Quick question regarding passport application process in Georgia State. Does the consent form from father have to be notarised at the U.S Embassy or any court? Election postponement has spoilt plans |
Herzumpther:Lmao! U sound like a friend of mine. Pray first that u will marry a right thinking man, that God will bless ur home with children and finally that ur husband be able to afford it. In order my dear ![]() Meanwhile it's good people like u are here, so by the time we come back for 2nd, 3rd and 4th round, una go don sniff out another cheap affordable package we can all use. ![]() |
mamanjai:Likely questions could be: 1) Does she work? 2) Where? 3) Who is sponsoring her? 4) Where will yall be staying/your medical details? 5) Duration? I don't think they'll let u go with her to the interview, except she needs u as an interpreter or something like that. I think giving her copies of your Dr and hospital arrangements, accommodation, copy of your visa, bank statements stating you sponsoring, and any other important info about your trip. She should be fine though, they usually don't give elderly people stress. |
IyawoToBe:Lol @ Ewww...u can eww from here to Cotonou. Are u chasing me or about to marry me? Why would I care ![]() |
Hahahaha u people crack me up. See all the gospel and epistle preaching peace and all. Oh and folks posting @ 1am could be in different time zones. Biko it ain't that serious. And anyone who bursts a nerve becoz of what someone says to u on a faceless forum, needs to speak to a psychologist about handling her emotions/anger. So make una quit with the "holier than thou" posts and epistles. It never was that serious...well not for me anyway becoz I'm not buying anyone's ticket here. Lol! So why will I care if they fly @ 1 week or 43 weeks?? ![]() |
nefertitiram:Hahahaahaha! Chineke umu Israel! This was not what I had in mind when I started my very first initial plea with mamas! Lmao! |
modath:I think u need to research on the meaning of that expression. It doesn't apply to this in anyway. Like I said b4, u are reading and NOT understanding. People do all sorts during pregnancy, night journey by bus Lagos to Imo and back. Yes we know all that. Hell women even push baby out while farming in the bush, cut the placenta with their cutlass, bury it, wrap up their baby and keep it moving! My point is (and I'll write in caps this time, maybe u'll get it now)...IT IS NOT THE NORM!!! WE SHOULD STOP PULLING GANGSTA MOVES BECOZ OUR CO-WORKER DID IT, THEN WE CAN! Or becoz 1st pregnancy handled your 20hr road trip to Alaska, then this current pregnancy should. My point is DO THE BEST FOR YOU & YOUR BABY! Stop traveling late becoz u wanna "gangsta" ur way with the whole process. Even Drs cannot tell u when ur child is ready to come, they can only ESTIMATE. So if a baby decides to enter the world at 32 weeks and u are planning on leaving naija at 35 weeks, don't come on here and lament that ur baby has a green passport after all the plans. Or becoz u were tryna save ur job. |
modath:U can go back because ur post doesn't address anything at all! U could have climbed Zuma rock at 38 weeks with no issues and effects to u but that doesn't mean it's advisable and should be the norm!! I said in my post U can go to Morocco if u believe u get the best there. U people are reading and NOT understanding! If u like leave Naija at 35 weeks because Mama Nkechi left at 38 weeks and was fine, u and Mama Nkechi are NOT the person! Penny wise, pound foolish! ![]() |

Lol. U totally got all I wrote wrong. U think I'm saying get out of Nigeria and have ur baby in the US so it guarantees smooth delivery? No that's not what I'm saying. Or that complications cannot be handled in Nigeria if it arises. What I'm saying is why RISK and do gansta things becoz u want to hide under "if the baby is meant to be....?" U will go out of ur way to provide the best for ur baby, be it Naija or Morocco. Secondly, whether u like it or not, witches and wizards do exist! So does evil. I never said "do not share"....I wrote be careful and mindful of what details u share and items u request from folks u don't know from Adam. And Yes one can believe in no weapon formed against us shall prosper but will they stand in front of a moving car or moving bullet becoz of that? No! U will avoid it anyway u can. And that's my point. Believing in being invincible is all cool and nice, but be careful of how u make urself a target. That IS what I'm saying. |
nefertitiram:Please tell them. Nigerians like to hide under words like "I am covered by God" or "if it's meant to be...." Even the bible says that all things have been given to us but u still gotta TAKE it. In other words do ur part and tick all ur boxes, God will take care of the rest. Oh and @Mabels this is also in response to u. We need to start being proactive and not relaxed. Jus sayin! |
lilyfranklin:Lol they better hear oh. And for those putting details of their travel, including departure date and time. People are no good out there oh...let's apply some wisdom. Evil has gone technological oh ![]() |
Newmum0615:If u are faced with the option of losing that job and having a healthy delivery process in the US, I take it u would chose ur job ![]() |
lilyfranklin:all of una asking for this and that from people coming from Naija, and those wanting to hook up with people and plan together, una better be careful. Witchcraft is real. ![]() |
Traveling at 35 weeks is RISKY! It's not like it's domestic but Int'l for over 8 hours. Mothers biko lets avoid stories that touch! Life and safety over anything oh. Be wise. |
debbyokeowo:U have to first find an Obgyn attached to Northside hospital Atl. There are loads of Obgyn to choose from, so google Atlanta Women's Group. It will list all the offices then u can call them. 80% of them are 5 mins from Northside Atl, as in behind the hospital. As per fees, depending on which Obgyn u choose, they'll give u their fees. It's always good to "shop around" before settling. But I always advise you go with an experienced Dr. As in somebody who finished Med school in the 1980s! In my opinion they are usually the best with over 4000 baby delivries under their belt! Oh and most of the offices will ask you to fax your records before they can give you a price. Unfortunately u have to find a way to send ur records across to them. As per hotel and accommodation, u CANNOT function in atlanta without a car of your own. Nothing is close to anything, u can google Extended Stay close to Northside or in the same zip code 30342. But u still can't walk it. U still need a car. Hope this helps! |
PrinceAdeAde:For what date? As in is $120 standard to upgrade or that's the cost for her particular return date? |
LMAO @ Lorlahbee and Amotherlife. Hahahahaahaha See fight over Kilishi . Where a group of preggies are gathered, fight is bound to break out. Lmao! |
Lol Elpaso sha....what's wrong with the place that people are complaining and defending it? O gini? So much controversy on a destination lol |
mamacajah:Yaaay! I'm 3 mins from Lithonia. It's 28 mins to the hospital, I'm using Northside too. There's not much info to give just that she arrives and calls Northside to register and pay. When is she coming/due? |
Tvegas:so bulkhead seats don't get bassinets? noooooooo |
Bia Mr Justwise did u delete my post to Zeezahbee ![]() Why? Uncle, don't get me upset oh. Why didn't u delete her condescending post? I want to believe u are not tryna suppress me from stating ish as it is! Next time she knows to answer questions NICELY!!! |
bbaby84:Can't remember exactly if it's 50MB or 15MB per day. My mum was using it, I'll ask her coz me I'm on At&t for $45 a month for unlimited minutes and 1GB data per month. |
drafrican:Lmao! Good question! ![]() |
Airpure:Heard that Uber mobile is the cheapest. $19 per month for 1000 minutes nationwide, and unlimited texts. Google them. |
@ochioraumu, my dear for now just focus on getting home and resting. Get something to eat and relax in your flight if u can, I know it's hard. But u shouldn't be stressing and giving yourself HBP now. When u get back to Abuja, u can contact the embassy, and get WELL-INFORMED answers to your question. Just take it easy nne. |
drafrican:Technically, and sorry to say but Una never marry. Get ur "hubby" to do something LEGAL & RECOGNISED by government bodies to certify una union. Like someone already said, go to court and sign papers and have that certificate. It's also for ur own good as a woman. And also for when the child comes and documentation starts. |
donakinzo:u are fine! I had only $40 on me cash at POE....rest of the money was on debit and credit cards |
Lmao @ the Nigerian visa is an eye sore ![]() |

B4 person come deny u after birth |
