SmartPolician:
Religion thrives in Africa because of government failure. In parts of the world where government knows their work and does them, nobody has time for religion because lots of their churches are empty during their service.
High rate of poverty and hopelessness among Nigerians make them to be easily brainwashed by religious leaders.

Oga are you urself a Muslim? bcoz no true/real Muslim would type or say what you just did. Even xtians gonna be shocked to hear a Muslim condemn a fellow Muslim like u did based on nothing but just a few doubtful sins u quoted. If everyone is gonna be condemned and removed from the fold of Islam based on doubtful small sins, who is gonna be left in the religion? As muslims, we all know that eating pork or alcohol does not make you a non Muslim, you have only sinned and u gonna be accountable for ur sins only
Why are you stressing yourself, you should have known that the guy is illiterate abooki from terrorist turn North claiming to be Muslim

VERDA:
They did what they had to do to get the government to start focusing on the plight of the region whose lands were being destroyed, and their states suffering financially despite carrying the financial burden of the country.

Their agitations even though to extremes at some point is what brought about the 13% derivation, the Niger Delta development commission and intervention programmes in that region

The region was ignored until they decided to pick up arms, that seems to be the only language the Nigerian government understands...

The same way it's negligence over the years has led to the desolation of Maiduguri and parts of the north east by Boko haram and same thing happening in the northwest by bandits.

In extreme cases one needs to destroy to rebuild, to die so we might live.
But after getting the funds from FG, the elites and those militants enjoy themselves to the fullest while leaving the poor people to their poverty environmental degredation illiteracy poor health facilities among others. They are the one doing themselves.

But you will be the first to post information about Nigerians that are elected into political offices in foreign countries. And continue to sing thier praises of how they have made Nigerians proud.

I dont have any thing against any foreign looking person holding public office , as long as they are Nigerian citizens, either by marriage or naturalization.
As long as they meet the criteria as a Nigerian citizens, then they can enjoy all the benefit that is due to Nigerians . It's only if she is not yet a citizen of Nigeria, then we can raise alarm ,since it's unconstitutional.

However, that position, commissioner for Culture and tourism should have been given to an Indigenous person that has the capability to do the job . While she should have been made "commissioner of environmental" or something like that .

In summary, as long as she has the Nigerian passport and appreciate our culture and people , then she has every right that we Nigerians have in this country.Including being elected or selected into public service.
You want Nigerians to come for your head Abii??

I'm still tackling the basics of Java syntax, before entering Kotlin.
Why can't you learn one language, master it develop great things with it.

Otom has so much perfected his manipulative skills to the point of attracting countless applauds.

I have never seen/heard him commission one project.

All Samuel does is wail over herdsmen and federal gov on national TV.

No one visible project can be observed in untroubled locations.

Otom is far more useless than the Kerosene man.

Interestingly, he worked for the honor thanks to his myopic supporters whose sense of reasoning have been clouded by party, religion and tribal sentiments.
The man used all his years spent in office to complain without doing anything tangible

Anyways, all these are mediocre projects. They are what ordinary Local Government Chairman can do with adequate funds if we are not corrupt in this country. Meanwhile, One Governor in Benue has used all his 7 years in office to criticize and blaming Buhari for his incompetency and using fulani herdsmen as an excuse for his poor governance.

Politics › Re: Lagos Warns Commercial Drivers Against Fare Increase Over ₦800 Govt Levy by Sheriman(m): 6:27am On Jan 23, 2022
Faiththatworks:
Seriously the commissioner for information that issued this press statement needs to take a trip in a commercial bus from lkorodu to Mile 2 to experience the torture commercial bus drivers experience every day in the hands of this crazy, rudderless,blood-thirsty, murderous elements called NURTW,RTEAN Aka agberos.
How can any government that was given a Mandate to rule by around 400000 people be subservient to a group less than 40000 in number.
Why will any state government concede its authority to these rascals and touts for whatever reason.
This touts collect the money for 2 passengers anytime a bus is filled with passengers and leaves a bus stop, ditto for Keke marwa and the popular korope or 7 seater, and wow betide any driver who refuses to pay this useless touts their fare.
Enough of this madness, Mr Sanwo olu,you weren't elected to pamper these touts, and if Tinubu,Sanwo olu and their cohorts believe these touts deserved to be pampered, then it shouldn't be at the expense of the hard working citizens of Lagos State.
My solution to these madness called tax levy that's about to be unleashed on hard working lagosians is for Sanwo-olu to act like a governor and declare that from Feb 1 any agbero collecting money outside a recognized park should be arrested and detained,it's robbery for these agberos to collect money at all major bus stop in Lagos,I don't understand why Union activities should take place at every bus stop in Lagos.
Sanwo-olu should start acting like a governor.
They would not act anything. They love all these touts and thugs, they are useful to them even more than well behaved and educated Lagosian. They are politicians machineries where do you think MC Olumo Koko Zaria Tajudeen Agbede among others are seeing those millions to sponsor their children to school in America and England just like our politicians. That is the legacy of Tinubu.

I see MC Oluomo nominated by the government to head the peace talks with both factions, I see the Lagos State government budgeting millions of naira for the peace treaty, I see the arrested hoodlums being released.

I see the our pointing governor saying if the federal government can pardon Boko Haram and bandits, why shouldn't he pardon common area boys, I see him giving them more money and urging them to maintain peace in the society.

This I have seen.
