they can do it almost all your drugs is made by the westerners, why haven't they wiped you out, when it comes to vaccines you guys act so woke when in reality it's just ignorance on display. |

RushManni: Quick one : how can they "misuse" something that's sunk into the ground ? one thing that kill borehole is low current or fluctuating current, some evil tenants don't care with low current them go just go on borehole, the light can be going on and off 20 times in 30 seconds Dem go still go on borehole, how about the ones who when them know the tap isn't running they will leave the various tap on, when they aren't around and you pump less than an hour water don finish, sharing responsibility is the only way to make everyone act responsible. |
Properties › Re: Between Landlord And Tenant Who Should Repair A Faulty Pumping Machine? by Shattuck(m): 10:10pm On May 21, 2024 |
Tallesty1: We are so used to the abnormal that it has become the new normal.
Once the pumping machine breaks down, you should inform the caretaker or whoever is in charge of the house that it is faulty. It is not your responsibility to fix it. You made a payment that covers those repairs when you paid your house rent.
Normally, it is not even your responsibility to fix the lights or change sockets; the caretaker should take care of it.
Landlords are responsible for repairs and maintenance that ensure the property remains habitable for his tenants. Things like plumbing, electrical systems, pumping machine and all are his responsibilities.
Rent isn't a one time payment so he is supposed to ensure that those things you are renewing your rent to keep using are in good shape. this is quite an irresponsible and selfish statement, when you enter into a new property and everything is in perfect shape it is just duty to make sure everything remains so at the point of departure, you can't come to someone property and damage appliances like that, I had one who damaged the door with hammer because he had a fight with his ex, he claimed it was the ex who did it who gets to fix a damage door, with cost of fixing it almost 20k, we can all complain about landlords but most tenants aren't nice people at all, they don't give a damn about the state of the property, and they have no sense of responsibility, if not for caution fee and other compulsory obligation and monitoring, you would have a case where most houses would be unhabitable after a tenant leaves. |

Dangote's problem is that of black elites who fail to realise that a tree does not make a forest, so he is essentially an extreme poverty pauper like most of his Kano almajiri people and other Nigerians. this is just the truth a visa free Africa may not be possible for now, imagine a little island nation like Seychelles being overwhelmed by economic migrants from more populous nations, and you also have terrorism issues, crime and other stuff, the reason why France can enjoy such privilege and not the average African. |

Politics › Re: Judiciary Is Biggest Threat To Nigeria’s Democracy – Peter Obi by Shattuck(m): 8:36pm On May 18, 2024 |
helinues: Saying Peter Obi can never be Nigeria president is not out of hatred, Peter Obi don't just have the quality/character of a president.
Imagine someone who made some statements just some days ago oo, within that same week, he has contradicted his own self out of desperation.
When the Judicial favoured him, it was good, but when it didn't favour him, it's now bad and rotten..
The earlier Peter Obi realized he can never be Nigeria president as he doesn't even have any tangible achievements to show for it, the better for him and his supporters. how is the statement contradictory? I guess you have a problem with general comprehension, so acknowledging a once upon a time when the judiciary worked and drawing a parallel to the story state it is now is termed a contradictory statement, only people whose brains aren't properly developed would have a problem with the simple comprehensible statement. |

idealogical: Passive aggression is derailing the topic by injecting irrelevant and unrelated references into the topic, the story has nothing to do with Igbo names or meanings or whatever translation you have for Igbo words.
The topic is not about what Ola means in Tiv, Efik, Ibibio, and Fulani.
Always resist the urge to turn everything into igbo this and that, that's bigotry. what about the free stuff guy who posted that tinubu also has ola in his name, did he also derail the thread? Is his comment irrelevant? Why didn't you attack him? You guys are obviously the problem, it's easy for ethnic neutrals to see, Ronu my foot, nobody is the source of your problem, you obviously has personal issues you need to sort yourself out, you can hide under your ethnic umbrella to spew hate or it may give you false sense of pride and superiority but I doubt if you have much positively going on for you in your personal life. |
Sports › Re: CAF Adopts Nigerian Name ‘Ola’ For New Interclub Match Ball by Shattuck(m): 10:22am On May 18, 2024 |

If you are looking for a tribalist, look in the mirror. you are obviously the tribalistic one the lady just stated that ola also means something in igbo, I found it quite informative as I didn't even know the word has meaning in several other language, she never downplayed or criticized it's meaning in Yoruba, but you can't just help it, you had to express your bigotry, my guess you are also a Ronu APC gang, what is it with you people, you can't just grow up for once. |

You can imagine the nonsense, ganduje promising them that more appointments are coming is a confirmation of what we already know, appointments in the tinubu admin is not a call to service, it is a reward for political service and Nigerians get to pay for it, how then can a nation grow, women asking for appointments not because they have any idea on how to run a nation or any critical sector but just as a means to appease them for their political support. Emilocorn has almost fifty ministers but it reality those with brains aren't up to five. |
