There are other players that have done this, not a new thing. The emphasis on this thread is on the combination of leagues he did his - EPL, La liga and Serie A. Suarez for example has same record with Ajax in Dutch league, Liverpool and now Barcelona. Ibrahimovic should also have such, I'll have to confirm though.

Up till 2010, some federal universities accepted 4 credit passes in the then DE/UME brochure for admission. FUT Minna was one of them. Go and do your findings well. Obaseki presented his HSC and UI certificates as a first rerm governor and UI attested to it. He didn't perpetrate any fraud. The NYSC had a letter omitted which was later corrected before he was screened by the pdp by NYSC. You people should stop applying sentiments or emotions into issues. Whoever wins, good luck to him and I wish the edo people best of luck in their choice of a candidate. Mind you, PDP and APC are both same. They're occupied by rogues and hyenas.

As you have rightly said, the criteria for admission in the 70s is obviously different from what we have now. Obaseki as far as I'm concerned has no question to answer but I can't say the same for his deputy, Shuaibu.. For someone to present WAEC and then jump to Master degree (MBA) without presenting first degree calls for concern. I don't know of any University in the world that would admit you for MBA programme without a first degree. This to any discerning mind obviously shows something isn't right with his first degree.

I see your whole point and can understand what you're driving, however I feel the analogy you gave is misplaced. Firstly, a lecturer/teacher just like a cleric is taken to have the role of "in loco parentis" which is a Latin term meaning "in place of a parent in a child's life". The lecturer has a moral obligation to counsel, supervise and guide a student (male/female) regardless of how young that lecturer is - he is a leader by being in such office. So can a parent(father) tell his own daughter : " I will give you money (better grade for lecturer) if you sleep with me?". While a child can tell her father same thing, the father will correct such erring child and society would not be as astounded about it as it would if the offer were coming from the parent. That's the kind of analogy that fits into this narrative.

My own grouse is that the law should be able to protect lecturers too from some devilish students that may falsely accuse them. They should also suffer stiffer penalties like jail terms too rather than just expelling them only from the institution. That way everybody will be guided. I also do feel lecturers that do not have any kind of influence whatsoever on a student's grade - different faculty/department be allowed to go into relationships that can lead to marriage especially when that lady is approaching her finals. My personal opinion.

You're in support of marriage between them and not dating.
