The guys bank account and boxers must be fully loaded for this kind of beautiful girl to turn Mario. |
joedams:Who have these people been talking to? Except you are a manager with one of the IOCs or an offshore guy with a servicing company that has a well paying contact (who cares enough to consider their staff) there is no way in hell you can earn this much. Never! |
Wizzyblack3:My brother. You just wait until the refinery kicks off, then you would see a group of people coming to shout "our oil was given out without the government considering us first", now that they have opportunity to build refineries, none of them will venture into it. We are still waiting for dem to come and shout, "No be so Buhari give Dangote licence to refine our oil ignore our brothers" |
Abagworo:Ask the sellers, not Lagosians. |
caxim04:Biko say what you know, it actually happened in my office. For months, some guys that left were still being paid salaries and they were using it. When it was noticed, the office didn't even bother to ask them to return the monies paid to them and nothing was done to the HR person responsible. SMH. |
GworoChewinMaga:I'm even surprised that the Fulani herdsmen theorists have not come up with their story. I guess the ND hand-fallig guys beat them to it. |
I'm supposed to believe this because....? Where is the source? |
First, it was Lagos and later Ibadan. Now it is Calabar but in PHC reverse is the case. They create artificial scarcity, increase the price to N170/ltr and darn the effect to the people. I don't just understand Rivers State at all, despite the fact that refinery is working and fuel is being loading out everyday, you still can not find any to buy at the already inflated N145/ltr. Na wah o |
onetimepro:Please I'm interested in the renting the place, the up flat. I'd have called to book an appointment but my transfer will not take effect till July 1. Can you, please, send pictures? |
I don't believe this jare. Check the edit history of the post, most of those things were added today... Edited: The guy has pulled the post off his FB page. Have you guys forgotten that you can actually modify a FB post? Yes, it was not photoshopped but it was obviously modified.

IVORY2009:I beg to differ. I post items to UK and US via Nipost and I've never had an incident where my item got missing in transit and the items get delivered within a week at the most. Try using registered mail or EMS to send your item; though I'll suggest you use registered mail because it is cheaper and you can also track your item till it's delivered just like that of EMS but, EMS delivery is faster. |

snailspeed:Where exactly did you buy it from? Your post says Shoprite but the label on the pack shows SPAR. ![]()

Imagine. After frustrating the Government to change the price of a liter of fuel from N86.50 to N145 because they are expected to bring in the commodity based on N285/$, they now want to blackmail the Government to provide them USD at N197/$ so that they will still come and sell at N145/liter. Na wah o. See armed robbery sense. |

Abuja – The Minister of Communications, Mr Abdur-Raheem Shittu, said the Federal Government planned to turn the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) into a mega conglomerate offering various services.http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/fg-turn-nipost-conglomerate/ |
Na wah o. This story is not new na, this was first posted on NL July last year. Check https://www.nairaland.com/2484671/nepa-vs-juju-residents-chased Modes, end the thread Mbok. |
Oga, your calculations got me thinking I wasted my time in school. How can fuel go from 6k to N8.45k and you say it is 40.8% increase, then from N8.45k to 9k and you say there was a 0.59% increase? Mbok, my maths teacher should have chased me out of his class make e be say na only biology I study. |
Most insurance companies are like that. Something like this happened to me with Mutual Benefit, mine wasn't life insurance though. What the marketer told me turned out to be false and when I decided to close the account because I found out the were just decieving the public, they calculated and told me what I'm entitled to is less than half of what I contributed. When I asked why, they told me the other would go for "charges", which was never mention in my policy or was explained. Even at that, they still refused to give me the cash, I had to go and make trouble at Aret Adams House, where their head office was located, before they paid me. Never again will I save money with any insurance company as long as there is a functional bank. OP, I feel your pain. I'd advise you speak with a legal practitioner to know what your options are. You might even get a chance to get all your money back. |
https://d1phczbdxyh8yo.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/09024342/Shonde-couple1.jpg The man who allegedly killed his wife in the Egbeda, Lagos area, Lekan Shonde, has told PUNCH Metro that his wife, Ronke provoked him by describing vividly how her lover slept with her in a hotel in Abuja. Lekan, a depot worker in the Apapa area of Lagos State, said his wife of eight years changed after she allegedly started dating the general manager of a publishing company. The Abeokuta, Ogun State indigene, said he regretted marrying Ronke, explaining that his late mother had warned him against the union, but he never listened. Our correspodnent had reported that Lekan and his wife, Ronke, lived on Tiemo Close, Off Awori Street, in the Egbeda-Idimu area. The marriage, which was blessed with two children, aged six and four, was said to have been marred with domestic violence. The crisis culminated in the death of Ronke on Thursday, after which her husband fled the house and locked up the children with their dead mother. He said the last time he beat his wife was three years ago after a disagreement, saying he had never touched her afterwards. He said, “Since I married my wife eight years ago, she has never bought anything into the house. I gave her N5,000 on Saturdays and N3,000 on Tuesdays for soup. I also gave her money to make her hair. “She was working with GTB as a marketer, but she got sacked three years ago. For that period, I was the one feeding her and taking responsibility for everything in the family. I would wash her pants, bathe the children and buy foodstuffs in the house. She later got a job with a publishing company owned by her uncle. “But my wife changed sometime in March, when she started dating the general manger of a publishing company. My wife was going to the office from Monday to Sunday and she wasn’t going to church again, all because of this man. She called him ‘Eyitemi’ (My own). “Last week Friday, she went to Abuja and came back on Monday. She never told me that the lover was there with her. I learnt later that the lover was there and they slept together in the same room for four days. “When she came back, she didn’t know I was inside the house. She started talking with the man on the phone that he really had fun with him and I didn’t know how to make love. She again said her private parts were paining her.” He said he confronted his late wife and she confirmed that she was dating the other man, adding that she asked her to concentrate on a relationship. Lekan said his wife refused to leave the house despite his insistence on her leaving. Recounting the incident of that night which led to her death, he said they had had an argument over money. He said, “It was around 9pm on Thursday. We had paid our nanny N20,000. Then we needed to pay our children’s teachers N30,000. I discovered she had taken N20,000 and when I asked her to return my money, she said she had spent it. “I was angry because for the past three months, she didn’t allow me to have sex with her. I pushed her hand away from me on the staircase and I left her. She never tumbled or fell. In fact that night, I bought the food that we both ate because she said she didn’t want to cook. “I didn’t know anything had happened to her until Friday when I saw her on the staircase. I thought she was still pretending. I just left her and walked away.” Asked why he shut the gate against his children, he said he never did, adding that it was his son that closed that gate. Lekan also denied taking the victim’s phone away, saying he left it on the bed. He said he had no reason to kill his wife, adding that he bought her two cars and always provided for her needs. He said, “Jide, her family’s second child lived with me for three to four years. Their eldest daughter, Bolatito, has lived with me too. “Although I am not a saint, I don’t drink, I don’t smoke. I am a responsible man. The problem with my wife was that she was temperamental. She shouted at me whenever she talked. “I am a Lagos boy and I can be in this Lagos for the next 30 years and nobody would see me.” Meanwhile, Ronke’s sibling, Bolatito, said their mother had just arrived in Lagos from Ilorin, Kwara State, adding that the family would not want to talk about the incident yet. Our correspondent gathered that Ronke’s brother and the second born of the family, died in a ghastly motor accident in Abuja. Bolatito, who is the first born, is the surviving child of three children. She said, “My mother just arrived from Ilorin and the family wants to devote time to attend to her; we don’t want to talk about the incident. I am not in the right frame of mind to talk. “But all I want to say is that her husband is somewhere out there and has been calling. The police should reach out to the telecommunications company to know where he is. He called me and he said he wanted to see me. “He also said he wanted to see his children and I should tell him where they are because we might never see him again.” The aunt of the victim, Bunmi, explained that the suspect had been threatening suicide, saying their mother had forgiven him. She said, “Mummy is very sad with this, but she has forgiven him and does not want him to commit suicide.” A family source told PUNCH Metro that the domestic violence had been on for some time, saying at a point, the matter was reported at a police station. He said the suspect always accused his wife of extra-marital affair. He said, “He always beat her because of his belief that she was into an extra-marital affair. “The beating reduced a bit when the wife of her late brother who was one month pregnant before his death, moved into the house with them. She stayed for about eight months. She was like her saviour.” The Convener of the Women Arise for Change Initiative, Mrs. Joe Odumakin, while condoling with the family, said the group would pursue the case till the end. She said, “I am shattered and heart-broken. Their mother had been a widow since they were all little and she has lost two of three children in less than one year. And it is hard to believe that the killer husband has been chatting with people, asking to see his children and blatantly lying that he only slapped her. “Neighbours must learn to intervene when they hear unusual noise. And women, who are in abusive relationships, must speak out before it is too late. Lekan should come out and submit himself so he could be tried in a court, where he will have the chance to prove his innocence.” NB: Lekan spoke with PUNCH Metro on the telephone line provided by his in-law, Bolatito, which was also confirmed by the police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos. Glo is worse when it comes to unsolicited calls. It can be very annoying when you are expecting an important call and you get one only to find out it is an automated machine asking you to press 1. Ah!!! |
helpee:Chief, let's revisit this Economic Principle by close of business next week and see what happens, not judging by a budget that was signed mid-day on Friday. You talked about investors injecting funds in minutes, was it not the same investors erroded confidence that subject the NGN to its current stress level (added to our own insatiable greed for everything foreign and some people's want to make quick bucks) did that still take minutes to make naira go from what it was to what it is now? I am a certified economist and I know what I'm talking about. By the way, are you making your postulation based on the fact that you actually ran a "real" market survey of currency trade on Friday after the announcement or where you just specualting based on what the OP posted? |
A budget that was signed when? How long did it take for NGN to slide from N218 to the present rate? 3 days? I keep saying this and I always will, I don't belong to any party but we Nigerians are the architect of our present predicament. We always want magicians as policy makes and if Professor Pella had contested for any political office, we'd not have cast one vote for him. This write up is premature as far as I'm concerned. |
tuale4u:No vex, the post too long. Is this before or after tax? |
Since this is the first I'm seeing them shake, it is very difficult to know if it's ordinary or cult related. |
I'm not surprised. Rhythm FM PHC (@rhythmnews) broadcasted a news earlier today where it was said that people should report fuel stations selling above pump price and played a sound bit of someone they alleged was from DPR but the number he called was too fast. I've asked them to give me the number but they have decided to ignore my tweets. I also checked the DPR site and there was no contact number for the PHC office. I guess it would have been of no use because even if I report, it would be more like me informing them of where to go and collect their own share of the deal. |
bushbaby88:Front page ke? You see snake there abi even quote Tonto Dike for the title? |
donbenedict:Not even Jesus? ![]() |
But seriously, is the house yours? He built it without your consent or you contributing to build it. Even if he inherited it from his own father, as long as he is alive, you have no right to whatever he owns because it is his. So, why should he tell or ask you for permission before he sells his stuff. How do you know he is lying about owing the bank and other people? Let's even assume he is lying to get you off his back, if he refuses to give you any explanations will the heavens fall? Oga, focus on being a man of your own and build a life for yourself without looking at what your father has built for himself. |
That's is the way to go. You are just lucky that SLOT does not advertise on NL, if they do your post would have been treated like the one I posted about Konga. |
